After purchasing our plane tickets going to Singapore at PAL
My hunger strike and it's hard to find a decent restaurant that serves real food.

Mostly fast food they been everywhere. too bad I can't eat fast food that much because I gave myself every year a 6 months "OFF" literally I called it that ""OFF" means "O-ff F-ast F-ood!"

Though its tempting but I always says to myself,
"DO'NT EAT THAT! IT WILL GO DOWN TO YOUR STOMACH AND STRAIGHT TO YOUR BUTT!" 128514 funny it may sound but really I'm serious!

Ever since I watched my weight, I'm quite a picky eater already, I pretty much eat everything I want but in moderation. I learnt how to convert calories as well. It's hard but I managed.

Good thing on the 3rd floor saw this pretty decent place.
Ordered tonkatsu ramen it's big so we split it. It's delicious not too salty, it's a clear broth which I like. I did not eat the pork because it's fattening. Ebi tempura is delish too the coat is quite toasty pwede na. My son ordered a chicken teriyaki. Savory indeed! and the serving is big good enough to fill the hungry stomach! We left the restaurant full and satisfying feeling!

Compared to the other pricier ramen places, I still prefer the price points in this place because they serve flavorful ramen. Their tantanmen ramen is just the right amount of spicy. And we always have to have a side order of Gyoza and gohan fried rice too!

I ordered their tendon meal and I didn't finish it because it's salty or too much MSG (?) Their calamansi juice is to sweet also. I won't try to dine in there again. The tables and chairs are so crowded also. People should think twice before trying this resto.

The place is so small.
The tantanmen is one of the best Ramen i had so far. I also like their seafood rice, big serving and delicious. While the tempura basket is just so-so.

Yesterday, I was tired after my hospital duty so me and my sister decided to have dinner before going home.. This was not our first time dine at Rai Rai Ken but its our first time to avail their 50% off on all Ramen if you order 2 appetizers and 2 drinks. 128513128522128513128522
Not a bad deal eh?!?? We ordered california maki and gyoza.. This appetizers can't be compared in any way with teriyaki boy.. 128078128078 Ramen was so-so but the seafood, veggies and all are overwhelming

So much reviews that I need to do and since I feel like staying late without anything to do but to do this then finally I'm doing it 128516. With Rai Rai Ken I'm not sure if I just ordered the wrong food or what but I'm not really happy with it. I dine in with my family and they are not happy with their food too. Quite expensive for a food that I don't find appealing. Though a plus point for the staff because they are courteous.

We came for lunch so the place was a bit noisy and the waiters were busy.

We had:
beef teriyaki - ok
mabo tofu - ok
yasai itame - I liked this...
Green Mango shake - liked

I've always been iffy with eating here because their ramen is not real!!! Lol but it can pass for the correct flavor, although it's missing the correct ramen consistency especially in the soup. They have a disclaimer already about their noodles so I knew to manage my expectations accordingly.

They offered the ramen at 50% off if you order it with an appetizer and a drink. They can even split the ramen in two already if you want to share. We ordered the Super Umani Ramen and my folks got the Seafoods Hot Pot. Our complementary dishes were Atsuyaki Tofu, Salmon Sashimi, and Super California Roll. They were all good! Especially the tofu--crispy on the outside because of the sizzling plate but very soft and mushy on the inside (good combo).

With the current promo, it would seem as if you're getting 25% off your total bill (considering the minimum amount of food you can buy and swallow). Not bad!

Servers are jovial and some speak Japanese. Food is served quickly and the ambience is good. Looked a bit cramp if you go in but booths are well designed. Recommended for family meal times! 127860

Nice place to eat. I like their variety of ramen. My favorite would be the gomoku and the garlic chili ramen. But what i love most is the reasonable price. You get 50% off the ramen if you order a drink or appetizer.

Was having a hard time choosing the restaurant we were to eat in tonight and we chanced upon Rai Rai Ken, a place we've never eaten at before (the selling point at first was that they had 50% Ramen) so we gave it a try.

The 50% Ramen required ordering an appetizer and one drink and so we got the Super California Maki (seen in photo) and the Crunchy Roll. Both were really flavorful and filling, worth the price we paid for.

The ramen we ordered was the Seafood Hotpot Ramen which was kind of disappointing since it didn't really taste like ramen, and Japanese more so. It's just good enough, but not worth if paid for full price.

Besides the ramen and appetizers, we ordered the group meal #1 which consisted of Chicken Teriyaki, a platter of Yakimeshi rice, Crispy noodles and a pitcher of iced tea. The chicken teriyaki was really really good, even better than that of Teriyaki Boy's. The Yakimeshi was just pretty normal, nothing out of the usual. I share the same sentiments as I did with the ramen with regards to the crispy noodles, I felt as if I was eating at a Chinese restaurant instead of Japanese (haha!)

Overall, everything we got was satisfying despite being a bit pricey. The service was pretty quick but the restaurant itself was a bit cramped so it was hard to eat.

My trip to Rai Rai Ken with my friend last September was an okay experience because.. First, i thought even if you only order the ramen it would be 50% off already but noooo you need to order an appetizer plus a drink in order to avail that promo. Second, I ordered their gyoza, since its the cheapest, and I didnt like it compare to the gyoza of Taisho cause it wasn't that fried that much. But thank god that my Seafood Hot Pot Ramen and my friends' Batchoy Ramen satisfied our tummies. It was worth the try for the ramen but i cant say that i would be coming back here anytime soon.

Before i knew Ukokkei, I have rairai ken 128512. If i reviewed this earlier might have been all praises, but since i now have a basis for great ramen. I could find room for improvements on their tantanmen.

Their version is leaning towards the oilier and the spicier side. I appreciated this so much better before ukokkei 128532.

Huge plus on their never ending 50% off on ramen as long as you order a drink and a separate food to go with your ramen.

For less than 400 i got a huge fish furai ( their version of cream dory fish fillet) which btw tastes good with their sauce and coleslaw.
Best eaten by 2 to 3. And a can of softdrink.

Really not bad at all.

127775127775127775127775127775 for value for your money, and minus 127775 because ukokkei existed and theirs dont just taste that great anymore.

No picture since i got it to go andot will a picture inside a microwaveable container wont do their dine in presentation justice.

Maybe next time 128518.

Will definitely be back since i live 5 mins away from this place. My easiest ramen fix.

So I completely forgot the name of the ramen i ordered128517. Sorry128516

Anyway the ramen tasted alright, it was really filling and the soup itself was slightly thick. It was pretty salty though.

My ramen had shrimp, mushrooms, cabbages, onions, what tasted like fish balls and slices of squid.

They have this promo btw, you get 50% off for every ramen and additional dish and drink you order.

Rai Rai Ken still does Shark's Fin Soup. Automatic Dislike. Make that hate actually.

Their ramen are also slightly too MSG flavoured.
