ate lunch alone. d since its too hot for Ramen I decided to have the set meal The Sanwa fish set as I was craving for a simple grilled fish.
Sanwa fish. tasty grilled be ready to pick the bones in the belly part but that was ok. it met my expectations. tasted fresh like how a grilled fish should taste. perfect w kalamanai and a little soy sauce on the nice japanese rice 1108811088110881108811088
The miso soup that came with the set i found just a little salty for my taste 11088110881108811088
the coleslaw was ordinary because of the dressing , they can improve on that 11088110881108811088
the potato salad was ok. , but felt out of place 110881108811088
overall I liked it .
the set cost P290
service was attentive and quick

Budget meal for just 299php.. You already have rice, katsudon, ramen with miso, salad and mush potato..compare to other ramen house that i have tried, i would ranked this the least on my lists..the food tastes good, so its fine..

i usually dine here with my friends after shift so we prefer ordering their group meals.

But during my last visit, i tried their bento set - california maki, miso soup and ramen (shoyu based). Flavorful combination, i must say. Since i was in a hurry for a movie, I didn't get to
finish the entire maki set.

Prices are budget friendly. Food is served faster than the other Japanese modern restos in a mall.

Other must try dishes - chicken karaage, seafood hotpot and gyoza.

Used to be our Ramen go to back in the day. Sad that it's degraded like this. Funny that they're still around with all the other high quality ramen joints available. Stay away.

After going attending a mass in Edsa Shrine, mom and I decided to have a good dinner to start the week right.

I'm not really much into dining some new food that time plus there were many people in the other dining areas, we headed here for that quick Jap-filled dinner.

I ordered a Tori Karaage platter, 2 cups of Japanese rice, 3 pcs of gyoza, and 1 bowl of Kani salad.

Upon seeing all the dishes in our table, mom be like " 128563 Anak, paano natin mauubos to?", and I was like, "Ma, tiwala lang." 128527

Mom's fave was the Kani salad, although it has too much Jap mayo, it was overall good, plus I loved the fact na straight from the freezer ang sliced mango na nakalagay. 128514

The karaage was okay, it was literally ang dami, could be eaten by 4 persons. Gyoza was nothing great, mom didn't like it but she noticed na kumakain ako ng gulay kapag pinasusyal ang luto. Wth 128517

We had a good time dining here, although when it comes to our bill, something went wrong and took minutes to adjust our receipt.

Sometimes you have to skip the ramen and try other stuff. 128523

The food was kinda bland. Like the chicken teriyaki had good sauce but the chicken meat itself seemed like it wasn't seasoned at all.. 128530

Not going back here unless my lola makes yaya again, but I'd probably suggest elsewhere and she'd probably make me pagbigyan 10084️ hehehe

Looking for something light, a quick snack and we ended up here 128533 Ordered ramen, yakimix udon and maki... nothing special...128563 the ramen lacked flavor, udon had too much pepper and the maki was mediocre...128548 sorely disappointed ... pffftt... 128563128563128563

Ate here quite a few times already, it's our go-to jap restaurant. 128522
I ordered sukiyaki with california maki on the side
They have this combo meal? Na ngayon ko lang napansin? Or matagal na un?
for 200 plus something, you can choose your rice meal and side dish then there's an iced tea for your drinks.
So para maiba yan naman diba lagi nalang salmon sasahimi e 128514

*sukiyaki- it's so gooood 128525 oh! And by the way did i mention this is a rice meal? didn't know you can combine sukiyaki and rice. 128525

*california maki- it falls apart 128529

Food is good, may sometimes ekkk pero most of the time it's good 128525

though service kinda sucks (minus 1 11088️)
They're good at taking orders but when serving and the billing comes, that's when they do the slow motion 128514128557
i don't know it's been my complain ever since, hope they'll work on it kasi change nalang asdfghjkl years pa bago mo makuha e most of the time when we eat here konti lang tao. Hmmm

My aunt and I were choosing where to eat for lunch at Robinson's Galleria. Due to lack of options we found ourselves eating at Rai Rai Ken.

Now, I adore Japanese food buy my stay at Rai Rai Ken was pretty underwhelming.

Firstly, the place was poorly lit. I felt like I just wanted to leave the place as soon as I finish eating.

I was hoping the food would save my so far dismal experience. But the food turned out to taste so normal. Portions of rice to pork cutlet is huge! I mean, what a waste of rice. At the end of the meal I found myself searching for something to

Dont get me wrong, the food was consumable. But it wasn't fantastic. For the price of 250 Php, I would rate my experience as so-so.

Don't plan on coming back.

We are the last customer to order. I ordered Batchoy Ramen + Gyoza. They have this promo of 50% off price of Ramen if you ordered it with Appetizer.

The soup was okay, but the noodles aren't so much of the authentic kind. It doesn't have that taste I'm looking. Gyoza was okay, and the overall ambiance as well.

If weren't for the 50% off, I would think it is a little bit pricy.

Hooray for Rai Rai Ken's 50% off on their Ramen. Tried their Batchoy ramen last night which is one of their bestsellers. I loved it! :)

A bit disappointed even when the place itself looks life fast food level kitchen. I expected at least as good as Teriyaki Boy or similar but no, this is under them. Rice was over cooked, Yakimeshi was dry, California Special roll didn't feel fresh, etc.
Anyway try another place.

This was on one of my weekday lunch-outs with BF so we only had an hour and a half for office lunch break.

Their service took too long. Our food came around 45mins after we ordered. -111088

The food, though, wasn't bad. I ordered the Chicken Don. The serving was big, served on a huge bowl and stuffed with fluffy white rice with the yummy tender and juicy pieces of chicken placed on top, drizzled with the sweet sauce. I tried some of boyfie's tempura and I 128077d it. Light crisp coating and tenderly cooked shrimp inside.

I also love Rai Rai Ken's California Maki and I usually order that besides my meal set. 128522

If you are on a tight budget and just want a Japanese food fix, this is the place for you.. They have an offer: 50% off on any of their ramens.. You just need to order any of their appetizers plus a pitcher of a pepsi-product drink( but they would allow you to order a pitcher of iced tea instead if you'll ask)..

All in all, taste for its price and serving is ok..but for service, not much.. Waiters are not that attentive..

For some quick Japanese fix but on a budget, this can be one choice to visit. Although, there are times that when you need a waiter/waitress, they are nowhere to be found; you would have to wait for them to come out.

Other than that, a pretty decent place to have a Katasudon or Katsu Curry when you are a little conscious about your money.
