Good resto if you're trying to get your Japanese fix. Ramen is good. I love their salmon sashimi but it's quite pricey. Their butakakuni plain and salmon teriyaki is one of the best dishes they have once paired with the fried rice.

Went here today. Ordered the Classic California, Gyudon and Chicken Teriyaki with
A side order of Gohan. The california maki was great as usual but the gyudon was just plain bland. I had to ask for salt just so that it can have a tad bit of flavor.

My bestfriend and I went here to have dinner last night. When we arrived, some of the tables were not cleared yet of the previous customer's orders after eating and leaving the resto. We sat there and asked the servers to clean the table. We waited for around 5 minutes but they still did not clean the table. We asked them 3 times before they actually cleaned the table. To cut the story short, we have to ask more than twice for the servers to do what we asked. The food is good but the customer service is really slow! I would've come back here for the food but I really don't like how they treat their customers. Customer service is really poor!

sampled the kani salad, crunchy and california maki and tantanmen.

after ukkokei ramen, these dishes were no great shakes. the kani salad had too much mayo. the maki were soggy, as though the rice absorbed too much water, and the tantanmen, well, couldn't possibly be proper tantanmen.

it took forever to pay via credit.

thank god for great company. the antics of my loopy sisters made up for place's shortcomings.

My boyfriend and I tried Rai Rai Ken last week just to satisfy his craving for Japanese Food. Good thing there is Rai Rai Ken in the nearest mall possible from my house. We tried out the Telppanyaki Ramen and the Super California Maki with Salmon Salad Topping. (Prices were Php285.00 and Php110.00 respectively) The Ramen tasted "good". As in like it was "good as expected"..better than those japanese wannabe restos though. It's kind of legit. ;) (in my own opinion).. LOL. Haha!

BUT!!! When the sushi came in, (after we salivated ourselves as get to see how they prepare it!) oh my gosh! Like OMG!! My boyfriend described it as "party in your tastebuds!" All the taste it should have is there! You can taste the freshness of the salmon, the stickiness of the rice, the seaweed (orange stuff in a sushi) and the "ugh!" Taste of the wasabi!! It's just perfect! And i told myself to never forget to "Looloo" this!

THUMBS UP RAI RAI KEN! Definitely going back to try other dishes!

The servers were accomodating as well! (Plus points!)
