Holy Week and finding a place to eat is a struggle. Most are closed and the ones opened are packed. Good thing at past 8, they were still open to accept us.

Our experience was rather pleasing. With the 7 dishes we ordered all were relatively good. Serving size is a plus. However none really stood out. It’s a plus though that we only paid Php 2,150 for all we had.

One thing I noticed though is that a number of our dishes had one type of sauce.

It was a lazy wednesday afternoon.
My friend and I craved for Jap food so we settled with Rai Rai Ken.

Ordered for Katsudon (req for donburi sauce to be separated from rice and katsu and I specifically instructed the server to do so~ which i guess he didn't get, I even req for bulldog sauce so i thought you'll get what i wanna happen since you're a JAP RESTO SERVER.. but instead, katsu was served MIXED with donburi and bulldog sauce was NEVER served)
which is salty, so i didn't finish it at all.
Gyoza was OH-SO-GOOD and Cali Maki was OK.

The service is a bit poor (considering you were charged for the Service)
but all-in-all, even if food quality is so-so, i will still go back for my quick fix of JAP Food Cravings.. since i think we don't have a better option. 128529127857127843127833127844

The food was out fast! And they serve house tea!

Daughter was very surprised the Gyudon she ordered was above par. She was expecting fast food quality (because she didn't check the price and didn't pay for this meal). P245 ++ for that Gyudon definitely not a student price but Daughter must have thought that way since it's in most SMs. Price must be keeping most people away. Not too many customers.

Surprised too that the servings were quite filling! We were both stuffed before we finished our meals and had to ask for the leftover maki to be wrapped. They had a nice take out box for this. When we checked it at home, they've included three pairs of chopsticks, the soy sauce, wasabi and pickled radish!

Whenever I got home from manila my cousins and I dine here I love Japanese food,Comfort food at it's best I always order Spicy Seafood ramen, beef yakiniku teppanyaki, tonkatsudon, chicken donburi and many more don't remember some of the names maybe because I can only recall the names that I like..hehe I'm not much fan of cold&raw tasting food like the sushi and maki,But Andrew Zimmern says if you didn't like the food once you should try it the second time to really know if you hate it.Maybe I wasn't used to the taste.
