Although I was born in Iloilo, I don't know a single thing about this place except Iloilo Batchoy and Roberto's Siopao. Went around the office asking people about the places that serve good food. One of the highly suggested places was Ramboy's, said to be Aklan's best. What to try, Liempo.

So last weekend, I visited the nearest branch from my place together with my family.

SINIGANG NA BABOY
I wasn't feeling very well that day (thank you sa office works), so we decided to get a large of bowl of Sinigang na Baboy. The pork was tender and portions were pretty good. I like my sinigang to be "asim-kilig" but this was just mild. What I enjoyed though were the vegetables. Cooked really well.

LECHON MANOK
We ordered Liempo and Sinigang Baboy so we had to choose chicken naman. Tama na sa baboy 128512. Nothing special about this.

LIEMPO
Their liempo is like a conbination of Chashu and Chicharon. Love that the meat was tender and the skin was really crispy. It wasn't too greasy as well which is a plus. Tastewise, I think it's okay but with help from condiments, masarap na din.

Note: I was informed that wait time is 30 minutes to an Hour. Tama nga sila haha

No need for pictures. Try their limepo and you won't regret it! Their food are also reasonably priced. Their interior was okay, no aircondition but that's alright.

The best liempo I have ever tasted. Hands down!

Tip: Forget the sauce and dig in without it.

Liempo, sisig and crispy pata! All deadly. But you'll be swept to Cloud9 once you get a taste of 'em. Good thing you can always shed off a few of those nasty calories and cholesterol by enjoying a leisurely walk or jog at the adjacent Esplanade. :)

A huge plate full of sumptuous liempo, with very crispy skin, only at Php260! No wonder people from Manila buy their liempo as pasalubong.
