Inspite the intense heat of the sun a giant bowl of hot ramen is still my go-to food especially during flu season 128554

Mabo ramen 127836
Few slices of silken tofu mixed in with oriental herbs and spices infused in the hot and spicy soup with fresh noodles. Soup was slightly thick that as you slurp the noodles the soup would scatter around your lips 128523 tofu gave that mild flavor which balances the taste.

Their serving is huge you won't be able to order another dish unless you split the ramen with someone, also if you happened to love their soup you could request to get your bowl refilled with it but never forget the flavor you order as their soup varies depending on the flavor you ordered 128513

After going to Japan and had a taste of their ramens there, it's a whole another level alread! And I'm not exaggerating. To be fair, this is Ramen Cool. It aint cool anymore for my taste buds. Just for my appetite for Japanese food. Enough said.

As usual, I ordered ramen here with gyoza. The only thing I hate in Japan is their gyoza. It's not as big and tasty as it is here locally, like also here in Ramen Cool. Big difference. You'll definitely prefer it here. This time, I didn't get a Milo dinosaur for drinks. I just feasted myself with gyoza. Lots of it.

Finally tried their California love maki! We usually get gyoza as a side dish for a Ramen and we'll definitely try out other maki they offer 127858127843127833127860 #12Days

When I'm craving for Japanese food yet do not want to splurge a lot, I go to... Ramen Cool.

It’s not difficult to find this restaurant as it is situated along the busy intersection where the old Café Juanita used to be.

The place is quite cute. It has this hip Japanese café feel because of the glass dividers with cute prints on it. The servers were also very quick as they gave us the menu as soon as we arrived and offered us some cold house tea after we ordered.

My friend is not as gluttonous as I am so I was the one who ordered. I decided to go with: Beef Ramen (PHP215), Gyoza(PHP115), Clam Miso Soup (PHP60), Salmon Sashimi (PHP155), and Iced Coffee with Ice Cream (PHP110). I wanted to try the Kohi Ice (PHP130) as the server described it in a way that it is a must that you drink it but alas, it was not available.

The food was served quickly and first sent to our table was the clam miso soup.

The serving of clams was pretty generous and it was actually good for two people (on a diet). The taste was not as strong as the other miso soup I tried before and it was not salty at all. I actually liked it and it was a good appetizer.

The salmon sashimi cuts were pretty small but hey, for PHP155, it was a steal! It was also fresh and the type that melts in your mouth. Of course, it is not at par with those from super posh restaurants but this will do for salmon lovers on a budget. *Happiness*

The gyoza was your typical gyoza but bigger than the ones I’m used to. The meat was juicy and quite tasty and it was served really hot! (By hot I mean “piping hot”.)

We ordered the beef ramen simply because the server told us that it was one of their bestsellers (and as an official believer of what the servers recommend; I gave in).

The beef ramen though was not as good as I thought. The beef was thinly cut yet it was still a bit tough to eat. The noodles seemed store bought. The broth though was quite good and the serving was very generous. I was actually eying the seafood sukiyaki. Maybe I should have ordered that instead.

As for my iced coffee with ice cream, it was DEEEELIGHTFUL. It was pretty hot that day so this was one cooling treat. It wasn’t very sweet which was good because I find extremely sweet drinks not refreshing at all. It’ll just make me crave for water.

Overall, I’d still go back to try the seafood sukiyaki and order more salmon sashimi. Hopefully, Kohi Ice will be available by then.

Ate for here for the first time last weekend and we're sure to go back soon. Ramen serving is good for sharing. I ordered gyoza too and it was real good. We wanted to try everything at once upon seeing the menu. Interior is interesting, we loved it. As per the price, it's reasonable, the for sharing ramen is sulit.

My sister likes Ramen Cool's gyoza more than Hanamaruken's because they're more plump and have a juicier filling.

The spicy tuna mayo was so-so though

I tried the salmon miso ramen which was a bit too salty for my taste. The salmon was luckily grilled beautifully and added a beautiful flavor to the dish

I've been eating here for the nth time especially after work or if I want something budget friendly. Their interior will caught your attention plus the ambiance is kinda cozy. Their foods were just quite okay but they have a lot choices to choose from. I like their Sukiyaki, it was good and lots of ingredients. Tonkatsu and Katsu Curry Rice were just plain, nothing special. Tempura and their California Maki were quite good. But overall their foods were decent as well as the place.

had friday lunch here and i we were satisfied.

i tried the pork shioramen and it was okay. the noodles was meh and the broth was so so but the tamago and the chasyu were good! pork serving was generous and it was soft and tasty. the egg was cooked right.

the milo dinosaur was a hit for the bf.

i loved the tofu! it was sweet and spicy. the tofu was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside.

the pork fried rice was okay too.

the place was spacious. the servers were okay. our go to place whenever we have a japjap craving but don't want to splurge on our food.

No photo coz i forgot to bring my phone 128514

I always enjoy their California love (Php 195) because of the crab meat on top of the ordinary california maki. We tried their rice meals for the first time (tonkatsu curry-235 & tuma combi-225). There was no wow factor but it's ok.

Plus, kudos to this branch because they already fixed their AC :)))

i never really considered eating here coz i don't know if they really excel in any of the Japanese dish that they offer. the bf and i came here today since we want some japjap, nothing specific like katsu or maki.

upon entering i loved the decor. service was fast. complimentary tea was okay.

california love worked for me. yummy. i can taste the mangoes!

katsu was okay. cheap! it was juicy imho.

the gyoza was fat. lot's of veggies inside. not really outstanding but it was good enough.

i will definitely come back.

Good shit na Ramen for only 180 pesos tas ok rin yung gyoza nila 5pcs for 130 lang. Close to legit. I would rather eat here than other ramen places in Manila kasi usually 400 isa tas di mo pa maubos. Value for money. Nice location tas pwede mo pa i split yung ramen for 2 people. Well I'm not the type of person who can finish a bowl of Ramen. Big narin yung serving niya . Nice ambiance din.

Cheap ramens with huge servings. Salmon overload and Ebi tempura are a must-try for the side dishes.

It's my third time to eat here and we love it! We ordered a lot (and I mean a lot) and we only paid around 300-400 pesos.
Their ramens are way much cheaper than other ramen houses. Also, what we love the most are their gyoza, iced matcha and california love.

Would definitely recommend this :))

A budget friendly Japanese Resto in the heart of Kapitolyo.
I tried Seafood Ramen on an Ash Wednesday.
With a twist of Sashimi on the side, topping it off with some California Lovin' Maki. :)
