One of the old school Ramen joints that have been around way before the Ramen Boom. Japanese Nationals frequent the place especially during the wee hours of the morning with their "joiners" in tow. Nakakainggit 128548! Samantalang ako kakain mag-isa. 128514

Their Ramen is not the premium tasting tonkotsu type of Ramen theirs are more like traditional. But It's very refreshing lalo na pag lasing ka na 128514. The soup is not oily at all and has lots of vegetables in them. Lakas maka tanggal ng tama! 128513 at 3am this is a God Send! 128591

Edit: Also got a coupon for Free Ramen on the next visit. Could'nt read it though since it is written in Japanese. 128514

At 11pm, I was hungry and desperate for a steaming bowl of comfort. I've heard of a street side ramen place called Ehra's in Malate but was too scared to try the dirt cheap 60-peso ramen (baka literally dirty). Fortunately, a few meters ahead is this ramen joint that is open until 4am (don't ask me why but there are a lot of KTV/girlie bars in the area and their Japanese patrons so you do the math). For P200, the Ichiban ramen is a good (and cleaner) way to satisfy anyone's late-night craving for ramen. Basic Japanese fare - 1 piece of pork, al dente noodles and a simple shoyu-based broth; not as fancy as other places but still better than instant cup noodles.

Hole in the wall Japanese noodle place. Has plenty of Japanese patrons and serves authentic ramen. Look out of 50% off deals once a month.
