Gyoza set (Ramen Kuro + gyoza with rice) for P360? IKR! Value for money! Ramen for dad and gyoza for mom.
Craved for sashime but they don't have tuna or uni
so we ordered salmon sashime and we liked it! 128077🏼128077🏼
Ordered tempura for the kids (their favorite). A bit pricey but still ok.
Surprised to find out though that their ice tea costs P100 compared to their soda drinks which was P50 only. It was very refreshing though and my son finished two glasses lol
Parking at BF is always a problem so best to go early as the place can get full very fast.128526

Flashback to several years ago, the first time i ate here i wasnt that impressed. Disappointed actually. I remember ordering a ramen set with curry rice, thinking that i was getting katsu curry since thats what it looked like in the picture. What i got was literally curry sauce and rice (without any meat or vegetables).

Fast forward to 2015, i gave ramen kuroda another chance. Apparently, several branches (+ a more refined menu + even tastier ramen) later... i've been finding myself giving them more chances than Popoy and Basha! This place is gooood! I love their ramen sets now. You get a lot of bang for the buck for something under P500 -> ramen + tonkatsu, ramen + teriyaki bento set

My favorite variant of their ramen would have to be the spicy aka ramen. The spiciness isnt too overpowering so you still get to taste the tonkotsu with a hint of garlic. And they close late at night too! Around 10-11 i think. Perfect for a late night ramen run! 9786

Anthony and I were both feeling under the weather last weekend so we were craving for something hot and comforting.. Hmm, soup or noodles. So ramen for dinner!!!! 127836 This place has been around for a while already but we never really bothered trying this. But since we've already tried most of the ramen places in the area except for this, we went here. The place was still empty when we arrived but Japanese customers, mostly families, started arriving when we were almost done eating. Good sign? 128512

Instead of ordering separately, we had the Ramen Katsudon Set (420 + 10% service charge). The set comes with side salad, sweet potato, hot tea, a bowl of Pork Katsudon, and a ramen of your choice. We asked for their bestseller ramen but I forgot the name, sorry! It's the one with garlic! Lots of garlic!!! 128513 The food was just okay. Not omg goood, I'll eat here again soon. It's yay finally got to eat here, it was okay and now it's off my list and I won't be thinking about trying this place anymore kind. Hahaha! 128517128518128521

What's nice is that despite being a set, serving size of the katsudon and ramen is still the same with their regular "ala carte" order. Nice, right? 128513 So for the price, super sulit na!!! They have different sets to choose from. Ramen + Gyudon, Ramen + Ebi Tempura, Ramen + Gyoza. Price range is 350-450. Nothing over 500 pesos!! 128077🏼

Service was just weird. There were a lot of servers and parang oa lang na whenever we look at them accidentally, yung napandaan lang ng tingin, they'll approach you and ask what you need. Every corne kasi may server ata! 128517 Not that it's bad, OA lang siguro? Haha! 128563128518 Oh well.

I went here a couple of times with my girlfriend, the place did look authentic Japanese, I ordered the spicy Ramen, I loved it immediately.. I never liked Ramen before but right after Sandra told me you've got to try again, I had to try it even if we were both new to it. The spices were good and just right for my palette as I can take spice in a mid level. The place was spacious and decent. The second time we went here, i had a better experience,I had the Shiyo ramen, the one with garlic on it, I loved how simple and great it tasted, for a reasonable price you'd get full and happy. I have yet to try the other ramen choices they offer but if you're looking for a good ramen place this is a great option. I wasn't blown away but i found it good and decent for its price. After not having ramen in a very long time this place woke me up to appreciating Ramen so now I actually consider eating Ramen from time to time when I feel like, especially when the weather has been cold of late. I really dont mind coming back here but only on ocassion. If you live near aguirre this could be your ramen joint! This will be my ramen joint since it isnt so far in my area and I would be content knowing that Ramen Kuroda is nearby. But at the same tme I would honestly search for other Ramen places nearby if there is to seek out more variety.

Ramen date with hubby on a rainy Thursday night.

Thursday afternoon was our laundry day and we spent our wait and sampay mode together. Doing laundry is one of our favorite house chores. For us, it’s our bonding moment together apart from eating outside. Awww... gonna miss doing laundry with him.

So after doing the laundry, hubby asked me where I want to go for dinner. I wanted to try Bucky's Counter that's why we decided to go to BF that night. We went to Ramen Kuroda for one fine Ramen night.

Hubby ordered their set meal. Hubby's big stomach was filled and was satisfied by their Shiro Ramen + Ebi Fry + Rice. I took their Kuro Ramen and it was awesomely good. The goodness of this roasted garlic based ramen was so enjoyable. Ralph and I found our Ramen house already. Unlike other ramen, you won't taste any pork "lansa" from their ramen. We regret not trying this place sooner.

Twas a rainy afternoon and the Happy Pill was craving for ramen so instead of driving all the way to Molito because my wipers were busted, we ended up trying Kuroda's Ramen.

They had set meals that cost around P350 and that's not bad considering how much food they serve.

Their Shoyu Ramen was really nice and the gyoza was not bad either. I especially liked the fried rice that came with the katsu.

I usually go for the garlic flavor here and I'd say I like it better too but that just makes me acidic after and I don't even have a bad case of heart burn. So this time, I opted for the original flavor. Good thing it was yummy too. It wasn't too creamy and it didn't have a strong flavor but I like the simplicity of it. The chashu was ok though it isn't the melt-in-your-mouth kind but I liked it. The noodles were above average and we all noticed how the flavors improved since our last visit. Though I don't think kuroda stands a chance with other ramen houses, I still love that it's a decent one you can go to around the neighborhood. I also enjoy the fact they serve other items and not just ramen. I would also recommend the gyoza here and the red bean ice cream plus the rice balls, I enjoyed those a lot too128512

While other Ramen places only serve Ramen, this place serves the wonderful bowl of goodness plus typical japanese menu. I love it because the whole family can enjoy their fave japanese dishes while the grown-ups can satisfy their Ramen cravings. When you have children eating out is a family affair and a Ramen only menu makes my kids frown. But here they can have tempura and chicken teriyaki, their favorites.
The service is fast and efficient, the price is typical of other restaurants in the area, a bowl of Ramen with chashu costs Php 360, reasonably priced.
There is a reason why this place is always packed, its not only for the ramen but the other dishes are good as well.

Been a while since i posted a review! What we have here is the Shiro ramen 127836

This reminded me of Yushoken's Shio as they both have that milky and salty flavor. The noodles though! Kuroda's noodles are thinner and the broth didn't absorb much of the broth while Yushoken's are more flavorful.

There's also a cheaper Kuroda branch in RCBC Makati btw! 180 a bowl but smaller and has less ingredients too. Nonetheless, same good broth!

Ramen Kuroda offers set meals at affordable prices. They cost around P380 each. (But expect a 10% service charge!) We didn’t realize that we ordered a lot, not until the bill arrived and my mom was surprised at the amount due! Each of us ordered a set meal. I ordered the kuro ramen set meal with fried rice. The servings were generous, but I wasn’t happy with the taste of both the rice and the ramen. They tasted odd. However, I did like the Ebi Tempura, Tuna Sashimi, Salmon Sashimi, California Roll, and Salmon Roll. Ramen Kuroda was fine, but not worth the long drive to BF.

Kuroda San, please do not serve a badly cut overcooked half tamago straight out of the refrigerator and plop it into a ramen bowl and expect people to like it. Perhaps because you are not around that your chefs are wacky. The picture above is my bowl after i had the egg replaced. Still overdone but cut better.

If your tastebuds haven't been accustomed to the richer and overflowing umami flavors of other ramen places, the ramen at Kuroda is a light alternative. With only 5variants, the ramen is affordable and hearty. Tried their kuro ramen, a version of the shio ramen that is lightly spiced and milky, reminds me a bit of Santouka's. Noodles were firm but I was surprised by the garlicky goodness of the Aka Ramen.

tip: Order the ramen set and if you're going for seconds, they accommodate extra noodles (80 pesos) and extra soup (100 pesos).

I was so happy I found this place and my family has been a frequent customer ever since. It is our go to fix for our ramen cravings. Their kuro ramen is so good! We all love its rich garlicky tonkotsu flavor plus the noodles are just cooked perfectly. The pork meat is also tender and tastes delicious. The serving is big enough and it's only less than 300pesos which I think is a good value for money. If you're still not full, you can also ask for additional noodles for free but 1 time only. We have also tried their gyoza and kani salad, they were also good. It has spacious parking but gets filled quickly during peak hours so you better be early. I commend the parking attendant guy, he is quick to his feet and very helpful especially when you need to leave. The servers are quite attentive too, they are easy to call. There's really nothing bad I can say about Ramen Kuroda. Keep it up!
