First ever ramen house I’ve tried and been loyal since then. I love how affordable their ramens and cute their litte store is. You can feel the Japanese vibe by the interiors. Last year (2017) they can only accommodate not more than 15persons inside their shop but now with their newly renovated dining area alot can slurp ramens already. I hope they provide more replenishment choices like fresh juices.

The team were planning to go out for lunch and I decided to join them as I didn’t have my packed lunch that day. I was about to suggest to have lunch at Nama Nama, but I think everyone wanted some ramen from Kuroda. I’m already familiar with the place but never tried it.

Ramen Kuroda is built to offer genuine ramen experience on an affordable price. I got surprised that their average rating on the looloo app was 4 stars, which made me more curious to try it. I also thought that this would be an interesting experience although I’m not really that of a die-hard ramen fan.

The place was packed when we get in, but waiting time won’t take much of your time. Serving time was also fair - waited for less than 10 minutes to have all our orders completed.

I tried the Kuro Ramen that’s priced at PHP180. I was delighted by the garlicky broth with its firm noodles, and the generous serving of toppings. The egg was boiled perfectly like what other ramen places do, and the roast pork was tasty! If you want more roast pork, you’d need to add 50 pesos to get the Kuro Chashumen.

One of my colleagues tried the set meal that has ramen, rice meal, and gyoza. He liked everything except for the gyoza which he thought was dry and bland.

Overall, it’s good! For just 200 bucks or so, you can enjoy and experience quality ramen. With its 10 branches in Manila, no wonder why it becomes one of the best choices to have ramen whenever you want it.

CAN'T. GET. ENOUGH. RAMEN.

The Ramen craze started a few years ago and it's amazing how much its popularity has soared. So much so that every dang mall has at least one, two or sometimes three restaurants all serving this fantastic Japanese creation. And it's still going! I guess that's really a testament to the culinary expertise of the Japanese. If it's from Japan, it must be either crazy or crazy good.

To say that Ramen is delicious is an understatement. But probably the only real drawback I can see now is that it is pricey. All the top ramen places I've tried serve top quality noodles but at a premium price that will set you back at least 400-500 pesos, and that doesn't even include the appetizers and other dishes. Enter Ramen Kuroda.

This humble, little Ramen place features dishes at a fraction of the cost of those at Ramen Nagi or Ippudo. Usually, I'm a bit cautious when it comes to "cheap" food as that can also translate to low quality. Surprisingly, Ramen Kuroda does not disappoint.

At 180 php, you can enjoy a hot bowl of their Kuro Ramen which is Tonkotsu with roast garlic flavor. It's not as intricate or as dense as an Akamaru Special but it "gets the job done" so to speak. The broth is seasoned good enough that you can appreciate the garlic-ky flavor (I'm a garlic fan so this is important) and there's even a piece of chashu and half an egg on there. It won't blow away your taste buds but it doesn't let you down either. I would definitely pick this over anything served from that popular Japanese fastfood resto (hint: initials are T.T.).

So if you're craving for ramen but don't have the budget, don't be afraid to try out Ramen Kuroda.

I got a new work and I'm back on the day shift. I have food options not just because I'm working at a time when food establishments are open but also because I now work in Eastwood City. And the options are endless my lunchtime involves a lot of figuring out where to eat.

My officemates recommended Ramen Kuroda and swear that the ramen there is good and cheap. I didn' want to believe them having eaten in many ramen places in the country with less than satisfying ramen. But I gave it a shot and I'm glad that I did. I went for their spicy ramen and it was so good I can't believe it's only P180. The broth was thick and flavorful, I could taste a little bit of cheese although it may just be my tongue playing tricks on me. I would go as far as say that it tastes like the authentic ramen that I had in Japan. So yes, it's delicious and recently they even had an unli noodles promo that I asked for a second serving, it was pure joy.

I now officially have my favorite ramen place and I love that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The place is small but the food is great. The ramen is delicious and very affordable. You can eat a bowl of ramen for just php 180 and the taste is superb.

So, I've been craving much for ramen lately and I noticed that I always go back to Ramen Kuroda to satisfy my cravings. This also means that Ramen Kuroda indeed delivers a quality of authentic ramen that is very affordable.

This time, I ordered the Aka Ramen which is hot & spicy. To my surprise, the chili kicks in but it does not stay that long which is my problem with most spicy foods out there. I generally hate spicy food because it hurts my gums and the prolonged burning sensation makes me uncomfortable eating a supposed to be yummy food. Now, this one doesn't burn you but you'll feel that the spiciness truly kicks in then fades away.

I absolutely recommend trying this one. More on my blog www.wizardandi.com

I am being addicted to ramen currently and I stumbled upon this affordable ramen. I was not expecting for its affordable price (P180 and P230), but surprisingly, it is indeed flavorful. The rich pork broth that is perfect with the firm noodles and tender meat slices, it will surely fill your tummies with happiness. I can't believe at first that this affordable ramen could be on par with those popular ramen out there. They have attentive staff and the service is fast. You should put this on your bucket list if you are trying to taste every ramen around the metro.

My friends and I wanted to try this place after hearing about their budget-friendly ramen. The place was really small! We had to wait for a few minutes to get seated. I ordered the Kuro Ramen(P180) and did not expect a lot. Service was fast! Super. Since there were no expectations, I thought it was okay naman. It was not as flavorful as the others but hey, pwede na for the price! Ordered extra noodles because patay-gutom as usual. I am usually not able to finish one serving but because their serving size is smaller than other ramen places, I was able to finish it! 128076🏻

Overall, it was sulit na for a ramen na less than P200! OK na for a quick ramen fix.

Very affordable and the taste was not bad. The place was kinda cramped though. Unfortunately, when we visited the place there was an annoyingly loud customer so we cannot help overhearing her conversation. The service was excellent but it would probably best to just have your ramen to go.

Met up with a friend at Eastwood and he suggested Ramen Kuroda (also because it's near his office haha) 127836 I had this spicy ramen. For 180 pesos, the taste is sulit. There is a balance of flavor - meaning there is not one overwhelming taste on the dish. Perfect balance of spice, garlic, broth.

Mga bes tara na dito! BUDGET RAMEN! For me super okay niya, lalo na for the price. The broth was good, the noodles were okay, and the pork was tender and delicious.

I like that you have the option to go for one pork slice for 180PHP or four slices for 230PHP.

Don't expect Ippudo quality, expect half of that, for half the price. Haha! Good enough for me. :)

This is an affordable and decent ramen place.

Kuro Ramen - I like the essence and taste of roasted garlic on ramen. I requested for the noodles to be hard and they made it just how I wanted it to be. 128077

I just tried the Kuro Ramen. Only 180. I don't know if it was very delicious compared to other restaurants since this is my first ramen. However I like their noodles. Also, my friend says that the Aka Ramen (spicy) was not as spicy as what she had expected. The place was only only small but still good for affordable ramens.

I love the Authenticity of their Ramen.
and it is affordable like you can buy one big bowl for P180. It is as good as the first class restaurants. ★★★★
