Affordable, quick and accessible, that is Ramen Kuroda here at RCBC Plaza. This ramen place is such huge hit for tenants and non-tenants of the building. During rush hours, customers lined up outside to order and wait to be seated. Here's a quick review of this small ramen shop.

They offer three variety of ramen which cost P 180:

127836 Shio Ramen: Tonkotsu broth
127836 Kuro Ramen: Tonkotsu with roast garlic flavour
127836 Aka Ramen: Tonkotsu with spicy broth

My lunch is a bowl of aka ramen and gyoza. The broth of the aka ramen is really tasty, it was balanced, not too salty and not too spicy. Aside from another popular ramen place, this is the only ramen that I was able to finish its soup. It was good that they had changed on how they cook the egg. You can truly feel that they had learned how to present the ramen well. My gyoza is just as perfect as the ramen. I just wished the wrapper is much crispier on the outside but that's my personal preference though.

I would say that eating in Ramen Kuroda is a enjoyable experience. The servers are attentive as they make sure to offer you water to drink if you need to. The place is neat as they continuously buzz out bowls once a customer is done.

They also have other offerings. If you want to have more meat, they offer the Chashumen which cost P230. Additional toppings for the ramen are also available and side orders such as gyoza (P 100, 4pcs) is also available. You can also try Ramen Chahan Set for only P 320. The set is a combination of a ramen and fried rice. Rice menu is also available which includes Teriyaki Pork Don and Teriyaki Chicken Don to mention a few.

If you need to take a quick break and craving for authentic Japanese ramen, then head to Ramen Kuroda!

We've experienced the weirdest change in weather the past few weeks or days. One day it's raining, second it's not. It's as if the universe is confused of what it wants to do - pour a little rain or pour a little sunshine.... just like how I am every single day. Sunshine? Rain? Sunshine? Ice Cream? Soup? Coffee? Tea? Hot? Cold? I've had a fair share of bad days with the bad weather too. The semi rainy week gave me that urge to crave for ramen and it's been a huge craving since. I work in Makati CBD so I have pretty much all the options to satisfy the craving but never stepped out of the office to give in.

Since this week was just bad as I imagined it to be, I decided to choose my own weapon to have my own little sunshine and that is, to have ramen! I know the weather is not as warm/cold for me to give in this time but well, what can I do? It seemed that ramen can comfort me during my bad days.

I have tried numerous ramen places from cheap to expensive, name it, I (thought) have tried it all... not until I came across Ramen Kuroda. I have not heard of it before or I might've just ignored it. But this place offers quality ramen that's of value.

You get a good bowl of ramen for P180!!! If you want huge meat servings, then you can probably go for the more expensive one for P230. But again, the difference is just with the meat servings. The more expensive one has more meat than the cheaper one, all else are the same. Of course, this ramen is noticeably cheap as compared to other ramen places so you have to be fair when setting up the bars. Do not set it too high, nor too low.

The broth was pretty flavourful than I expected it to be. Honestly speaking, I underestimated this place at first because I always associate the quality of food with its price. I have gone to lots of ramen places and only one scored my heart so it's really hard for me to just trust newly introduced ramen places. But damn, this ramen is really good!!! And it wouldn't really be such a pain to give out P230 for a serving even if I'm running on strict budgeting because well, affordable ramen will always be a good alternative to the usual ramen places I go to. 10084️ #looloodronegiveaway

Cheap ramen under 200. Winner. Im terms of taste it was not bad for the price tag and im a regular here. It would be instant 4 stars coz its cheap but im trying to review this by throwing out the cost factor and focusing on the taste.

Hmmm... it was just an ok ramen. It taste different from other well known ramen place. Chasu is abit small though.

Ramen Kuroda FTW! I've been hearing a lot of good reviews from this ramen place and it's a good thing that I've tried it already. From an officemate's recommendation, I ordered the Kuro Ramen which is the Tonkotsu ramen with roast garlicky flavor. I was also opting to try Kuro Chashumen which contains more meat, but maybe next time.

My ramen was served after a few minutes from ordering. It was really good ramen. The garlic flavored soup was not too overpowering which made it really good. The noodles were hard which best pairs with the soup. For a very affordable price of Php 180, I was very happy with what I ate.

The ramen place closes at 9:30pm and is located at the 2nd floor of RCBC Tower

Kuro Ramen because it's #RamenWeather once again!

Taste127836: 127775127775127775 The noodles is ok but the soup is kinda weird. It feels like it is just diluted tonkotsu soup powder (just like what i always buy in grocery stores when I was in Japan).

Price🤑: 127775127775127775127775 Relatively cheap compared to other ramen shops like Ramen Nagi, Ippudo, etc. For P180, it is an easy fix for your ramen cravings.

Place127968127775127775127775 The place is quite small and bit hot. The place has a glass divider between the dining and kitchen so that you can see how they prepare your food, which kinda adds a traditonal Japanese ramen store vibe into it.

Well, all I can say is, you get what you pay for. Go here if you have a tight budget but I recommend to go for the high-end ones :)

Went with their aka ramen which is their spicy take on tonkotsu ramen. It was okay but what im happy here was their price which is just around 200 each. Though their ramen was quite chewy, taste of the tonkotsu soup was just okay. I personally prefer this spicy over the garlic flavor.

One rainy afternoon, after my appointment in Solaris one, i looked for a ramen place nearby and i found ramen kuroda.
I ordered the garlic flavored ramen for only php180. It was served right away, talk about fast service. Haha The soup was not garlicky at all and it was kinda bland for me. I had to put lots, as in lots of chili powder and chili oil, I almost finished half of it. Wahahaha The noodles were perfectly cooked and the chasu was flavorful and melts in your mouth good but it was sooo small. 128514128514128514 I should have ordered the large bowl. The egg was half soft boiled.128545128545Haha They also have an open kitchen wherein you can see how they do your ramen, and I saw one server who was not wearing gloves, note that she's the one putting the finishing toppings. Ermhergherd. 128564128564 The place is clean and the servers are attentive!

Not my first time to eat but to review yes. Always busy full of people lunch and dinner time. This is the only ramen resto that i want to return i like their ramen not so strong and i think they put a milk or coconut milk that makes the taste appealing to me. I tasted the spicy version and its also good the hotness is tolerable their price is also reasonable compare to other ramen bar. This rainy season its ramen kuroda all the way.

Well, when visiting the south i saw that there was a ramen kuroda there and its quite popular based on reviews but we all know which ramen joint it is a must in the south 128521 so i guess i had to try this out wherever im at venice mckinley or at makati. So on this rainy night i tried it out here, they close till 9 to 930pm and it was still full when i came here but im sure im one of their last orders.

I think their highlights are of 3 ramen flavors: 1. Plain tonkotsu 2. Tonkotsu with garlic flavor 3. Tonkotsu with spocy kick. Each of these has a respective chasu extra version. So i went for the tonkotsu with garlic ramen. The order was actually quick, as it didnt take a while before it arrive so that was good. But in terms of taste, the tonkontsu broth was a bit disappointment as i guess im used to certain flavors mendokoro, nagi, ippudo or just quite recently yushoken that i didnt find their tonkotsu soup much appealing as there was something missing, if im going to rate the soup it would be a 2 stars to be honest. So it was a best decision to go for garlic flavor as this would mask or add some kick into the tonkotsu that i didnt like much. Or rather next time go for the kara one since it was the majority order of the custimers there that night.

The egg wasnt that soft boiled version that i was expecting, buts thats fine. Chasu was just okay abit small serving. The noodle feels different when chewed upon. Cant explain it.

Interiors were quite good. They had extension tables to outside. The price ive learn was quite different from the one at paranaque and its at 180 a bowl. Not bad as this would generally be a normal mid range makati food price and very cheap for a ramen. I dont know if theres a difference of their ramen with the more expensive ones as compare to others branches but they had me for its price. Definitely a quick fix not so expensive ramen on this rainy weather. Sad i have to give this a 3 coz of other good ramen joints but i woild give this a plus .5 for being reasonably priced. 128522

Looking for an affordable Ramen? Try Ramen Kuroda.
Their standard Ramen costs P180 only, it comes with one chashu and egg. If you want a bigger serving, you can try their Chashumen which only costs P230.

I ordered their best seller - Kuro Chashumen where the serving of chashu is 300% larger. A deluxe bowl of ramen with lashings of thick, melt-in-the-mouth chashu. It was a good ramen, not as tasty as my previous Ramen expeditions but definitely not bad for a very affordable price. 128076🏻

Extras:

Egg - P30
Leek - P30
Noodles - P40
Gyoza - P100
Gyudon - P100

Their Aka Chashumen (P230) is not as spicy as I thought it would be. But the taste was ok, not remarkable but very filling for its price.

2 of my officemates introduced this ramen place to me which was nearby our office or just along ayala. It was just a small ramen place inside the rcbc building. They have a very short and simple menu.

According to their staff their best seller was the kuro chashumen which was just a basic kuro ramen (tonkotsu with roast garlic flavour) but with 3 more roast pork slices. since i was avoiding eating too much meat, it was my first here, i was on a budget and the kuro ramen and chashumen have the same base soup i order the kuro ramen. The kuro ramen costs 180 php while the chashumen was 230 php.

We first ordered at the counter outside before we got seated. I also noticed that extra leek or spring onions costs 30 php. Expensive huh? Anyway our order came at around 5mins.

The soup was served hot and it smelled good. Although i noticed it was a oily but the noodles were plenty. I added some sesame seeds which were free. The soup was a bit salty and garlicky. The soup also includes a half egg but the egg served on my soup was almost cooked, the yolk was not semi raw which was a bit disappointing as i like the yolk raw. The pork slice was not think but not very fatty which i liked.

But hey for a budget ramen this wasn't bad cause usually ramen costs 350+ on other restaurants. The staffs were also very proactive in refilling our water.
