Nagoya King!

Level 10 Spicy Ramen. You can really see lots of chili peppers and it's seeds on top of the ground pork. I had to take off some of it 128514.

Spicy lovers will love this specially this rainy season.

Pro-Tip: For this particular limited king, Ramen Nagi is offering free additional Soup to help ease the spiciness of the bowl. 128513

This restaurant is probably already my family's go-to place whenever we are craving for some ramen. Specially my son. Their noodles is perfect! And the broth? Ugh! It's D.I.V.I.N.E!

This week they made a ramen version of Thailand's famous soup, Tom Yum. Oh man, the moment I tasted the broth, I was lost for words. Yes, it is that YUMMY! Well, for me at least. :)

Thank you Ramen Nagi for always making my tummy happy and satisfied! :)

Whenever I am at MOA I don't think twice on where to eat. Ramen Nagi is really the place to be! I am in love with their Butao King-- just the original one!

I split a bowl with my friend for dinner and had some gyoza too!

Service is always great! 128588🏻128588🏻128588🏻 many thanks!

Tried their Tsukemen during this visit. I didn't expect that eating a Tsukemen is twice as hard as eating a traditional Ramen. For those that are not aware, A Tsukemen is a ramen dish wherein the noodles and the soup are served separately. The noodles are dipped in the soup in order to eat it.

The serving was large and the noodles are good for 2. Even though I am a huge ramen fan, I was not able to finish my bowl of noodles and soup. The soup comes with some shreds of pork, no need to order for an additional shoulder/belly since the pork shreds are already enough for your meal.

Nasal congestion but can't really drink meds because you're breastfeeding? Enter RED KING! Look at that color!!! (And gatipak ng bato pork belly)

I thank the Ramen Gods for this.

You can count on Ramen Nagi to bring you the right goodness of ramen. Just the right noodle hardness but don't count on me for the taste yet. My palates are still numb from all these mucus. 128512

Ramen Nagi is at it again with another weird combination. The Limited Mexican King! It's basically their Butao mixed with what seems to be Taco Ingredients and Guacamole on top. It's like eating a liquid version of Tacos. With noodles instead of shells. Try tasting the guacamole first before mixing-in because that's the only time you will be able to find it. There's also some liver (i think) that is part of the special sauce.

This one is great to try. It's just amazing how they are able to pull this off. I'm now eagerly waiting for a Bulalo King. 128513

As always it would be safe to check the "chef recommendations" box when trying out new stuff than tweaking it to max and regretting it after. 128513

My alltime fave Ramen in the metro 128523, been here many times but my first to post here in looloo. Tried different kinds of Ramen but mostly ate this Butao King Ramen and the cheapest one of them all which cost 390 pesos and can fill your hungry stomach. They had limited offer of Ramen and sorry forgot the name but with something in Ramen, a truffle. Someday i'll try it.

Original King Butao. 128070🏼

You can customize your order but this time I just trusted the chef's recommendation. It was good. I liked the broth, the meat, and the noodles.

Good News! Truffle King is back! Just in time for the Cold Holiday Season and the monsoons rocking the country. 127754

The Truffle incorporates very well with Ramen Nagi's rich tonkotsu broth. You can really taste the truffle and pork with every slurp. 128525

The Truffle King is so delicate that customizing your bowl might be a risk of radically changing the way it originally tastes. I'd recommend not putting spice, tamago and belly in your choices. Either way if you check "belly" they will serve it on a separate plate which isn't very appetizing. Tamago will add a more creamy texture but in turn will also add a lot of saltiness because of it's flavored nature. You would want to savor the mushroom flavor so keep it simple. 128522

Bad News: It's for a limited time only. Last time it didn't even last a month. Also it's P700++ a bowl. Probably because of the Truffle slices. But I don't mind because I love truffle! 128522

Woah! There was a line as early as 530 pm!

I 've been to their branches in Magnolia and Ermita and they didn't have lines there. We were 3rd which is not so bad. We had a good 10 minute wait. No way was I eating out, too noisy plus it was also drizzling!

Yep, the wait wasn't too bad. Ramen Nagi's Ramen is always worth the wait! Well, that's my opinion. We ordered 2 of their Butao! My absolute fave! It really never gets old no matter how many times I have tried it! I super love the broth and the meat ( shoulder)! It is also worth it to get the egg! Mmmm such a perfect combination! I also am addicted to their beansprouts. They are just so flavorful! Again, perfect to mix with your ramen!

Because of Typhoon Nona, it was a perfect perfect day for some Ramen!

Super fun when you ask the servers to take a pic of you guys haha they will scream something out. Kinda embarrassing but oh well. 128517128514

Perfect! Just perfect! I am curious to try their limited edition Truffle Ramen( 700php) that's next on my list!

Had my usual Butao King here last weekend since my friend wants to try here. We both didn't finished our bowls since we got full already! Still one of the best ramen house in the town but this branch is small and so there's always a waiting customers outside. And i still prefer my own table (because all their tables are for sharing) 128540

I have ranked this low not because of the food but because of the serving time.

I invited my friends from Cebu to try this restaurant, since Ramen Nagi is still not available in Cebu. We were a group of four, and I noticed that one of our orders didn't arrive along with the other orders (this should be followed strictly to all restaurants). We tried to follow-up with our order a numerous times. So we just shared our food to my friend, since she was hungry already. Just when we followed up again for the nth time, the waiter realized that they haven't placed the order, so he just apologized and said that they are now prioritizing the order. And when the food arrived, my friend who was waiting for the order didn't enjoyed her food. Since she was full already from eating our shared food.

One rule that all restaurants should follow is that serve food at the same time!

Oh, yes it's been a while Nagi...it has been more than a year actually since I last had you. 128514 Kasi ikaw eh, I could still remember what i wrote on my last review, Aura branch. 128513
But the good thing is, bumawi naman ako sa rate ko now. Kasi upon entering the store they now announced to the clients the no-take-out policy! At least I know I really had to finish my bowl whether I like it or not. May matira man, kasalanan ko na di ba!?!

And since hubby wasn't here in the country during the past year, I didn't brave dining here alone at baka malungkot lang ako. But now, a week before my Birthday we were with his mom and so we decided to give her my advance birthday treat...isa pa she hasn't tried this Ramen yet, eh almost everyday she's eating out and loves Japanese food!

So we were happy to introduce it to her. She's on her 70's but still allowed to eat this kind of stuff. We let her choose how she likes her Ramen to taste. The staffs and the Manager kept asking us how much we liked the food. They're all nice and pleasant to us. 9786️

I liked mine (Butao) 390/bowl with Pork Belly, Cabbage, Normal soft Noodles, spicy level at 1 and rich in Garlic!
Oh how I missed this best tasting soup! Super linamnam ng sabaw, yun lang I cannot really manage to finish the whole serving, kaya si hubs kawawa, forced to finish half of my Ramen. 128513
Mom left her Senior card, wahaha, we weren't able to avail her discount sana. 128540 She btw, liked the Tamago (P60) that we ordered.

Anyways, it's good to be back here once again.
Too bad, I've experienced headache the very next morning due to the high cholesterol the soup contains. 128557

So after being gone to a long hiatus from Looloo, I had thought of posting some new entries from the places I've dined and visited. Took a long break from reviewing places because of my newly installed braces just this year. I thought this will limit me to eat my heart out but, as what my friends have told me, I learned to eat with them on.

Anyway, for my first comeback review: Ramen Nagi

Spent my birthday dinner here with the partner. I always have a space in my heart for Nagi. It is quite expensive for just one bowl (good for one person, or my stomach at least) but the quality really makes up for it and thus, I sort of told my myself that this would be my reward during or after only a special event (or maybe when I'm just really hungry and craving for Ramen).

The Butao always is the safest yet the most gratifying one. The taste is not too overpowering, and I love how you can play its taste between plain and spicy.

The Black King is what my partner ordered. The taste was stronger than Butao's and even the Red King's but not too strong too not finish the bowl! It has the garlic-ky taste that I love.

Nagi never fails. Would always leave the place with a happy belly. I also noticed that the staff were less enthusiastic but it's okay.

Limited Black TanTanMen..

Sorry but I didn't like this one at all. All I tasted from it was spicy. Plus it was too thick to be called soup.

Tried to eat it but stopped 1/4 of the way. I just can't get anything off it. Just a Spicy Black gunk. That's it. 128549

BTW: I do have a tolerance for spice so it wasn't the spiciness that stopped me. It's the thick black gunk of nothing.
