127836Cheesy Caldereta Ramen - Php 440 (Chef Reco)
Right off the bat i would say that this has got to be my least favorite among the 3 although this was the one I was eagerly anticipating. It has the Caldereta taste pero medyo kapos. The Butao base overpowers it making the Caldereta flavor just a hint. There will be times that you will lose that Caldereta essence and the bowl will become saltier as you get to middle and then dead sea towards the end (I didn't get to finish mine 128531)

The vegetables kinda reminded me of their Mexican King. This one tasted a wee bit similar.128513

The cheese makes the soup suuuper creamy (check my IG for the vid 128513📽127836). It really sticks to the noodles which was perfect!

Again, they used what seems to be Lechon Kawali or Bagnet. So crunchy and sinful. Ang sarap! But it leaves me wondering; What if they used Beef with Fat instead? I can only imagine. 128525

Overall I would say Not Bad, but not as great as the first two. Good to try since it will run for a limited time only.

127836Bicol Express Ramen127836
Chili Lovers, don't even hesitate. Yung mga mahilig pumapak ng sili dyan! Sugoood naaa! Oo isa ka na dun Sandy P 128514 Til July 20 lang ito

Automatically, the bowl is rated as 5 Spicy. That is until you mix in all that chili on top then you get hell 128293128514 (I assume). Ok na ko sa 5 spicy kaya I opted to removed all the chili on top 9996128517. We even made a separate bowl and mixed in 3 parts Butao and 1 part BicolEx enough to numb it down so the wifey can enjoy as well.

It's like eating a soupy version of BicolEx with "Gata" and all. There is even a hint of "Bagoong" going on as I saw traces of tiny shrimp towards the bottom. Your mind will be like: why are there noodles in my BicolEx?🤔 You might even end up ordering extra rice for the leftover soup. 128522

I forgot to ask what the pork was though, I only assumed it to be their take on Bagnet as it was crunchy up to the skin.

Bilib na talaga ako sa Butao Base nila. 128525 so far both Manila Kings have been quite similar in taste profile being both with Coconut Milk and Bagoong, the next one is quite different though and I am excited 128513

Up next: Kaldereta Ramen

Availlable from July 1-10 only 128561

Unexpectedly good! I am no fan of Bagoong, however, this one didn't have an in your face intense Bagoong Flavor. Walang lansa whatsoever. But one sip and you'll know it has bagoong alright 128513. It is also accompanied by a dollop of Coconut Milk that adds flavor and texture. I wonder if they allow for extra serving of coconut milk 🤔 masarap siya eh.

And their take on Lechon Kawali.. Maaaan! Super tender with Crunchy Skin still!!!

Now I am hyped with the other two upcoming Filipino Kings 128525

‼️L I M I T E D R A M E N A L E R T‼️

If you love crabs then stop what you are doing and head over to the nearest Ramen Nagi. THIS IS NOT A DRILL 128514

🦀CRAB KING🦀
Deep fried softshell crab resting on top of a bed of Nori 128525 Quite clever to keep the crunchy crab from sinking to the depths of it's own essence. But, after a few moments of gorging at this immensely flavorful bowl, the inevitable is going to happen. The softshell crab will end up soaked in it's juices 128514 Still partly crunchy but now with a more intense crabby taste! I would advise to finish this bowl quickly as it can get quite salty and the umay factor might kick in prematurely. I tried to balance it off by dunking a bowl of plain rice. PANALO! 128525

Craving satisfied.

They actually moved to a new location. Still south but on the other side.

Their store is a lot bigger. Thank goodness because sometimes I would dine outside because their store could only fit about 20 people?

Now they have much more seating areas ( indoor)

Service was pretty quick and I went for their butao king ( original ), without thinking twice. It simply is the best out there.

Super yum! It never gets old! I really love the flavor of the broth and the tenderness and succulent pork shoulder that came along with it.

Will definitely be back for more !

I actually love trying out japanese restaurants/ramen houses. The authentic savory taste of its broth keeps me on craving for ramen.

For ramen nagi, taste was good. Service was excellent, accommodating staffs and very fast food seving. We odered butao king which is their best seller, flavorful broth, the pork belly is so rich in taste and tender. The place was not that very attractive compared to their other braches which i saw on the net. Their space was too narrow. Overall food experience was ok.

127836 BLACK GARLIC KING 127836

☑️ Chef Recommendation for the Settings

I don't know why they called it Black Garlic King. Aside from the toasted Garlic sprinkled on top, I didn't get to sample even a hint of garlic on the soup. Had to crush some more on the side to get my garlic kick. 128532

I also asked for Cold Tea but they gave me Cold Water instead. 128532

Not too happy with this visit. Probably a fluke since I was the first customer at 10am.

Ramen Nagi's Chashu Rice was just okay. The rice, mixed in special sauce tasted good but the roasted pork was bland. The wasabi mayo was overpowering. 128547

Easily one of my top choices in Ramen. 128525

Butao just goes really well with the truffle flavor. Not much to customize on this one since the veggies are defaulted to Cabbage and shoulder part for the meat, which is understandable since truffle is a delicate flavor, Onions and Pork Belly might taint the overall profile of the soup. Just go for super rich everything to really enjoy the bowl. Real Truffle slices also give you the complete Truffle experience which, unfortunately, makes the bowl waaay more expensive at P700++ per bowl.. ... ...wait... did they just change the price to P590?! I didn't notice it during the past visits since I don't browse the menu anymore. That's a big slash from the original price. I wonder if it's the same in the other branches.. I'll have to check.. Soon.. 9996128514

Nagoya King!

Level 10 Spicy Ramen. You can really see lots of chili peppers and it's seeds on top of the ground pork. I had to take off some of it 128514.

Spicy lovers will love this specially this rainy season.

Pro-Tip: For this particular limited king, Ramen Nagi is offering free additional Soup to help ease the spiciness of the bowl. 128513

This restaurant is probably already my family's go-to place whenever we are craving for some ramen. Specially my son. Their noodles is perfect! And the broth? Ugh! It's D.I.V.I.N.E!

This week they made a ramen version of Thailand's famous soup, Tom Yum. Oh man, the moment I tasted the broth, I was lost for words. Yes, it is that YUMMY! Well, for me at least. :)

Thank you Ramen Nagi for always making my tummy happy and satisfied! :)

Whenever I am at MOA I don't think twice on where to eat. Ramen Nagi is really the place to be! I am in love with their Butao King-- just the original one!

I split a bowl with my friend for dinner and had some gyoza too!

Service is always great! 128588🏻128588🏻128588🏻 many thanks!

Tried their Tsukemen during this visit. I didn't expect that eating a Tsukemen is twice as hard as eating a traditional Ramen. For those that are not aware, A Tsukemen is a ramen dish wherein the noodles and the soup are served separately. The noodles are dipped in the soup in order to eat it.

The serving was large and the noodles are good for 2. Even though I am a huge ramen fan, I was not able to finish my bowl of noodles and soup. The soup comes with some shreds of pork, no need to order for an additional shoulder/belly since the pork shreds are already enough for your meal.

Nasal congestion but can't really drink meds because you're breastfeeding? Enter RED KING! Look at that color!!! (And gatipak ng bato pork belly)

I thank the Ramen Gods for this.

You can count on Ramen Nagi to bring you the right goodness of ramen. Just the right noodle hardness but don't count on me for the taste yet. My palates are still numb from all these mucus. 128512

Ramen Nagi is at it again with another weird combination. The Limited Mexican King! It's basically their Butao mixed with what seems to be Taco Ingredients and Guacamole on top. It's like eating a liquid version of Tacos. With noodles instead of shells. Try tasting the guacamole first before mixing-in because that's the only time you will be able to find it. There's also some liver (i think) that is part of the special sauce.

This one is great to try. It's just amazing how they are able to pull this off. I'm now eagerly waiting for a Bulalo King. 128513

As always it would be safe to check the "chef recommendations" box when trying out new stuff than tweaking it to max and regretting it after. 128513

My alltime fave Ramen in the metro 128523, been here many times but my first to post here in looloo. Tried different kinds of Ramen but mostly ate this Butao King Ramen and the cheapest one of them all which cost 390 pesos and can fill your hungry stomach. They had limited offer of Ramen and sorry forgot the name but with something in Ramen, a truffle. Someday i'll try it.
