Prepare yourselves to smell like food after going out of the restaurant.

The pares glazed chicken was quite affordable for P220.00 for 10pcs. They are very generous with the sauce. Half of the pail was filled with it.

They don't offer plain rice, but the java rice is good enough. It just costs P25.00 only.

Beef pares is not delectable. The serving is too small. The pares lomi is way too salty.

Money-wise, just try their chicken and siomai. Both are affordable and delicious. No more, no less.

Work errands in a place I hardly visit calls for lunch in a restaurant unique to the area.

The first thing you'll notice is all the pick up/hugot lines doodled across one side of the wall. Some old timers but mostly new amusing ones which would surely start conversations.

Pares, wings and ribs were written underneath the resto's name on the menu. I assumed that these were their specialties but I couldn't find the ribs on the menu. Apparently, they stopped serving it already.

Hubby was excited when he saw the Beef Pares and ordered the one with Isaw. The beef was very soft and tender. The sauce was sweet. The Turmeric Rice was decent.

I had the Pares Glazed Wings which were very crunchy. I liked the parts that didn't have sauce since it was sweet.

I'm a sucker for fish balks so a big serving of the Street Food Platter was in order. Would have preferred this crunchier. Some parts were mushy on the inside. The diluted sauce was sweet too so I made my own soy-vinegar dipping sauce w/ a touch of their extremely spicy chili garlic dip.

Overall, the food was ok, prices are very reasonable, seating is a bit tight, service was great but this isn't something I would travel all the way to QC for.

I love the concept of sriracha mansi glazed wings, but there is no glaze on the items served to us. There is an imbalance coat of jufran hot sauce or a standard hot sauce on the wings. They should formulate a real glaze where they will dunk the wings and then serve it. Their sisig is not sizzling and tasted bland. Their ice coffee is a big joke, instant white nescafe over diluted with ice. They should just put extra sugar or 2 packs of nescafe sachets.

Had a variety of food in the menu. Personal favorites are the Pares and Sriracha-mansi wings.

Pares closely resembles the one you can find in Retiro or some good Pares carinderias around the metro. A bit sweet but still good. They did a good job in balancing the salt, pepper, and star anise. Mix it up with their in-house chili sauce to add some kick.

Sriracha-mansi has this nice spicy and sour blend. Could have been better if you can adjust the spice level.

Their ribs were cooked to an almost perfect tender state. Easy to cut and chew but lacks a little flavor. It comes with real mashed potato which I rarely encounter as some just use mashed potato mix.

We also got the sizzling tinola. Nice twist but I couldn't taste the tinola in it. A little more green papaya and ginger would perhaps enhance the tinola flavor.

All in all it was a great experience eating at this place. Nice vibe. Great for barkada hangouts. Prices are reasonable. Plus kudos to great music and clean comfort room.
