I had an arroz caldo and halo halo...liked both, but the wait was a bit long.

If you have a car, parking is a bit of a pain.

The sizzling bulalo and pancit luglug are not as good as before. The bulalo could've been more tender, and the pancit seemed to lack some toppings, like before when I chew on the pancit there'd be a crunch from the crushed chicharon, but it's barely there anymore. :(

It's nice that they finally made a jr. version of the halo halo tho! They should've done it a long time ago!!! Hehe I find it a little too sweet now, but it's always exciting to go back to an old favorite. 128522

Just because you're popular and in the food business for some time doesn't mean your professional. This will be the very first time that I will place a picture that is non-food. The fact that there were 2 available parking slots and the guard insisted that somebody has "reserved" the slot to somebody and that I park in the pay parking (which was a bit far). Was so pissed that I decided to dine elsewhere despite the pregnant wife and 3yr old eating inside already after waiting for me from the very slow service of a bank nearby. Since we were in a rush the wifey just had the food taken out. Ate the sisig filled with fats and bland lechon kawali which I fed to my happy dogs.

Has Razon's gone mad? Do these guards think they can get away with this? Will they even have good food? Not to be biased but our restaurants service and food (and if you have the time to read our blog reviews on the Facebook page of Gabe's our Halo-Halo is way better than theirs) is a gazillion times better. We wouldn't be called by Unang Hirit (GMA 7) or written by When in Manila if we're just small fry. Customers who leave messages on the board is another source of proof. Just stating the facts! So whoever is that VIP person with the reserved parking slot hope you enjoy your meal there. To the owner of that place good luck with the business. You are definitely going to loose customers. One of the worst experience in a popular restaurant where they have favorite customers!128078🏻128545

After our very superb dinner, we brought our balikbayan here for dessert. She absolutely loved the famous halo-halo of Razon's. 128077128077128077

Halo halo on a rainy cold night? WHY NOT! 128522128149

After our dinner at Bahay Ligaya, we decided to go to Razon's for our dessert (nuks, Filipino din ang dessert). 128513128584 Place wasn't crowded, we arrived here around 8:30pm. Servers greeted us cheerfully! Ahhhh I love happy servers. 128513

We ordered their halo-halo-- macapuno, banana, leche flan. Very different from those typical halo-halo. Easy to mix and we also asked for additional ice since we find it too sweet for our liking. Hehe. 127848

I've been craving for sisig the whole week, so today I finally decided to get some in Razon's. Aaahhh always hits the spot. 128076 I also had some halo-halo to beat the heat. I like having my halo-halo while having my meal hehe combination of hot-cold-savory-sweet mmmmmmm! Then I got some pancit luglug but didn't even get half way cause I was just takaw mata. Oops

The servers were super energetic. They have a line to greet you with when you enter and another one when you're leaving. Cute!

It's the famous Razon's in Pampanga. Love how they served Sisig, umamilicious! Salisbury steak is just good, Burger with fries is ok. But the winner is their Halo-halo! 128523128521127839

Teaching an out of town guest the joys of halo halo. He wasn't too sure about the multi colored version so we took him to Razon's for the old-fashioned kind. And he loves it

Merienda earlier today. I'm forever in love with their halo-halo. The shaved ice is perfect for their halo-halo. The sahog is minimalist so it's perfect. I've never liked OA toppings for my halo-halo.

The pancit luglug is killer. It's so yummy. 128513 but i remember the Serving being bigger before.

The surprise of the day was their puto. It's soooo good. It reminded me of the special puto my Tita would make. It's exactly like it. 128540

But razons price have been going up year on year. I remember when it was just getting popular that the price for a luglug and a halohalo would be 145 or 150 for both already. Now the halo-halo alone is 95. Price hike! I blame inflation. Haha. 128561

The perfect dessert after a hefty meal128077

I still think they're the best halo-halo in town. Perfectly shaven ice, not too much sahog, and goat's milk. Perfect 128513

Their puto is to die for as well 128540

I have never tried the sizzling bulalo til today but have heard of it countless times that I should try it. It did not disappoint. :) the mushroom / cream sauce was too much though. I think next time I would like to order with the sauce on the side. It tasted all milky and creamy and made the dish a bit too rich but not in a good way. I think a simpler version sans the sauce will make it even better.

What's a trip to razon's without getting their halo-halo? Still one of the top place to get a nice cold fix. :)

Menu is simple and straightforward. This time I only had their halo halo which is classic and to die for....just Saba, macapuno, milk and shaved ice! Just perfect the way it is.

Also love their sisig! Truly Kapampangan!

Halo-halo from Razon's never disappoints. Great dessert. Don't hesitate to have one. Best enjoyed when you have one just for the heck of it.
