This is my go-to place for a quick merienda after getting my haircut. The halo-halo isn't pretentious which makes it endearing as it evokes childhood memories of summer at grandmas place. My fave too is the dinuguan at puto. But alas, service is lackluster and could be slow. There was one cashier who wouldn't even look at me while I placed my order that I had to repeat it to get her attention. Oh well, some days. 128522

I've eaten here thrice already and these are the things I've proven:

Nothing beats the Filipinos' Halo-Halo (especially Razon's) and their food are obviously homemade! Razon's is a financially-friendly restaurant cause it serves a satisfying amount at such a low price. HOWEVER, the Service was slow; I ordered a Halo-Halo for Take Out and it took them 30 minutes to get it ready. I didn't know that crushing ice and mixing ingredients took THAT long. Also, the place is a little suffocating specifically the first floor. You can see the staff crowding by the counter and there's like A LOT OF THEM. Lastly, they lack parking space, it's not enough for people who actually loves dining here.

The place is a little bit small and they have a limited parking slot. However, the food there are great.

Just a reminder that Banawe ave. is a busy street, specially Saturday, because of some car owners who are trying to look for any car accessories or have their car fix.

Craving for some Filipino Cuisine from Pampangga? This is the place for you! Razon's is already a known restaurant in Manila, so let me just share with you my experience. :) The Banawe branch is a bit small, but then they serve the food faster. My favorite dishes there are the 3 sizzling plates, their sizzling bulalo, which is bulalo (bone marrow of a cow + beef!) with some creamy gravy-like sauce, sizzling bangus (milk fish), which is just any ordinary bangus but topped with lots of garlic & of course their sizzling sisig! These 3 are definitely the highlights of their menu but don't forget their halo-halo! Their halo-halo is simpler that the normal one, it includes banana, coconut, leche flan, milk, beans, and shaved ice. It's simplicity makes it delicious! :) Try it out! Hope you enjoyed reading my review!

(this happened a long time ago, so I couldn't remember anything anymore)

RAZON'S HALOHALO (95 Php)
Caramelized bananas, and macapuno under super finely crushed ice generously topped with milk. Their halohalo is a classic. Super simple yet the taste is beyond its simplicity.

Razon's halo halo remains one of the best halo halo I've had. They use fresh carabao's milk to make that rich creamy milky halo halo best mixed with sweet banana and macapuno 128525

It's a bit too sweet for my liking but it's always a joy to dig my spoon into the crushed ice and mix all the sweet goodies up 128077
