True to its name, Real, Quezon, is real! Everything wonderful, spectacular, and awesome (descriptives not even enough) nature has to offer is here, from mountains, hills, waterfalls (here and there), the open sea, and of course fresh seafood!
One has to experience the place before one can fully appreciate Real. If you want to have a long cold dip or swim, you can walk around and hike to go to a number of waterfalls in the area. There's one near D' Aplaya Surf Camp where there's no entrance fee and not yet names, i think, so not much go there. If you are a big group and you'd like a place for yourselves, the hike (sort of) will be worth it. We also went to the Nonoc Falls which is a paid one, and cottages have been put up in the place so it gets crowded during the day. Regardless of where you go to, the water is refreshingly cold so it just depends on your preference.
On the opposite side of the road is the long beach of Real. Several beach and surf camps have been put up so there are a lot of places to stay for nights and be amazed by the vastness of the blue seas.
You'll never run out of places to go to. And a visit here will surely be one for the books!

Waterfalls, surf and skate spots! skated here downhilll and tried the waterfalls near the side of the road. Always bring your own cooking gears, tent, sleeping bags. Recommended place to camp, surf camp just after the long bridge. Leave Manila early around 5am be there at around 830am. Fun in the sand near the river mouth. Perfect overnight place. 2day rural experience.
