Don't make reviews often but the bad overall experience prompted me to give a 1 star

Spent the whole afternoon yesterday sleeping so when we woke up past 7pm, we were extremely hungry. Since this is just near the boyfriend's house, we drove there right away to see if they really offer good food (I've read somewhere that this place is a must-try in Banawe area).

The man got rib eye steak while I ordered ribs and their strawberry milkshake. Honestly, I find their food yummy. I like the taste and flavor of their ribs but I think it's a bit pricey than others. For all we know, Rub and Casa Verde offer delicious ribs at a more affordable price. For the steak, it's juicy and big serving! Tama lang yung price nya for the ribeye but I hope next time, mas damihan nila yung rice kasi ang konti! Anyhow, here's my most interesting find, the super yummy strawberry milkshake. I instantly fell in love with the right amount of sweetness of this. Not too much, parang medyo hahabulin mo yung lasa. Makes me think of Big Scoop's strawberry ice cream! And yeah, even the boyfriend liked it too.

Overall, our experience here was good. Waiting time was just around 10-12mins and can't say anything really bad about their food. I'm giving this resto 4 stars only because of their small space. Location is accessible but the restaurant itself is too small. I think they only got 5 tables and super tabi-tabi lang.

P.s.
Since I was in a cray-cray mood yesterday because of my hormones, I decided to order a slice of their mango cake for take out. Boy, it's so yummy! I finished it in less than 5mins. The only downside of it was, it's kinda expensive. Nonetheless, I'm still recommending this place. Doesn't hurt to try, right? ;)

To have been included in one website's < http://ph.phonebooky.com/blog/15-restaurant-finds-in-banawe-worth-visiting/ > Top 15 food spots in Banawe may have helped a bit in this restaurant's reputation, as people walking in already have high expectations with a 4-star average rating in Looloo.

For its price, their steaks are on the expensive side. One could have gotten a better bang for their buck at San Juan's Everything At Steak, which is the closest place I can think of in terms of quality of food.

Their appetizers are all made from supermarket-bought sauces, which is a huge letdown. The steaks are chewy and rather too thin. Service is poor: the wait staff had to offer too much options after getting a response from the previous selection. This could be easily remedied by including the multiple variants in their menu.

I won't come back here, that's for sure.

the soup is amazingggggg! creamy and full of flavor. potato soup paired with toast.. while waiting for our orders we were given roasted nuts for nibbling. 128524 only thing is the place is small, they only have 5 tables. There's another branch though in bambang near haligue.. might want to try their red baron porter challenge. 700g of steak, 3 sides and a rice for 3mins.. 128514

Red Baron is a simple and small steak house at D. Tuazon, near Banawe. Yes, it's located in (or beside?) a car wash, making it not a usual place to dine at. 128513 really really small because i think it can only have maybe 20 people or less? not too comfortable for big guys like me. 128517128517128517

Their steak's quality is somehow reasonable for its price. We got the Rib Eye Steak and TW Steak each for only 280-300 bucks. Pretty cheap so my expectations were not that high.

Both steak were really tasty. I was quite disappointed with my TW steak, which was basically sirloin meat, because it was tough to chew. As for the rub, I chose the honey garlic while my sister got the original one. Good thing I did not get that and did not believe the lady with the 'mild spicy' she was claiming it to be. 128514 We added around 30php to make the rice into a side dish instead. The Sweet Mashed Potato was really really sweet. I found it weird and wasn't able to finish it. 128531 The potato salad was okay. The mayo flavor, i found too overpowering. I am confident they used Lady's Choice. 128531128517128517 we requested for medium done rib eye steak and it arrived medium well. the meat again was not too warm and (again) tough to chew. It was also unevenly cooked because there were pinkish and reddish parts. 128513

It was nice that they served us peanuts to keep us busy while waiting for our order though. 128517128517 service was okay. The waiters kept on (accidentally) bumping on me due to the small space. 128518

Rib eye steak was good! The gravy...superb! Also had some Buffalo wings which was delicious too! Waited around 20 minutes but was definitely worth the wait (it helped that we were served roasted peanuts for free) .

We found this very small restaurant inside a carwash compound. Luckily, it was a Tuesday night so there was no crowd to compete with the seats.

There were quite a lot of choices from the menu but I didn't bother to order an appetizer anymore. I wanted the Ribeye Steak and I just know I wouldn't finish it along with a bowl of nachos or mozzarella sticks. It's funny how I took it out on the steak knife for being dull only to find out on my first bite that it should be meat to blame! I fell in love with the taste but I did not order an herbed-bubblegum! 128548 Every chew was a struggle. 128555 Good thing it wasn't one of those horribly overpriced steaks. I guess you just get what you pay for huh 128584

Aside from their Ribs and Steaks they have good burgers too! Tried the Rise and Shine Burger (Php198). The place is small but okay for a hangout.

After leaving Monster Bites, I already had burgers on my mind... Bf and I couldn't think of any new place to go to, so we ended up at Red Baron...

I know that I have already tried theie burgers before, so I don't really know what changed. I somehow think that it's not a pure Angus beef patty. It tastes diffefent to me and not in a good way. My bf thought that his Rise&Shine burger was okay. At least the service was fast and place was really clean...128522

I ordered this Angus Foie Gras Burger but with no toppings and sauce on the side. I ordered this plain to be able to taste the juiciness of the patty together with the softness of the foie gras. But of course I don't expect the same foie gras that would melt in your mouth, it tasted good, but still i felt that the patty lacked seasoning. To think that this burger costs around 500+ pesos, it was quick te unreasonable for me, maybe I should stick to their steaks next time!

With a variety of steaks they have, i chose to try their burger instead. I ordered their Hawaiian Luau Burger with sauce on the side. It was a so so for me, I felt that the bbq sauce was lacking. I didn't taste it every time I took a bite, the patty itself lacked seasoning which resulted to a very bland taste. Their choice of burger bun was also different, it was like eating a pandesal bread. But still for its size and prize, I think it's already reasonable. Will post more food I ordered here soon!

So glad that I was able to try this resto. Finally. We went there for late lunch on Mother's Day and we have enjoyed everything. The staff is attentive and polite. Nuts served for appetizer's salty yummy. The Nachorrific is a must-try that you can also enjoy it even without toppings. My mom enjoyed her Monster Burger. Serving's good for 2 people. The Lamb Steak with Old English sauce is my favorite. Sooo good for the price of 299. Served with the equally yummy mac & cheese, which I chose for my side dish. Will definitely come back. Sarap! :)

Credits to my friend Alds who took this photo of his order. I didn't have a good camera at that time.
I went here last week to try out their steaks since I've learned from a local show that they serve great steaks at a reasonable price.
My friend and I tried out their rib eye steaks. I had mine with Mediterranean rub and cooked medium rare. While my friend had the old English rub kind. They served it with sweet mashed potato and rice. And those steamed peanuts too as appetizers.
I loved my steak! The meat was tender and juicy! The Mediterranean rub was a mix of spicy and tangy that went well with the sweet mashed potato. I appreciate their version of mashed potato. My friend told me that the Old English rub in medium done steak was good as well and tastes well sans gravy.

Service was fast during our visit since it was a Monday at dinner time. There were only two groups around. Their place was small, I guess they could do something about it since they have growing number of patrons. I jus did not like their dim lights, it was kind of hard to see especially when you are at the back part of their resto.

We ordered ribs and rib eye steak.
Rib eye steak was cheap, big and yummy but I cannot say the same for the ribs. Maybe would try their burgers next time. No high chairs though.

Drove over here with some of my friends for a quick after-work dinner. The place is literally beside/inside? a car wash area haha. It's pretty small, too. it houses only about 5 small tables, which you can stick together depending on the size of your group.

We had the nachos as an appetizer. They were pretty good, drenched in sauces and meat. Yum! They also serve you a jar of peanuts each so you can munch on something while waiting for your food. For the main course, I had the rib-eye steak for about 285 pesos I think, while my friends had the ribs. For the sides, we had the rice, mashed potato, pork and beans and the potato salad. I had the honey-garlic rub for my steak. The best side-dish was the potato salad! Everything else was ordinary or overdosed on flavor (the mashed potato was too sweet!). Both the rib and steak dishes were fairly tender. For dessert, we had their "fried milk" which was basically custard rolled in wrapper and fried "turon"-style. Not something I'd get again though.

Went to eat here on a Sunday evening. Read here on looloo that the food was good and I wanted to try it with my family.

We each ordered the rib eye steak and we loved it. Although, the mashed potato side was sweet. I tried the new spice that they have, salt and pepper with different herbs. And most of my family tried either the mediterranean rub or the other one. My brother's gf ordered the ribs and they said it was good too.

We also ordered milkshakes but most of the milkshakes arrived when we were about to finish eating.

The staff was attentive and very nice. Gave us good recommendations.

We all ordered the rib-eye steak. It was good and the serving was filling! Presentation was also nice, the food was on a stone plate. Service was also fast. Overall it's a great alternative to the usual casual dining steak places like Everything at Steak.

The place is only small and quite dim but a good hole-in-the-wall neighborhood find. Will definitely come back!
