Hubby and I braved touching and encountering endangered and wild animals from this place. It's as educational and interesting as Paradizoo (well, the owner is just the same, as well as Zoobic in Subic). They have similarities in what to offer to the people. Both are good for family with kids and groups of students not just to learn but to have fun, gain friends, be entertained and have a chance to experience something that you don't usually just get in an ordinary everyday life.

I'm talking about seeing baby Tigers and have a picture with them, Encountering Owls and Lions, Cockatoo, Big Spiders, Snakes and more!!!
We actually enjoyed watching the show in the afternoon presenting their trained dogs, cats, guinea pigs, monkeys and so on. I really think they're funny and entertaining. Nakakatawa and scary at the same time! I commend them for the effort of the hosts, the music and effects that they used during the show and training the animals and pets to showcase their talents to visitors like us!

At the dining area of the restaurant inside, they served us Puto Bumbong during Mama's meeting with the owner. How I wish I had the strength to ride the Zipline! Free pa kami that time but I wasn't sure I'm brave enough! 9996🏽️128561

And I wouldn't forget the amazing view of the Taal Lake and Tagaytay! Truly magnificent!!!

We pass by this area in Tagaytay all the time but I never suspected it for a zoo. It's not an all-out zoo, but it does have a variety of "wild" animals like tigers, lions, camels, snakes, and so forth. The place does not look so well-kept and it makes me feel sorry for animals especially the tigers and lions. Also not all parts of the place were fully-operational. They have a restaurant area that had a really nice view of the lake but the food available was limited and there were a lot of empty unmanned food carts.

We were able to try the zipline but it didn't have the most exciting route. Having the lake for a backdrop was nice though!

What I did enjoy about this place were their hourly(?) animal shows. The staff were well-trained (so were the animals, haha) and they had very engaging activities requiring audience participation.

Overall, this was just an okay experience. If you also have a ticket to Paradizoo they have a (free) ride that will take you there.

Had this so called "animal encounter" activity for my nephew's birthday!127873127881

Entrance fee is P250 per head, much lower yung rate sa kids nalimutan ko lang.9996️Well maintained naman yung place visually128064, perfect for picture taking128247. Expect lang na mabaho kasi puro animals nandun at malakas yung hangin sa tagaytay so sakit sa ilong galore talaga!!!128067 haha!

When it comes to the animals na present, marami pero kulang sa variety. Parang puro unggoy at tigre yung nandun.128018128047haha! Buti nalang cute yung owl.128064 haha!

IMO, not worth it yung P250 na entrance fee pero keri na rin basta naenjoy ng kids and they learned something na rin. Yay!128512

We finally managed to get to their restaurant while it was still open! On at least 2 occasions, we tried to have dinner here after work, having driven all the way from Makati, only to be turned away because the restaurant closes at 8 pm. So, yesterday we left the office early, around 5 pm (I hope none of the partners are reading this), and arrived a quarter past 7. Whew!

We sat by the veranda (with windchill and the fresh scent of horse poop wafting around us) and ordered bulalo, fried tawilis, and crispy pata. The bulalo was flavorful and the hot broth was perfect for the cold weather. It was good, but not the best I've tasted. My mom makes the best bulalo, I promise. My officemates asked that the tawilis be re-fried to make it really crispy, which goes really well with the bulalo. I can't say much about the crispy pata because the part I got was mostly bone and fat, and with 9 other hungry officemates you don't get a second chance at crispy pata. I thought it was a pretty good deal given that we each paid only P300 and there were still some bulalo left over.

The only zoo down south with quite a number of species! At P250, you can find tigers, lions, a camel, ostriches, monkeys, a donkey and quite a number of birds. Oh and they do have a good number of spiders and snakes as well!

We loved their short show where they ask volunteers from the audience to touch a variety of animals - snakes (including a 7-foot python), an iguana, African roaches, etc...and have a picture with them too!

Couple of weeks ago, we went to tagaytay and one of the places we visited was this Zoo. Actually it's an inn with a zoo or maybe the other way? LOL. The zoo itself is quite small and the place where the big animals are located are really really small. We felt bad for the tigers, lions, and etc. their cages are really small. There was a tiger who roams in circle in his less than 20sqm cage. The place for the arachnids and reptiles are quite fine. Since they need smaller spaces than the bigger animals. They also have this "Cable car" which looks so unsafe. Who on earth would ride that thing?! Lol! I am not against zoos as long as the animals are well taken care of. In this case, you judge. 128516

Zipline & cable car in a refreshing cold weather!! Not as steep as most adventurers want but here you enjoy the ride with a very fantastic view of taal volcano and its surrounding lake and mini forest. Entrance fee is 350php where there is a mini zoo to roam, perfect for little ones. Only price is separated for a ride of zip. You can do wall climbing and horse back riding for 100php next to the parking area. A nice place to go for a short weekend break in Manila.

We just bumped in here for an overnight stay cause we all felt like dead tired after the foodtrip and some roadtrip. It was quite off that there's no even lights around the area so we don't know where we could enter. So we just enter on where we thought was the entrance (and we just learned that it was the exit by the morning). The way up was 128534128534128534 'goodluck sa gulong'!!! Too many rocks and not even a flat surface and friendly for small cars.

They didn't have any 'matinong' parking space so we just parked somewhere under the trees, near the horses' lair

The room was okay for 5 people, so no worries about it. The facilities were okay, not what I've expected though. 128513 What just made me like this place was their zoo. It was fun to hang around and walk to catch some animals in their cage. It feels like being young again, like you're in a field trip during elementary days. 128512128512128512 They also have zipline, and some mascott shows as well. You can also find looooots of souvenirs shops everywhere!

Overall, we've enjoyed our stay and kids will surely love this place! 128526128526128526
