The surge of restaurants and the food industry as a whole could easily be felt today. They are sprouting around like mushrooms, these establishments can be found anywhere. We took awhile to find Rib City’s second branch from its first in Maginhawa. This one is located inside Pioneer Highlands North, on its upper ground. Its visibility while driving is almost none and one could use exceptional directional skills to find it right away. In our case, thanks to asking the guards around the area. Parking is a task too!

If you have a desire for ribs, Rib City hears you. Their All You Can Eat promotion dubbed Surf and Turf for just Php 458 per person should give you a loud bang. You get unlimited ribs, wings, tempura, sides and drinks and it’s available all day every day. It’s a real value for money deal and I suggest coming here really famished and maybe a gym workout too?

The Ribs alone are worth your while. It’s flavorful all the way to its bones, no hard bites only tender feels. The tempura and fried chicken are decent choices and the sides a nice addition to balance out the meal. Go eat some vegetables okay?

Andrea “Aya” Margarita Maria Gonzales, the owner accompanied us on this sponsored trip and she also served us tasty Korean Soy Garlic Wing It; Artisan Ribs, a deconstructed plate of pulled rib shreds with well spiced barbecue sauce; fresh Tangy Shrimp Salad and a tall thick, really yummy Nutella Milkshake.

According to Aya the place gets packed mostly at night. I did see why when my foodie friends went. Let me know what you think when you go? 🙂

We opted for their Big City Mix which was a combination of ribs, 4 awesome wings, 4 side eats and 4 drinks. Since we were only three that night, we just had them served those colorful and refreshing iced tea choices. If you’re not into tea, you could also have this mix with some soft drinks. We tried their CTY Rice which could be likened to java rice. Its flavor wasn’t that strong but I guess that’s okay. It could take away the highlight from the paired tasty meats. I did like their Mashed ‘Tato which was just creamy and delectable. There was no need for gravy on that one. As for the chicken, it was really good. It was fried well with having that crunchy exterior and juicy meat inside. For the main dish, their ribs were definitely GOOD. Wait, scratch that. GREAT. Just great! 128512 Call me biased for loving ribs or anything with barbecue but I kid you not when I say it was really good. It was very tender that it was easy to take the meat off the bone. The marinade, which was the recipe of the owner’s dad, had that right tangy flavor. As much as I loved slathering it with more bbq sauce, it was good without that. 128539

Their Not Just Nachos are definitely not your ordinary nachos. It was one flavorful starter to get the bonding going. Not sure how the meat was prepared on this but it veered from the usual ground meat type. That’s the one that stood out for me as it made this dish extraordinary.

Would you believe we still had room for dessert? When these two were placed on the table, you can’t help but take a bite. The Decadent Brownie a la Mode really lived up to being decadent. I liked how the ice cream balanced the sweetness of the brownie. Surprisingly, I preferred their White Toblerone Cheesecake. I am not really a fan of white chocolate because it tends to be really sweet. But this one surprisingly wasn’t. If compared to the other dessert, this wasn’t as sweet as that one. I guess it was balanced by the cheesecake. Overall, both were good sweets to end your rib city journey here. 128521

Visited this branch the other week because of their Unlimited Chicken, Ribs and Sides offering! For only Php349/pax on weekdays and Php399/pax on weekends, you could order unlimited serving of their Chicken, Ribs, sides, and even the iced tea was refillable too!

Rib and chicken serving was hefty that we were only able to reorder once. The meat wasn't that tender, but their special rib sauce made up for it!!! Make sure to pair it with their CTY Rice (java rice!). Surprisingly, I ate more than my boyfriend for the first time. #lol

What made this promo even more worthy for us was their sides too! You could order any of their sides as much as you can. Add ons or sides are Php48 per order and here are the choices:

🔸Pesto Pasta (my favorite!)
🔸Corn Cobette and Veg
🔸Eggplant Fritters
🔸Baked Beans
🔸Cajun Coleslaw
🔸Garlic Mushrooms
🔸Thin Fries (#TDF!!!!)
🔸Mashed 'Tato

At first, I wanted to try each side, BUT NOT UNTIL we had the Thin Fries. Our world literally started to revolve around it! We lost count on how many refills we had! It was seasoned with garlic and basil and hell, we wished they were not thin. Lol.
I had 2 orders of their pesto pasta and it was tasty and good I wish I had extra tummy! Haha. See, sides pa lang sulit na!

We've tried their Maginhawa Branch before, but I would go for this branch next time. It's more cozy, and there is one spot there that I loved the most. The place could be crowdy during lunch time because most of the people from nearby offices eat here. I suggest you go as soon as they are open to enjoy the place by yourselves. :) Also, they had their menu as a wall-art here that you could also use as your background for your OOTD post. Each corner was absolutely instagram-worthy and pinteresting.128525128525128525 The staff were also attentive and accommodating. 128522128522128522Thanks to boyfie for bringing me here. 128518128518128518

EDIT: They also offer unlimited coffee for only Php138! Calling all the coffee addicts out there! Lol!

Hurry!!! I heard this promo got extended until today!!! :)

The pioneer branch had better interiors but poor air conditioning.

We got their saucy roast chicken, ribs pesto, baked potatoes and fries.

Shoe string fries are a no for me and the watery bland sour cream sauce needs improvement. All the rest were good and filling.

Quick Team Lunch. Since our shift was very complicated it was literally quick dinner for us midshift peeps didn't enjoy the food because we have just 1 hour to make chitchat and eat. It was located at GT Tower 2 near our office. Hihi. Food was okay. Will be try again with my BF.
