Know where to find these? Two of my favorite desserts in one!!! Waaaah! That is Oreo Mango Float from Rico's! 128525128525128525

I immediately noticed this from their menu and didn't think twice ordering it! Cookies n Cream is my favorite flavor jn every dessert and Mango Float is one of my favorite desserts! 1 glass for Php110 is already good for sharing, but for me, one glass isn't enough! I even finished my brother's. Hahaha!!! 128520128520128520

My eyes literally twinkled when the crew was about to serve it in our table. I droooooled by its layers filled with oreo bits and real mango slices alternately. So gorgeous and suuuper summerlicious! I felt like super sulit na agad my first visit in Cebu! Not to mention the Lechon..128555128555128555

Now I realize why there are a lot of foodies in Cebu. I'll make sure to be back here on my very next visit. Super worth it! Anyone knows where I can find something like this here in MNL??? #cheers #sweetnessismyweakness #heavenly #nofilter

My family loves lechon sooooo much!! 128055 Can't leave Cebu without eating lechon and we will always aways bring "some" home. This is a must in Cebu! A Cebu trip won't be complete without eating Lechon! And dried mangoes and chicharon from CarCar? 128521128518There are a lot of lechon places here but we'll always buy here at Rico's. Our Cebuano friends also like Rico's. It's the best lechon!!!!!128076🏼 Kahit walang sauce, the meat is very tasty and flavorful on its own. And the skin, gahhhh super crispy!! 128588🏼 Not a fan of lechon but it's really masarap! 128055

We ordered for pasalubong and for personal consumption, as well. 128518 One kilo is worth 595 pesos. Since they don't get to eat lechon this good and yummy and flavorful all the time, the price is sulit na! They also have the spicy version but nothing beats the original. 128518

This was the first lechon resto we've tried in Cebu City and I must say, the spicy lechon hits the spot. Never mind the balat, savor the sobrang linamnam laman! Mapapakanin ka sa sarap!

I read from reviews that it must be paired with their munggo. Forget this. Just go for the lechon! The munggo is somewhat regular. Something I can even whip up at home.

As testament to the yumminess of this lechon, they run out of order as early as 1pm. Good thing we arrived at 1130.

When we've tried the lechon from Zubuchon, it was then that I realized what I may criticize with Rico's. Rico's pork is not as tender as theirs. However, I would still go for Rico's in terms of taste.

Cebu is known for its lechon and a trip to the land of La Marea is not complete without a trip to a restaurant that specializes in lechon. This time around, we visited Rico’s Lechon.

Hello, Rico’s Lechon!

The place was packed when we arrived. We had to wait for about 20 minutes before getting a table. And this was on a Monday with the restaurant not even being near offices. It must be really popular like CnT, I thought.

We were famished when we sat down so we immediately ordered Baked Scallops (PHP180) and half kilo lechon (PHP310). R also got Watermelon Shake (PHP70) while I tried the Halo-Halo shake (PHP110).

First served was the baked scallops and I must say, it was a generous serving of scallops! If I order it here in Manila, I would only get around 7-8 scallops.

I loved that it was buttery and it had a hint of garlic taste. The scallops itself was fresh.

Next served was the lechon. And yes, they do not serve sauce like Mang Tomas to accompany the crunchy roasted pig. Instead, Cebuanos dip it in soy sauce. (You may also add other condiments or pepper for extra flavor.)

It was… okay. The skin wasn’t as crunchy and there were some parts of the lechon that were tough and hard to chew. It wasn’t spectacular and I still prefer Pepita’s lechon. Even ArroZeria’s cochinillo’s better. Or perhaps I just expected too much after seeing the packed restaurant on a weekday.

On the other hand, the drinks were refreshing. I loved my halo-halo drink. It was like drinking melted halo-halo flavored ice cream.

They say, you're Cebu experience wouldn't be complete if you haven't tried their famous Lechon. In Cebu, I think there are 3 well-known lechon restaurants to dine in. I already tried these three lechon resto, namely: CnT lechon, Zubuchon, and Rico's. During our trip to Cebu this year, we tried Rico's. I find the taste of their lechon as typical lechon. For me nothing's so much special to it. But it taste good. Lechon is lechon and everybody loves lechooon :) maybe I'm expecting something special on my tastebud. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

Diet is imposiible when you have this lechon is front of you. So far this is the best lechon for me not too salty unlike others and the meat is so tender. This is my first time in Rico's but dor sure not the last I make sure everytime i visit cebu i will eat here. The place is clean , good service, friendly staff and price is ok.

Cebu Lechon and Ngohiong, 2 of my favorite Cebuano delicacies! 128522128522128522 And Rico's Lechon makes them goooood! 128525128525128525

I had to come from Mactan all the way to Cebu City to entertain a guest from Spain for lunch. I arrived quite late, around 3pm. My guest wanted to try the Cebu Lechon and so I brought him here. It was a late lunch and yet the place still had a lot of customers. 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

We got the original flavor as my guest was not a fan of spicy food, hence no spicy lechon for us. Frankly I think lunch is the best time to eat here because they usually run out of this sinful goody for dinner. (So sad, but true. 128557)

Paired the lechon with the only-in-Cebu double fried version of lumpia, Ngohiong which my guest and I also enjoyed very much. 128516128516128516 Their single order rice comes in cup-sized calderos which was just adorable!

All in all, Rico's is definitely one awesome Cebu Lechon joint. In all honesty, I really couldn't tell which should be famed "the best Cebu Lechon" because the recipe is quite consistent in the whole island. 127775127775127775127775127775

It was a cold, Monday evening when we drove all the way to golden limbo - THE place of euphoria for your tastebuds and sinfully satisfied stomach, and sweet poison for your heart.

Souls stained by Rico scream spicy lechon and I kid you not when I say it's a serious!killer - soaked in spice without the sour aftertaste; the red meat by itself is a trophy; the skin - ahh, crispy enough for a textured thrill in your mouth.

"Lechon sisig" whines the dwellers, it's not just scraps of meat afterall. Tasty insides, in shreds; mixed with fried skin and diced chili peppers scattered to plate. The grease is calling for more rice!

Scallops, finally - bathed in bloody cheese and tormented with scorching butter and garlic that subtly bites your tongue - the intriguing savior

Take me to Paradiso.
I see the light, now that my nape of my neck is aching like Inferno.

*Zubuchon is a different canto.

LOOve,
B

The best Lechon in Cebu for me!!!128525

After the craziness happened in Boracay we have connecting flight in Cebu before heading back to Manila.

I brought my friends here to have late lunch. I think they're the only lechon restaurant that has spicy lechon 128522 definitely must try when in Cebu!

Can't wait to go back next year for the Sinulog festival. 128522

This place was actually recommended to me by one of my cebuano friends so we decided to have it on our last day. Place is a bit packed for lunch btw.
Just tried their regular Lechon (1/4 kilo), a lot of people were recommending the spicy kind but I'm not one for spicy stuff. 2 servings of rice, soda and adobong kangkong. 400 total!
Actually liked this a bit better than zubuchon because the skin was a bit salty and not too crisp ala Chicharon. If and when we go back to cebu maybe I'll try the spicy kind ü
Place was just a bit too Spartan for me, less one star. Oh no bathroom too.

Seriously awesome Cebu Lechon if not one of the top 3...first time I tried this & it's love at first bite ... So tender , so savory... No part that's too salty , no part over cooked ... The whole pig was roast to perfection inspite of it being on the big. Side.. I think I ate 1-2 kilos all by myself or more128560128561128055128055... OH NO!!!!128148 ... Skin was crisp & crunchy ... & not much fat under the skin ... Must try when in Cebu

Whole baby Letchon delivered to our lunch at AA's ... Said to be the best in Cebu

Skin was great... But it's not something I crave or eat ... The meat though succulent was a tad too salty this time ... So I just had a little ... Said they will just order a better one for tonight ... Haha... Omg 128055128061128055

Been hearing a lot of raves about this spicy lechon. It was really spicy but goes well wuth their suka sawsawan. Also had their regular lechon, also good. But some parts of the lechon skin was makunat..sayang. We had chopsuey to go with the lechon, it was ok nothing special.

But it's still CNT Lechon for me! It's tastier and more tender.
