Owned by Italians who decided to make Malapascua Island their home, we ate here twice and their pizza is absolutely delicious!

We ordered the Napoli pizza which is anchovies with capers, cheese of course with Italian salami cooked on a stone wood fired oven - can't get anymore authentic than that!

The pizza wasn't oily, powdery with the dough and did I already say that it was good? It was a late lunch our 2nd time there so we only had the pizza. For dessert, we ordered their home made ice cream which was also very good!

The owner surely knows what they're doing. Very FEW places in Manila can compare to the pizza quality, perhaps along the levels of C!

Angelina's is one of the most recommended restaurants to visit while you're in the island. I didn't hesitate to drop by and splurge a little more than usual to eat here.

Servings are HUGE, and I think the steep food prices are justified just because the food they serve are really tasty. I don't recall exactly what the names of the food are, but I recall ordering the following:
- Penne arrabiata
- Penne doused in pomodoro and black olives
- squid ink spaghetti with chopped squid
- spinach ravioli
- prosciutto and Gorgonzola pizza
- their house specialty pizza (whose name eludes me... I just recall it having an egg on it haha)
- strawberry gelato

The arrabiata was delicious, though very spicy. The pomodoro, for me, was more likable. My favorites, however, were the squid ink pasta, and the prosciutto pizza. The other dishes were delicious but I think so much was going on that's why I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped to :)) the Strawberry gelato was super refreshing! And a scoop will only cost you Php 55.

Budget per head is around Php 350 to 500 so make sure to bring extra moolah to splurge :)

Day 2 • Lunch:
Top left - Tosca panini (filling was forgettable but the homemade bread was not)
Top right - Homemade sausage (always have loved homemade sausages, therefore, I'm biased)
Middle - Gnocchi gratinati w/ bolognese (I would give Angelina 10 ✩s just for this dish, it's that good!)
Bottom left - Affogato al Caffe (vanilla w/ chocolate chips drowned in really good espresso)
Bottom right - Chocolate panna cotta & crema catalana (the panna cotta serving was too small & the crema catalana wasn't successful)

Day 1 • Dinner:
Top left - Insalata di bufala
Top right - Napoli pizza
Bottom right - cappuccino
*meals come with homemade bread, which is dense enough to soak up all of the sauces or meat juices.

Day 1 • Lunch:
Top left - Spaghetti al nero di seppia (squid was cooked perfectly but the squid ink pasta came from a pack, dish was a little dry)
Top right - Fagottini di carne alla pizzaiola (one of their best sellers, beef was a bit tough, great flavours)
Bottom left - Risotto salsiccia e broccoli (I didn't enjoy this dish and it was salty)
Bottom right - Panna cotta al caffe (it was falling apart and didn't like the texture but flavor was good, made with Italian coffee)
*a bit pricey but still worth it
*wish the cooking was more consistent though
*service was fast and efficient
