A boutique Historic Hotel in the Heart ❣ of Manila
The Rizal Park Hotel was the Army Navy Club before . To give you a history ...
The Army and Navy Club Manila was founded and organized in December 1898. The first president was Col. Smith of California. Notable persons who became its presidents were Adm. George Dewey, General Arthur MacArthur, Jr. and his son Douglas MacArthur, and Leonard Wood.
July 26, 2017 marks the historic return of the old Army and Navy Club as the new Rizal Park Hotel, which can now be considered as a vital piece of the Philippines’ national pride and history. The hotel maintained the building’s original character but added more modern facilities and amenities available to the public.
The hotel features 110 beautifully designed rooms with unique colonial-era design that takes its guests to a trip down memory lane in pure comfort, luxury and bliss. It also has fully-equipped entertainment facilities such as a spa, a coffee shop, a sky bar, a courtyard, function halls, a gym, a casino, marina, and a restaurant – Café Rizal – offering delectable creations with Chinese fine dining.
Guests are in for a nonpareil gastronomic experience at the hotel’s state-of-the art open-theatre show kitchen that offers a new twist of international cuisine with the fusion of classic and modern flair that creates a sumptuous buffet spread, partnered with a special ala carte menu.
The Rizal Park Hotel stays true to its motto of offering its guests an experience of “History In Style”. By mixing the old with the new, the Rizal Park Hotel is a symbol for a new generation of Filipinos who value their rich cultural heritage but also promote economic progress and development for the country.

I had the opportunity to stay in this luxurious hotel along with my friend. We had both stayed at their Deluxe King Room which was also facing the bay. We were able to witness the most amazing views of the sunsets right from our hotel room! Our Deluxe King Room was luckily on a promo rate of only P3,600 for two people and it was also complete with a complimentary plated breakfast.
The hotel offers a wide range of different types of hotel rooms such as a standard room, army navy suite, premier suite, etc. Our room was spacious enough and the interiors were absolutely stunning. It felt like entering a European hotel. The décor was classic. The room has private corners with a high back rest chair and your own wall lamp. It also came with coffee choices and a kettle. The colors were cool and the prints on the tiles were beautiful. Overall, the hotel and its room’s façade was gorgeous.
Our complimentary plated breakfast came with a few choices namely Longganisa, Tocino and Daing na Bangus. We both had the opportunity to try all the choices and I have to say that my favorites were definitely the Tocino and Daing na Bangus. The Longganisa, on the other hand, was okay but it could have been better. The breakfast also came with a choice of tea, juice or coffee. For those of you who love to indulge in hearty meals during your vacation, the hotel also has a restaurant that provides a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast buffet which is aroung P850 has various types of food including an egg station, cereals, tapas, sushi (yes, sushi!) and even dim sum. All the while, their lunch buffet is priced at P1,250 and serves dishes from different types of cuisines such as Filipino, Chinese and Mediterranean. Lastly, their dinner buffet at P1,900 serves mouth-watering dishes like prime rib, rib eye, turkey, prawns and crabs cooked with different styles. The restaurant also offers a la carte dishes which have a starting price of around P280.
The hotel, right now, has a couple of facilities that are available for checked-in guests. There is a wellness spa and a casino right by the café. There’s also a planetarium which you can go to and is available in packages the hotel offers.
If you feel like exploring the area, there are numerous things that you can do to fully enjoy your vacation. Feel like taking through the Philippines’ history? Take a tour of Intramuros on bikes or Fort San Antonio Abad near Rizal Park and ride a Calesa to complete the experience. You may also visit Quirino Grandstand if you’re up for going on a walk or jog. If you feel like seeing Manila’s best sea creatures, head on over to Manila Ocean Park and try their sunset bar. Museo Pambata, San Agustin Museum, National Art Gallery and the National Museum are also close by in case you want to drop by. Cruise along Roxas Boulevard, experience the Manila life and take a side tour to the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Various restaurants and malls are also nearby, like Mall of Asia, Robinsons Place Mall, Binondo, Mabuhay Restop and Rizal Café.

Time to try the new rizal park hotel buffet. Location of the old army navy club. Beautifully restored. Very elegant.
Well i was here to try the buffet. I would give the buffet only because of the limited choices offered.
Food taste good. Specially the maki. The roated lechon belly was also very crispy. For the dessert they have much more to offer. Check out metro deal for discounts.

If your dream is to live in a palace and be like a royalty, then this hotel will make your dream come true. Rizal Park Hotel was once the Manila Army and Navy Club that was abandoned 30 years ago. Thank God an angel restored it and turned it into a beautiful hotel. My jaw dropped as soon as I got out of my car and I even asked myself, “Am I still in the Philippines?” Lol When they opened the door for me, everything inside were sparkling in my eyes. Every corner is instagrammable and I really loved the checkerboard floors. There’s also a spa and a casino so you don’t have to leave the hotel if you want to relax and try your luck. I stayed in a deluxe twin room with the view of manila bay. Didn’t had the chance to try their breakfast buffet because I had to leave early. I was also searching for the pool but it was still under construction. Overall, I really had a wonderful stay and I will go back when everything’s finish. Time to change my profile picture with the! Lol

Rizal Park Hotel, which used to be the Manila Army and Navy Club, looks like it came from a history book because they actually kept the design of the building intact. When I first saw photos of the hotel on Instagram, I immediately reserved a room without thinking twice. As it is still on soft opening, I got the Deluxe room for P4800 for 2 people with buffet breakfast.
As of my stay last August, only the cafe, spa (They dont have the actual facility yet but you may have it done at the comfort of your kwn room) and courtyard are operational. But they are planning to build an infinity pool, a sky bar and a casino.
I loved how they preserved the history and culture of the place. Though old, the hotel has no weird gloomy feel at all. It was romantic. Maybe because of the choice of colors and the lights. Plus the music playing on the hallway.
The next morning, the buffet breakfast was at Cafe Rizal. I felt underdressed wearing my white shirt and pambahay shorts as I was getting my food. Although there weren't a lot of choices, I still enjoyed most of the choices in their buffet spread. My favorites were the tapa (As usual) and their french toast!
Breakfast Buffet is at P850+
Lunch Buffet is at P1450+
Dinner Buffet is at P1900+
Overall, I enjoyed my stay even if it is still on soft opening. It was nice to see something so beautiful restored. Service was amazing. The staff were friendly, corteous and were nice enough to answer all my questions regarding the hotel.
