And I forgot to take a photo of that photobomber building behind the gigantic monuments of Rizal and, Lapu-Lapu to which I just witnessed its monument was also erected in this area.

At the entrance was a huge archipelagic replica of the map of the Philippines on a bridge-traversed pond. They could've made it more informative by labeling the names of the individual islands and perhaps brighter, vibrant colors to add more interest to it and not see it as irregularly shaped lumps on the pond.

Our last ran was held in front of Rizal Park also known as “Kilometer Zero: distance reference of Manila”. Peaceful and lovely day it was. The air was pushing us to the finish line and fun runners were just enjoying the event. No time pressure.

After the run, we thought of walking around first before heading to Pasig. I asked myself, “when was the last time I visited this place?” The last time that I can remember was when I was in 1st year college, so that was 10 years ago. 128514

We also noticed that there were no guards roving around the monument anymore. Visitors can freely take snaps near the monument, but nope. They did not do that. Tourists stayed outside the chain rail and took their selfies. No one dared to enter the chain rail. Good job Pinoys!128077128079128076

We always come here on Sundays and have our early morning walk. Never gets old. One of the best parks in the Philippines, I must say.

yesterday was the 34th Anniversarry of our community , the CFC ... it was held just around this area..I just finished the mass and left with one of my mentor and closest sister in this community..

before I cross the road from Rizal Park going to Quirino Grandstand, I look at Rizal again and some people who is taking photos with him..at oo, photo bomb nga yung building na tinatayo at nakakasira ng view kay Rizal..so sana itigil na yun at humanap ng ibang place na pagtatayuhan ,.

today happened here the very historic event of our year, our Holiness Pope Francis mass as his third day of visit in our country ..well not exactly here, sa Grandstand ang main but it still covers this area,. and I am able to attend this event, but I didn't came here just a delegate, but a volunteer as communion usher,. grabe sa super duper daming tao from being a communion usher, na demote ako as one of the human barricade,di nko nakatulong as usher, another reason is because of the C.R na dinaig pa sa blockbuster movie ang habang ng pila kya nga pati yung pang male , may girl na din gumamit, yung ibang kasama kong nakapila lumipat dun dahil short line lang..Punong puno talaga ang luneta hanggang grandstand.. And I'm soaking wet when I got home just a while ago, including my hoody because of the rain that already poured even before Pope arrived in Grandstand,

But you know, I really love this place specially in the day time , because you can walk and hang around with your family and friends,.and it's really historical..i really missed this place,.i like going here mostlt pag gusto ko mag muni-muni hehehe..

As a filipino, visiting this place specially for the first time, would really complete you as filipino... I might come back here on June, hoping ,for the anniversarry of Couples For Christ..

If you live in province and happened to visit Manila, don't miss visiting Rizal,.. Rizal will surely be happy seeing you visiting him 128514128514128513128540 and if you're a foreigner, you will really gey fascinated with the view..

Everytime I review this, I would always give this a 5star cause it deserve it..passed here yesterday while going to Quirino Grandstand for the cfc 33rd anniv., anyway this is always our way to the grandstand ..so while walking on the way there we always have all the chances to visit this..and same as after the event that finished late night like 10 pm, we passed here, and it's the best part bec. You will see all the dancing light and the steady one in the fountain in the middle near the immitated philippine map ..and you will see aswell couples dating haha lols..

I just didn't have the chance to get a photo bec. My phone is already drained in the middle of the event in quirino 128557128513

PS: I hope Quirino Grandstand be allowed to be added in the looloo data base so I could share what happened yesterday..also I would like to apology to those who works near this area dahil we have to close the area for our event , and to the noise..128519128517

Went here last year , when I attended the CFC's32nd Anniv. ., and I'm goin back again later, and now as a usher too , for the 33rd CFC anniv.

Anyway guys, I invite you guys to come here too if you are free..it's ok if you're not member yet, .. You can come here any hour starting 12pm to the rest of the day, anyway it's a whole day event.. Just get a ticket to the entrance in Quirino Grandstand, the ticket is just cheap, less than 100.. If they asked what chapter you are, tell them you are invited by a sfc friend from westb :)

just bring some extra money too just incase you want to buy some souvenirs from this once a year even in our community ..there's also photobooth here 128077128107128108128106128111

went here around 3am
After work..
I know. I know
Who'd go to a park this late?
I do. Did. Haha.
gotta try something new everyday :)

I don't like crowded places.
I hate traffic.
So i travel while the world sleeps..
best thing about being in rizal park
At this hour is that
You'll be able to go to the monument
To snap selfies whatsoever
coz the guard is sleeping in his post,, haha..
Just be ready to run just in case he wakes up.
Hahaha

Is that logo of Hyundai? Anyway, this place is still the best park for me.
I still remember during 80's, our Sunday Family Day were mostly spent here. Our day starts at 4:00am, we first go to the Children's Playground and then later on on the seaside.

One of these theme parks has a canteen with deaf and mute servers, back then, when I was still makulit, I made fun of them, but when my dad saw what I was doing, he scolded me. That was the time that I realized that not all people are like me, normal (totoo ba I claim ko lang to? Lol), I'm 8 years old back then. This is also the time that I started going to the rooms of SPED in our school just to observed them. I became so interested with the way they handle their difficulties, I even studied how to use sign language for me to understand them. Got aunt (mom's cousin) who is also deaf and mute, so at young age I can communicate with her whenever we saw each other in Pangasinan.

I remember nung malinis pa itong Manila Bay, we swim here, haha Marcos time pa non kaya malinis pa! But now, Manila Ocean Park na. Hays 128557 talaga!
