The tiny restaurant from the outside will surprise you with a huge space inside. I just ordered Spicy Chicken Rice Toppings (P175) which came with macaroni soup. The chicken was tasty but the meal had too much carrots in it, which I'm not a fan of. The waiter said that it was part of their best sellers but it was just something usual. I'd still try the other group meals next time since they have weird dishes I've seen for the first time like Tinola sa Pakwan and Pasta w/ Tinapa Pesto.

The place looked small from the outside, but is wide enough once you step in.
The interior didn't remind me of anything Asian, until I had a peak on their menu.
Their menu consisted of various Asian flavors and is budget-friendly.
We ordered a Pad Thai, good for 3 people, and it tasted fine. I couldn't tell if it tasted great because it was my first time tasting Pad Thai, and am not a fan of noodles.
Overall, I had a good time here; plus, we were served with buko-infused water.

The photo speaks for itself. Reasonably-priced superb food. I don't mind traveling from Cavite to Maginhawa just to try the rest of the dishes. I couldn't picky fave dish because everything was soooo good.

Highly recommended!

What we ordered:
Appetizers - Crispy Tawilis, Chicken Skin. Gambas
Bagoong Rice
Pork Binagoongan
Crispy Hito

Good, affordable Filipino food.

Was finally able to bring Ian here.

We tried the mango salad, tawilis, and tenga appetizer. You can choose any 3 for P220.

We also ordered tinola sa pakwan. Not a favorite of mine but it is a must-try. Its flavor is very interesting.

We also ordered the herb rice and tinapa rice for P40 each.

They serve pandan water for free.

Love this place. Comfort Filipino food. Will definitely be back.

#busog #sulit 128522128077

tried the tawilis with the litson sisig and gambas appetizer. yummy!

instead of their tinola, we tried the spicy squid with tofu for a change... and my verdict is 1108811088110881108811088️ (next visit will try the hundred islands. acdg to the staff it's their version of sinigang)

must-try aside for their pandan water is the gulaman and sago 127865

parking is a problem though 128532 (tip dont park NEAR the gate with a sign "dont block the driveway" or be prepared to be called by their masungit neighbor) 128544

anyway the food still made it a 5-star food dining experience 128079

I love the fact that the restaurant's name is my grandmother's. That alone makes me smile up to the heavens.

Tried the following:
Appetizer set: crispy tawilis, catfish mango salad, hoisin chicken

Tinola sa Pakwan

Adobong Pusit

Calamansi Tanglad

Fresh buko with Pandan syrup

All quite satisfactory. The chicken pieces in the tinola were tender, and the pakwan was more of a broth thickener than flavor base. I tasted ginger and tomatoes mostly.

The adobong pusit though quite small in serving is very flavorful.

The drinks were not too sweet, which is a very good thing, and very refreshing.

The green mango salad was average and lacked catfish flakes . The crispy tawilis is a no-brainer. The hoisin chicken was most enjoyable and something kids will enjoy.:)

Tinola sa Pakwan? Say what!!! 128553

I felt so weird upon hearing this but when I've got the chance to taste it, oh boy! This isn't weird anymore.

This is good but I can't take the weirdness. Sorry 9996️ Not so adventurous this time.

Tinola sa Pakwan - Very innovative. It's the first time I've encountered such. 175php

Binagoongang Kawali- mixed with eggplant. It's really good. 240php

All are good for sharing, they also have this "appetizers: any three for 200php" concept.

Don't forget to try their Calamansi Tanglad juice. It's also good.

Filipino dish with a twist, something new but still delicious. Big serving and affordable. The only downfall is the parking area. But overall, will come back to try other "twisted" dishes :)

The flavors of Roberta Flavors of Asia are AMAZING. I didn't think I could still find surprising flavors but I ended up eating here three times the first week I tried it.

1. Everything is perfectly cooked. The Chicken and Pork Satay was so perfectly seasoned and tender, I could cut it with a spoon. The Hoisin Chicken was the best I've tasted in a long time. The meat in the Tinola sa Pakwan falls off the bone. Speaking of Tinola sa Pakwan...

2. Innovative Flavors. Tinola sa Pakwan sounds & looks intimidating, but it is really so delicious. It tastes like neither Tinola nor Pakwan - there's basil in it, and it almost tastes like green chicken curry in Thai restaurants, which is still all good. The balance in the Calamansi & Tanglad juice was also spot on - just the right touch of that herb taste of Tanglad without overpowering the sweetness of the calamansi.

3. Crazy affordable. I'm not used to amazing flavors coming at such a low price. You can get 3 appetizers at only a little over P200, which is a great way to sample the dishes. Also, the serving size of the appetizer is big enough to pair with rice as a meal.

My personal recommendations:

- Tinola sa Pakwan
- Chicken Pork Satay with Peanut Sauce
- Hoisin Chicken
- Calamansi & Tanglad juice

Plus points for the free Pandan-infused water, which I like better than the lemon water commonly served in restaurants.

The only bad thing about this place is it smells musty, like wet cardboard or wood that's been soaked a long time, but hey - small price to pay to eat in what is now my favorite restaurant.

Good food with my man, Ramon Bautista!!128149 He got a discount just 'cause. (Perks of a celeb128514)

So, he ordered:

Tinola sa Pakwan -1108811088110881108811088
- Meat falls off the bone. Very flavorful. INNOVATIVE128076
Crispy Hito w/ Buro and Mustasa - 1108811088110881108811088
- Perfectly fried. Pati yung tinik hindi nakaligtas sa The Dragon...128514
Catfish Mango Salad - 11088110881108811088
- Where's the catfish?! On a lighter note, ingredients were fresh!
Buddha's Delight - 110881108811088
- Basically, it's just a typical chopsuey with button mushrooms and tofu.

Must try for the both of us are: Tinola sa Pakwan and Crispy Hito!!!

The owners happened to be there when we ate so I guess that's why service was fast. 128540

I have this thing for spice and I just love how we, here in Asia, uses them for food.

For Valentines Day, my friends reserved a table at Roberta Flavors of Asia in Maginhawa street here in Quezon City, wherein we had our group dinner date. The place was, in a way, exclusive - it is situated understatedly along the busy street. My mom had a gift certificate for this place before, but expired since they don't know the place.

Roberta's is truly Asian - although the menu is familiarly Pinoy. They serve Asian dishes which are flavorful and appealing to the eye and the budget. Serving size is good, as you can share them with your friends. Price is also good since you get what you pay for and even more. Sulit!

I order a couple of things - Char Kwah Teow (pictured) which is a spicy seafood rice noodle dish, Stuffed Jalapeños, Fried Tawilis and Pickled Veggies or atsara (I think :p) - all of which are under 400 php. My friends ordered Kare-Kare which was infused, I heard, with Pakwan (watermelon) and a spicy beef dish. The serving spoiled me! Food is meant to be shared and Roberta's make it easy.

The experience was pleasantly surprising. This is a place where my mom and dad can enjoy good food at an affordable price. They make so many things that are flavorful that even their water has Pandan in it! Sooooooo, if you like Asian food but don't want to be bothered by a large crowd, pay the place a visit. See you soon Roberta (whoever you are)! :)

My nth time to eat here and I'll always return. It's a family resto of my friend and it's also right next to her spa.

I never fail to order my fave Pomelo Chicken Salad. I ask for it not to be spicy though. The Binagoongang Lechon Kawali never fails to satisfy my tummy. It was my first time to taste the Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings. Yum! All 3 of our appetizers was delish! We ordered the Catfish Mango Salad, Fried Tawilis and the Seafood Gambas.

Even the water they serve is yummy because of the pandan.

The service is always great!

So far all the food I've ordered not just today has been great!

And the price is just right!
