Because we won free advance screening tickets for Suicide Squad.

Though seats were not reserved but it's fine, who'll say no to free tickets though.

"Home" has been in the theaters for weeks and would probably be ending soon. Watched with the kids and enjoyed it. Got surprised that J. Lo and Rihanna were the voices of the mom and daughter tandem. My 3 yr. old who has completed his collection of the "Home" character "O" loved the movie 128079.

The movie house was practically empty, devoid of the human race 128563 except for 4 aliens who had a silly time watching this movie 128521

My sister got an invitation for the Advanced Screening of "The Best of Me" movie that was held here. I am so excited to go inside the cinema kasi its my first time to watch a movie in Galle. When I entered the Cinema I got disappointed with their AC. MAINIT 128544 I can feel my kilikili drooling 128548 I was about to complain when the movie started so I let it pass. Good thing the movie was too good to ruin my night.

Watched Expendables yesterday and it was a little disappointing. They didn't step it up this time because there were a lot of dragging parts in my opinion. I still like 1 & 2.

The movie house need a lot of work to do. Improvement on seats and sound system..

Took the nephew to watch maleficent last Saturday and he loved it. Luckily he didn't get scared of the tree elks. Overall it was a good movie. Medyo predictable but it's good. Love the effects and the twist of the original sleeping beauty.

As for the movie house, it was so so. But +1 because I bought it online and didn't have to line up. Issue lang is it's not reserved seats - guaranteed lang. But we got okay seats naman.

Boo lang as their sour cream popcorn was sooooo bad. And it smelled so weird. Never get that 128563128563

Watched x-men with my bro and his wife yesterday. We got 3:05 pm and luckily it wasn't crowded so it was cold, relaxing and sometimes i am placing my feet anywhere i want even though that's prohibited. Hahaha!

Over all it was good except for the couple near us talking and kissing. Tsk tsk. 128584128585128586

So lucky that I was one of the lucky winners who will be able to watch the advance screening of the XMEN: Days of Future Past. I won two tickets and I was with hubby when we watch it the other night. So happy that we watched it on 3D.

The movie was really good, you must watch this film128077127916

Last night was a me-time, and a me-time won't be completed without watching a film. I watched Liam Neeson's "Non-stop", better late than never. The cinema was a free seating type of cinema so you could choose a spot where you're most comfortable with. I sat at the Premiere so I could have a better view.

There were only few rows occupied at the Premiere area, maybe because it was Sunday and it's 22:00. The AC was at full blast during the first part of the movie. On the latter, i think, they lowered down the level, or else I'll be frozen to death! Lol. 128513

EVERYONE. WATCH FROZEN. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Definitely one of the best movies to come out this year.

Well, fine, there's bias there. I love Disney movies. And with a cast that's filled with Broadway veterans? OH MY.

Basta, Frozen isn't your typical princess-prince-happily ever after movie. It's about two sisters. And some men.

Basta. Just watch it. I don't want to spoil anything beyond that, oh, maybe except it's a musical-type movie. Well, that was the vibe i got from it. Broadway beybeh!!

It's been two days since i've watched the novie and i'm still gushing over it! :') it's THAT nice, if you ask me! I LOVED IT. Definitely buying the DVD.

The movie theater itself (cinema 4) was quite spacious. I think it's one of their better cinemas, with ample legroom, wide aisles and walkways, and well-stocked CR's. The sound quality and acoustics were okay; I enjoyed the dialog and musical numbers nonetheless. The chairs... Well, my hind started to hurt an hour into the movie. Perhaps the age of this moviehouse is starting to show?

Still, that doesn't take away the fact that FROZEN WAS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE OMG. Watch it, and you won't regret it! Disney has done it again!

For the record, Frozen is probably in my top 3 Disney movies. Better than Tangled, yes.

After Iceberg's we headed over to the theaters for my sister's Catching Fire premiere.

We paid 350 for the ticket, but got loads of freebies on the way in, like jollibee burgers, chips, cotton candy, etc.

I found the queue area a little tight since the theaters were on the 2nd floor, and the hallway can get really narrow. We found some seats in the back left area with a full view of the screen. The seats themselves though were a little run down, to the point that I was afraid I might break it if I sat on it at a wrong angle. Thankfully, it didn't break though, and we enjoyed the whole movie.

Afterwards, there were more freebies leftover from the initial crowd, meaning more chips and burgers for us! 128556

GRAVITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing a visually stunning, ground breaking movie. Director Alfonso Cuaron (Y Tu Mamba Tambien, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) really did a masterpiece here. I don't know how he pulled it off (can't wait for the making of Gravity, when the DVD comes out).

It's not a long movie (bout an hour and a half), but you've got two strong actors, Oscar winners, in Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Essentially the only two actors in the movie. It's not sci-fi, but a drama in space.

Cuaron makes you feel the despair, the bits of triumph, the scariness, all in the vastness of space, and doesn't make you feel bored, tired or "spaced out."

An awesome ride in space and best watched in the cinema. Galleria isn't in the best condition but it sure meets my requirements.

1) there's a Taters there
2) affordable
3) digital sound
4) comfy chairs

It will pale in comparison to its sister mall's theaters in my (now) regular Magnolia, but the latter has four theaters only. This one just has about two decades of mileage with a couple of Botox treatments through the years. 9786

INSIDIOUS 2! Well, You know why I'm here, it's because of Taters! 128513

The cinema itself was okay. The only reason why I gave it a 4 stars because for one ticket, you'll have a free Cali Maki at Yoshinoya. So why not? We had 8 free pieces already! Save 180 pesos? Hahaha. 128514 Though we saw a dead rat after the cinema! 128534

The movie itself was so-so. Actually I don't like Insidious 1 at all, it's just that we're curious on how they will continue the story. Not a surprise but it's like the first one. Which didn't impress me at all. 128542 sorry Insidious fan, I'm more of realistic scary approach kasi. Yung tipong I can imagine that something might happen. Yung mga multo multo effect.128517 Nothing special, But better than the first. IMO. The director has tons of idea. The movie was a bit messed up already.128590 (mas marunong pa sa director eh noh?!) I watched RIPD all by myself earlier at the Cinema1, just to unwind.
The price I thought is reasonable because of the reserved seating. When i came to the movie house, it was too dark that you cannot see what is the letter and number of seat you are supposed to be seating. The seats are broken. It was like you will have a bite from a surot anytime. Haha.
When it comes to the restroom, it's like ayala mall restroom except robinsons has bidet.

Watched The Conjuring last night with boyfie and a co-worker. Original plan was to watch it in Podium but The Conjuring wasn't showing there yet. Next cinema we found online was in Market! Market! but since Galleria is just walking distance from the project site, we decided to just check it here first, luckily its already showing here.

Audio was not bad at all! If it weren't for the sound effects I wouldn't have jumped in my seat. 128584128585128586 Yes, I screamed a couple of times.. 128529 But it was all because of the "panggulat" scenes and sound effects.
Couches seemed comfy enough, not as big as in ATC but good enough and clean. Popcorn tasted good except that halfway through the small bucket, I already consumed all the butter, either they didn't put enough or didn't mix it well to coat most of the kernels.

Movie? I liked it, but I wouldn't talk about it over and over again after watching it. Well, as a big fan of Horror movies, it wasn't extra overly nightmarish scary as I expected it to be but I also now get why a lot of people found it almost dull and don't find it fright'ning. They watched it in their laptops which lacked the oomph of surround-sound speakers.
Don't get me wrong, the story was good 128077 and movie wasn't boring at all. Its still worth watching in the cinemas to get that full "in-your-face" surprising effects. If you found the movie Insidious scary then you'd also be frightened with this one and it would most probably have lasting effects on you like being too conscious with the time at dawn, creaking noises or taps on doors. 128513

I'd imagine it to be a lot more fun to watch this movie at home with friends and family that are very skittish, with your wide screen TVs and surround sound speakers on full blast. 128540

IMO, as of yesterday, The Grudge (the Korean??/Japanese? version) still holds the highest bar for scariest, gives-me-nightmares horror movies.

Watched The Smurfs 2 alone here at the Cinema 4. And seriously, I'm the only 23-year old man who were watching this movie? And the rest are kids...with their family ofcourse. 128517

Anyway, their cinema somehow resembles the Glorietta 4 cinema structure (If you know what I mean). You just really have to find the perfect spot to feel comfortable while watching. The gap between the next seat was the same as the Trinoma cinema seats which was good!

Watched a movie in Cinema 8. The Cinema was relatively small but it had pretty comfortable seats. However, the seats were also rather sensitive to movements from other seats in the same row, which could potentially be quite annoying.

One has to navigate rather steep steps to get to seats nearer the screen making it senior-citizen-unfriendly.

Paid P200 per ticket for guaranteed but free seating.

I'd say good overall viewing experience.

First time to watch a movie back to back!

Monsters University and Despicable Me 2! 128516 I can't really figure out which is better, really good and hilarious! They both nailed the movie! Bring the kiddie on me! 128514

Ohhh, I forgot, it's a cinema review, not the movie itself. Hahaha! We stayed in Cinema 7 for Monsters University. Twas small and low ventilated at some point. 128517

While we stayed at Cinema 2 for Despicable Me 2! Twas waaay larger than the latter, well ventilated and packed because of the movie.

And yes, why we choose Robinsons Movie World? Ehem, Taters ofcourse! 128513

This is my first time reviewing a Movie Theater for REAL!! 128561128561128561

I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed a single bit from the start. Oh well, I will catch up! 128521

Most of the time, Robinsons Galleria is my favorite Movie House ever. Why? Not because of the Place itself but with the store outside, ✅ TATERS! hahahah! 128514 My movie experience is not complete if there's no Taters Butter Popcorn with me, plus their Red Iced Tea! Winner! 10084 (What I want with their butter popcorn is they really put melted butter and not just butter flavorings) that's why it's absolute nomnom! 128525 Different interesting flavors too, like: Wasabi Popcorn, White Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Mexican BBQ, Caramel Popcorn etc, Nachos, and lots of picka picka to choose from! I think this should be a review for Taters? 128518

But with their movie world itself, it's well ventilated and tidy most of our visit. Though I hate it when, it's noisy inside and when teenagers (mostly) were also watching and talking so loudly and it seems that they are the only people created. 128530
