It was last Saturday when we set aside another good old holiday because work, yes, work. Huhu! We had to meet on a weekend as to finalize an upcoming event for a corporate client.
The Boss decided to meet at the Rockwell Sports Club, here, as he was a member and what best way to make the most out of his membership than to set all meetings here.
As it was a weekend, upon entering the club at around 10 AM, it was peaceful and really calm, no feels of hustling and bustling. The meeting rooms were empty and only a few people were staying at the cafe.
It's good that they have the room assignments on their TV screens as you can just go directly to your area. The name of the member will be flashed there.
Upon entering our room, it was the usual conference room that had a long table and chairs that can accommodate almost 12-15 pax. Space was big enough though to accommodate more people. For a 3 hour meeting, the room costs a consumable rate of P3,500 so as we were only six, we had the pleasure to order as much as we want, piggy mode on!
I ordered their Clubhouse Sandwich and some Ripe Mango Shake. The sandwich was actually good for sharing. It was filled with ham, bacon, cheese, egg and some veggies. It was actually filling. The shake was too sweet for me, doesn't taste legitimate in a way.
As we have extra from our consumable, we took out some more food to go. I ordered their Spaghetti with Salmon in Lemon Butter Sauce and a slice of Chocolate Cake (the one in the photo). The pasta was a bit bland, the salmon wasn't tender too. The sauce was lacking too. I was quite sad about this.
The cake tasted OK too. Nothing so spectacular and worth remembering about it.

Habol ng quota sa umaga, habol ng shuttlecock at hininga sa gabi
Glad more NKA teammates are playing on Mondays. The more the merrier.
I just love the fact that I played for 2 hours but I paid only p100. The organizers must've gotten a good deal for this... Or there's strength in numbers. 15 pax for 3 courts. Sakto hits
Amenities are just okay but the standby staff and free cold drinking water is definitely a plus
PS: Jacy L Pam L Kiko G let's arrange ours na. Di lang tugma sched

650th review? How time flies when your matakaw #chubbyperohappy
Starting the week right by going back to badminton on Mondays. It's been ages since my last badminton rally so went easy... Two and a half hours din naglaro. I missed it e. But I had to rush to Nuat Thai after
Tried the Rockwell metropolitan sports club in front of our office. It's quite secluded so you have some privacy but it's a little tricky to find if you haven't been to the court before.
The court itself isn't bad. I'm not picky with the material of the floor but this one didn't skid so that's a plus. We rented out 4 courts to ourselves so solong solo. Got to play for 2.5 hours but I only shelled out p100. Not bad, not bad indeed
Also, the place comes with complimentary water and the p100 we shelled out included the badminton shuttle cocks. Sulit!
Ps: diyahe lang that you have to have an authorization form a member before you can play. Huhuhu
