I don't know what's gotten in to me, but felt like trying something different again. So inorder ko yung Kaldereta, masarap. Pero sana nag Tapsi na lang ako. LOL. Yung sisig, as usual, panalo. Yung Dinuguan, medj iba yung lasa today. Hmm.

Success at last!

My first attempt here was a fail. Their tapa was sold out! Good thing, this time it wasn't. Well according to the waitress it's not often that the tapa goes sold out. Just not my day on my first try. I went here at around 7 PM on a weekday.

Of course, I ordered their famous tapa with egg and garlic rice. Classic, very rich in taste and delicious. Can't wait to eat here again.

Their restaurant is easy to find, around 15-mins walk from Rufino cor Ayala. Interior is very simple, like a carinderya type - but with aircon and plastic chairs which can fit around 20 people all at the same time.

My late lunch. Tapsilog for the win in Rodic's. Well, it was my first time here and my friend said that they do have good tapsi. So i go ahead and tried it today since i was within the vicinity.

For only 100 pesos this would be your meal. I was hoping it has a free drink but i think i was asking for too much. Although, their meal without tomato is just 95 pesos. Since i like tomatoes i added 5pesos.

For the Tapa i like how it was shredded on top of the rice and it's really tasty. You don't have to use effort in cutting and chewing it unlike other who serve tapa in cuts. But i guess it's also a strategy to lessen the tapa served. Right? Haha

Anyway i liked the tapa no question on that. I guess it's kinda sulit in a way. But not in a way you have to hunt it down to satify your cravings in tapa. Well, that's just me. Let's just see soon. 128077128522

After it was introduced by my best friend two years ago, I have kept on craving for Rodic's tapa every now and then. I remember spending most of my lunch breaks here during my internship last summer and after more than a month of thinking and dreaming of it, I finally went back and went out filled and satisfied. ;)

The diner was almost empty when I got there at around 2pm, I was surprised because I am so used of seeing it full. Also, it was cooler and cleaner. Now I know what the best time to ho there and dine.

I was not so hungry when I went here because I had a sandwich which I fully regret. I ended up just having a half cup of rice. Ugh. The tapa was just how I remember it, balanced sweetness, tender (kind of) flaked meat, only, the price is 10 php higher than last summer, and I don't think the serving of tapa got bigger. Whyyyy! I heard they always do this once in a while which I think is not a good thing, well at least not if they don't improve their serving size.

Nevertheless, i enjoyed my tapsilog and will probably be back here again soon (bago pa mag mahal ulit, lol).

Had dinner here after working out at the gym last week. I was badly craving for tapsilog and thought that it's the right time to finally try the famous Rodic's tapa.

I arrived 30 minutes before their closing time, and there were still few people dining in. I got their best-selling tapa that comes with rice and fried egg. Their tapa has this sweet, savory & unique taste that's good for my liking. May kilig sa bawat tikim! No wonder why people are going crazy with this, because it's just really good!

It's definitely worth the walk of going here from the gym. Good food at a very cheap price! 1108811088110881108811088

I got seriously hungry during an OT night so I checked my looloo app and decided to give Rodics a try. I haven’t eaten anything from Rodics but I’ve been hearing tons of good things about it from my friends and my boyfriend (who’s from UP).

And they were right — the food was freaking delicious. And cheap!

I ordered their best seller Tapa (comes with rice, egg, and vinegar) for takeout and I loved it so much. Tapa is my favorite breakfast and hangover food and Rodics killed it good. The tapa is cooked perfectly and matches so well with the egg and the vinegar that comes with it. It’s so yummy that I think one order is bitin!

But now that I’ve tried their best-selling food, I’m even more excited to visit their famous UP branch and get that authentic Rodics experience from there. My boyfriend has tons of stories about the place so I’m pretty sure going there would be a treat.

Quick tip: The Makati branch closes pretty early like at 8:30 PM but they accept takeout orders ‘til about 9:00.

2nd lunch here and we're surprised that their tapa is now 95 pesos aaaannnd it doesn't gives justice to us. HAHAHA. Yes it's fine if they increased their price but it would give justice if their serving is also appropriate for the price.

finally! I was able to try Rodic's and it was really delicious. :) I remember Perico's during my college days but this one is better and also affordable. It's just that you'll smell like Tapsilog after eating here. Hehehe

If you're around Makati during lunch or if you work in Makati, it would be great to grab your favorite Tapsilog here. Especially if you long for Rodic's Tapsilog in UP. Almost the same taste with the original branch in UP. It's a small place so it would be best to take out your food or be there before the lunch time rush of employees arrive.

I won't be thinking twice to give it 511088️'s for overall review. This is probably the most underrated and very cheapskate, yet the best tapsilog joint I've ever tried in the metro (even better than Taps in Davao since I am from Davao City). I like beef tapas that hit the right balance between sweet and salty marinated taste, added the flaky texture that's no difficult to eat, and that's why it appealled to me on my first try. It was one of my officemates' to give it a try for quick lunch. Apparently it didn't look like it's a legit tapsilog kitchen as it seemed just like a normal food stall (or carenderia) to me. But yeah their special tapsilog really did amaze me and the rest was history. Also we did order their chicken sisig and crunchy tawilis (reminds me of Tagaytay again) and both were also good on their own.

Rodics, when it comes to tapa and tapsilog, is the comfort food joint you might wanna try in one of your foodie adventures.

Our fave tapsilog place. We're so lucky it's super near the office. Our go-to lunch spot everytime we have a manager's meeting.128521

The last time we went, most of them ordered sisig. I got tapsilog, of course. 128523

Tapa is consistently good! I like my tapa drowning in catsup and vinegar. 128514128514128514 The sweetness and sourness mixed together just produces the best taste!

The staffs here are very accommodating. Tip: Ask for crunchy garlic! It is best added in your tapa dish :)

It's been a while since I graduated from UP and I was missing the tapsilog from Rodic's. Glad they have a branch in Makati, so I had lunch there earlier!

Taste is the same as I remembered it from years ago, no small feat since food quality in many other establishments seem to go downhill after a few years. Portion size is more than enough for my appetite, and best of all it only cost me Php95!!
