Went to Rodics diner yesterday morning for breakfast at New Marikina Subdivision branch. Glad that we have Rodics in Marikina.

Hubby and I ordered Rodics best seller Tapsilog!its our favorite too. For only 95 pesos. Their tapa is different from other tapsilog in Manila. It's kinda sweet and I liked it. Softdrinks in can is 30 pesos.

Rodics have other meals that you will enjoy too and even deserts too.

One of the best tapsilogs I've tasted! Rodic's Diner offers a sumptuous plateful of rice topped with shredded tapa and egg.

For a tapsilog lover like me, I've already tried Vivian's, Rufo's, and Tapa King. So far I think Rodic's is the best because the shredded tapa makes it easy to chew and the flavor really comes out. Can you suggest anymore good tapsilogans out there?

This may sound weird, but yes, I never tried Rodic's Diner even for once. Despite being an Iskolar ng Bayan, I didn’t have the chance to savor the well-known Tapsilog in the University of the Philippines. 128148 That’s why no wonder right after dropping by our Alma Mater, the Marikina Science High School, my batch mates/council pals dragged me nearby Rodic’s Marikina. 128076

The atmosphere of the diner was engaging for its spacious, well lit and air-conditioned. Tasting their famous Tapsilog with my buddies was amusing! It was a place to hang-out as well. Also, there was this artwork that captured our attention. It incorporated the vibes of the University of the Philippines focusing on the Filipino way of life which was interesting. 128158

Orders were served just on time. The Tapsilog consists of savory and tender tapa, well done egg and garlic fried rice and for P95 it was absolutely ‘sulit’! Also, it perfectly goes with vinegar, adding that spice to your mouth even more. But later on, you’d feel the ‘umay’ factor due to their generous servings. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Anyway, according to my friend, their Sisig with Egg & Rice was so delicious and satisfying. That’s why, that goes on my list the next time I drop by Rodic’s.

However, I think my expectations went to high that’s why I wasn’t that much fascinated with their meal. But who knows? Maybe trying out the University’s branch would turn out to be a blast! 128521

My second time here at Rodics Marikina.

My first try here was I was just all by myself and tried the famous tapsilog ,this time I was with my husband and I want him to try Rodics,

Glad we were able to park and the place were no longer full compare to their soft opening.

Aside from tapsilog they offer different viands also. Got bistek and hubby got sinigang na baboy. We also ordered extra rice and softdrinks. Servings was little and the taste is normal and price is expensive.

They're only good in tapsilog and for the other meals it's not practical

Sumptuous, filling and tasty, Rodic's classic Tapsilog is one type of comfort food that one can always crave for.

For 90php, this crowd favorite has a huge serving of rice with its fresh tasting, juicy and perfectly cooked tapa strips that tastes even better with so much vinegar in it. Paired with a sunny side up egg that's the ultimate breakfast completer, this meal can also be enjoyed for lunch or dinner.

They also have a variety of dishes to choose from. From different Silogs to viands from breakfast to dinner, Rodic's has expanded their menu to cater the usual comfort food that Filipinos really like.

This Rodic's branch near Marikina Science High School has welcoming vibes with its spacious and well lit area that is suitable for family brunch dates, barkada hang-out dates and simple catching-up dates.

If you'll be craving for Silogs soon enough after reading this, visit Rodic's and get that craving satisfied asap! 128075🏼

It's my first time to try Rodic's because they opened up a branch here in Marikina! I can't say that the place is good, coz their place is so small knowing that People might rush to try their famous tapa. Don't have the picture coz we have to eat fast kasi marami na ngang customer ang nakapila. Tapa flakes were the best plus the perfect suka! Except for the egg coz its so oily. And now I'm craving 128523

Rodic's Diner

Had breakfast at Rodic's one gloomy Sunday morning.   This is a self-service diner,  you place your order at the counter,  get some utensils and condiments located at the corner.

The counter.  One is manning the counter,  another one is standing beside the counter with the order sheet.  Despite the fact that there's two of them,  i had to repeat my order three times.  I almost snapped (I get really cranky when i repeat myself).  She finally got it after constant repetition.  Got some cutlery,  and i saw a couple of strands of hair near the thing where they place the spoons.  The alarm in my head starts buzzing.

Food was served quickly,  i got myself a plate of Tapsilog.  Shredded tapa on top of fried rice and sunny side up egg on the side.   The meat is slightly sweet and seasoned well.  The rice is not oily which i like and the egg is fried perfectly.  Gooey yolk and the white is cooked just right.  Big servings,  good for two skinny size 0 ladies.

My Rodic's experience is not as good as i expected,  the hair is a total letdown.  Two stars for now,  the saving grace is the tapa.

U.P.'s all time favorite is finally here! Hey Marikeños/Marikeñas, no need to go to UP just to try the famous Tapsilog coz it's finally here at our beloved city of Marikina. Yes.. you heard it right 128066128066128066

TGIF! It's a lazy day for me. I'm tired to cook so need to get out for lunch and buy some groceries earlier then I saw the Facebook page of Rodic's that today (July 24) they will opened their new branch in Marikina. Hooray! Perfect timing coz now I know where to go for lunch. Since it was near at our place , decided to check them out earlier .

The exact address is #4 Chanyungco St. New Marikina Subdivision Sta. Elena Marikina. For short , near Marikina City hall and besides Marikina Polytechnic College. It's easy to find don't worry.

From afar nakita ko na agad ang signage. At first, I thought Razons, both starts with letter R then yung color nila is red and white din.

Malayo pa lang kita ko ng madaming tao, may sound system sa labas, twerk it pa talaga pinatugtog, love it! Then may balloons sympre kasi grand opening eh. 127880127880127880

When I got inside the place was neat at parang Razons sya talaga for me. There were monoblocks table inside at merun din sa labas and was set up properly , as a matter of fact nakatent pa but no one tried seating there. Lahat excited sa aircon sa luob, sympre kakain ka nalang gusto mo ba mainit?? Sympre dapat nka ac db?128540

There was no long queue, pangatlo ko sa pila at mabilis naman. Madam owner is there near the cashier , wearing red, color coordinated talaga dahil red and white ang color ng Rodics Diner,

My concern is how to get a seat, I'm just alone at lahat ng seats halos may nkaupo yun pla yung iba take out so I found my seat yey! Then medyo naimbyerna araw ko, there's this oldie group na feeling young ang dumating at si manang na nka long sleeves na pink ay iha pwede ba dun ka nlng sa kabila kc isa ka lang naman madami kmi , wow ha! Feeling may ari si madam buti nalang mabait ako then I moved to another table at mag isa lang naman din ako dun di sna dun nalang sila pinalipat pa ko. Then two men came , may nakaupo ba dto? They asked ,, sa luob luob ko anu papaalisin din nyo ba ko128513 then they seated.

Finally dumating na order ko, the plating was just plain and simple but the serving of tapa was generous at masarap. Busog ka talaga , burp excuse me po128540

While eating usap yung katabi ko, di na natin kailangan pumunta ng UP, same here sa luob luob ko. I've been hearing a lot from my friends about this and now ko lang sya na-try. Then dumating order nila , nilagyan sila ng place mat ako hindi128557unfair! Tapos binigyan ng tap water ako hindi128557 humingi talaga ko ng tubig sa waitress at nagbigay naman128077 purkit nakita yung softrinks in can dko na ba kailangan bigyan ng tubig 128513

Tapsilog cost 95 pesos , is it worth it yes128077 daming tapa. Their recipe is original since 1949. Then they don't have ice tea pa only softdrinks in can for 30 pesos .

Aside from Tapsilog, they have other kinds of silog meals too. I heard their caldereta is their best seller too, will try it next time. I saw on their menu that they have Kare-kare, palabok, halo-halo, can't wait to try it on my next visit.

My food experience was good , need to improve pa ng konti yung service, mabait naman ang staffs and they even say thank you, yung iba need mo pang utusan but I understand opening pa lang kasi. Next time di na sila excuse haha. The owner is accommodating and polite to customers. Nice to see madam wearing red.

Imbyerna lang pag may nakasabay kang loud mouth gaya ni girl in pink. Yung mga chairs kinaladkad from other table going to their table , di ba pwede buhatin ng walang ingay

My final say, di naman nila kasalanan Kung may gaya ni girl in pink, I still gave 4 stars11088110881108811088️ next time 5 stars kung pati halo-halo at palabok masarap coz it's my favorite 128522

By the way I bought pastillas de leche here but I think it's from their concessionaire, for 95 pesos only, they have macapuno candies too 128522

I read they're giving away free Tapsilog to first 50 guests and I paid so that means madami ng pumunta dto since it opened this morning

Now Marikina really has a lot to offer, include this on your MarikinaFoodBucketlist127860
