The resto is clean and well-lit. Waiters were accommodating as well. Food was ordinary though - delicious, but just okay.

We only ordered 2 dishes and it was enough for our appetite. Sushi was smaller than expected, but at least there were 8 pieces.

I wanted to try their ramen but we ended up ordering beef gyudon instead. Beef was tasty and the amount of sauce was just right (some has way too much sauce that makes it too salty).

After a long day doing errands, my sister and I were famished.

Ordered:
Gyudon (259PHp)
Katsudon (199PHp)

Reasonably priced Japanese dishes and there are several options to choose from. From sushi, rice bowls to ramen.

Chicken Teriyakidon and Spicy Tuna salad both are yummy and worth the price 128523

I liked this place when I initially tried it in Katipunan 9786️ its affordable Japanese food that satisfies your palette and craving. I've been craving for the spicy tuna salad from Omakase but had no time to go there so my friends and I ate at Roku before a despedida instead.

The spicy tuna salad is good but nothing beats Omakase for me so far 128517 but there's generous serving of tuna though, which is always good! 9786️ I also got the firecracker roll which satisfied my Japanese maki craving. Both are a bit spicy so if you're not into spicy food, be cautious with this one. It's not too spicy to be honest but there might some people who are sensitive to "anghang" 128513

My friend and I shared the Pork Teppanyaki donburi (wasn't able to take a photo of it) it comes with Pork and fried rice. The fried rice is sooooo good and the pork is tender! I'll definitely order this again when I go back 9786

Service was really quick. Like 10-15 mins serving time from after your ordered and the staff are accommodating and nice, which is always a plus 128077🏼

Disappointed because my Roku experiences at their Katipunan branch have been very good. Although the staff were attentive and friendly, the food was just not good. The chicken in the Chicken Teriyakidon was salty and had no other flavor to it. The Dream Roll was mushy and unappetizing. The Salmon Donburi was okay at least. Still, much less than what I expected.

We were at first hesitant to try this out because the food might not be good. But it wasn't bad at all plus it's affordable. I've tried some Jap fast food restaurants that until now I haven't been back to. 128514

We ordered:
Roku Roll (259pesos), Salmon Donburi (229pesos) and Pork Gyoza (169pesos) - enjoyed these dishes

Roku Burger Ramen (149pesos) - it was good but a bit oily for my taste.

Roku Chasu Miso (259pesos) generous toppings and the noodles were cooked perfectly - not sure about the soup. Maybe i was looking for a certain taste that's why I wasn't into it.

The staff were all smiles and prompt to assist us (requesting for water, etc) during our dinner there.

Go If you're looking for a barkada or light family gathering place. Don't go if you're looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant.

One date day, we were at Trinoma, as always. We often have lunch at the same places so I was delighted to come across Roku, we finally have a chance to finally try something different. Plus I've been craving for good Japanese food for a week.

We tried the Roku Roll, Crunchy Kani Roll and Curry Katsudon. Its very modern but a little on the pricey side relative to other restos in Trinoma. The meal cost 400pesos each. The Curry Katsudon I didn't like that much. It was a bit flaky and bland. I did Liked the rolls. Similar to Wasabi Warriors, they have wasabi mayo, but they drizzled it for you. I liked it but if you don't like wasabi it might be a bit strong.

I believe its a good place for a light, family or barkada gathering than a solid date place. Don't get me wrong, they have ala carte and solo offerings but to really maximize your visit and try their other rolls, its best to be a part of a big group and sample everything. I'm a sushi fan so I was a little disappointed that they don't offer half-sized sushi offerings (4 pieces) or mixed platters.

Japanese cuisine is my all-time favorite. I always find myself craving sushi and tempura, and I never get tired of having Japanese food.

Back in college, I have always wanted to try Roku but I never got the chance to. When I learned that they opened a branch in TriNoma, I knew I had to try it out. Interiors are modern and clean, lighting is good, and servers are accommodating.

My best friend and I dined here before watching Walang Forever (OMG guys you should see it! Lol). We ordered the agedashi tofu, pork gyoza, OMG roll, and tempura maki. The rolls looked so promising on the menu but the taste wasn't really spectacular. I was kinda disappointed with my tempura maki because it was mainly rice and very little ebi tempura. The OMG roll was okay but I think its texture could still be improved.

Overall, food is okay but taste and proportion could still be improved.

If you're familiar with Japanese food and you like your Japanese food, STAY AWAY. was able to taste a couple of rolls and some were ok. Tonkatsu, Chicken Teriyaki is terrible! Chicken Karaage is the worst. We only ate here because there were so many people in other restaurants and this restaurant had free tables. Oh well.

A Japanese Restaurant that is not too pricey. Servings are not that big, but the food is very tasty. The servers are friendly and the place is very cozy. Definitely, a place you would love to re-visit everytime you'll crave for japanese cuisine.

Ramen was just OK quiet bland compared to other ramen houses. Kani salad taste good but small serving. I rated it 2 bcoz we avail of the tempura promo buy one get one free at 286, the promo applies for 3pcs so we expect 6pcs. We got 6 right but omg the shrimp looks like one use for guisado, so small its not even tiger shrimp its like suahe you can see by the color of the tail. I wonder if they use same if its not promo. Over price I must say!

Finally visited Roku in TriNoMa. I love the interior of the restaurant. Comfy chairs and awesome light fixtures. We had a difficult time deciding what to order because we wanted to taste everything. They didn't have assorted rolls so we ended up ordering one. I'm not entirely sure what it really was, maybe the godzilla roll, but it was delicious. So delicious! My brother ordered the ramen burger. We surprisingly liked it. Mom had the katsudon and i had katsu currydon. I would have loved more curry sauce but still delicious. Serving was big, too much rice. We had apple pie gyoza & banana tempura for dessert. The presentation for the tempura was dull and plain, only 3 slices of banana per serving. I do recommend the apple pie gyoza. It was delicious and a sweet end to the meal. Will definitely go back to try more sushi rolls. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

Do you have that Japanese craving? As in you need to eat sushi ASAP? 128513 Roku is your go-to Japanese resto if you want it fast and cheap. It trumps its other competitors at that price point (P300 per person) any day. Plus, its in a mall, you can't go wrong with that. 128524

What to Order:
1. OMG Roll
2. Firecracker Roll
3. Gyudon
4. Cauliflower Bites

New Japanese place at Trinoma, nice interiors and service is really fast. Prices are affordable but the servings are small. Hope you can make your servings bigger because it cant satisfy a hungry tummy 128532 Esp the beef even though its soft & juicy, I didnt get my money's worth. As seen in the pic, you can count the number of beef slices and this order costs more than 400php 128532

It looks affordable but based on what you get, it feels over-priced. I'm always on the lookout for a sushi place and this is a failure.

Worst thing about this: the old-tasting tuna. Horrible. The salmon was ok. But there's no recovering from an old-tasting tuna.

The service was nice and fast but we won't be going back.

Been ranting about this Japanese resto ever since its branch at TriNoma opened. Then finally, we had dinner at Roku last night! We had their Roku Miso Ramen, Gyuniku Ramen, Roku Shoyu Ramen, California Maki Roll and Roku Roll. Everything was good and our orders came quite fast too :) plus the servers were very accommodating.

Had a late dinner here last night. It was a pleasant surprise since most of the dishes were yummy and somewhat affordable for Japanese cuisine. Ordered the Black Mamba (P329.00), Dream Roll (P259.00), Gyudon (P259.00), Pork Tonkatsu (P219.00), Kani Salad (P189.00), Donburi (P249.00), Cheese cake (P159.00) and Gohan (P60.00 surprisingly expensive and not having a number 9 hahaha). Gyudon's sweetness was its main strength, kani was good for sharing, dream roll's crunchiness was its main asset and cheese cake just heavenly.

The highlight would be the Black Mamba, it's flavors burst even the aftertaste. Service and Tonkatsu needs improvement. Had to follow up the dessert 3 times and ask for water refills. Tonkatsu didn't have the flavorful taste compared to other restaurants that have it. Definitely coming back for more for the wide variety of delectable dishes, comfy couches and cool music.
