We stayed in one of their exclusive rooms for lunch. Rate is 12k consumable for a 4-hour stay. Room was enough for 20 people. I recommend this if you want to have an intimate gathering. Service was quick but servers have to be more approachable and friendlier.
Personal favorites will be their cucumber-lime drink (?! forgot its name), chicken relleno, & tito greg's kare-kare. I've yet to try their desserts though. Maybe next time. 9786

The place is very nice, and the food is great! It's also just near Tomas Morato so you can have an evening walk going there, and have a few drinks too. Food servings in Romulo's are hefty, so a walk after dinner would be a good idea.

We were a group of 15 people so the only way to get everyone's tummy satisfied without binging too much was to go for Filipino food. Romulo Cafe offers that well. We went for the staple kare kare, crispy pata, and pakbet. But to be adventurous too, we ordered their tinapa lumpia, and pomelo salad. Not disappointing! We also tried their bangus belly in garlic sauce, so-so. Its price is not fair for that dish.
For their dessert, we tried their suman sa latik, leche flan and blueberry cheesecake. Ive had better cheesecakes and suman sa latik. Their leche flan is too sweet but the texture is perfect! Ambience is nice as usual but their service can be improved.

First i really love the ambiance here, perfect for family dinner, or barkada hangout. I attached pic of the place here since i like their black and white theme. There are picture of former Pres. Romulo all over the place. And the structure of the resto is like an old filipino house.

Been here several times so the staples here are kare kare, callos, lengua, tamarind chicken, and many more.

Fancy place ordinary food. Crispy pata was bland. Anchovy pasta salty. Sinigang was so-so. Kare kare and galantina was just ok. Just overrated.

No different from its Makati sibling, they serve good Spanish-Filipino dishes. The Sinigang Bangus Belly, Chicken-Pork Adobo, Baby Squid and Lengua had the right proportions and wonderful home-made taste. The rice was a little dry and the Leche Flan a little more like pudding than I'm used to. Still, they have good mocktails, ripe mango shake and Chocnut Ice Cream. We definitely enjoyed our family dinner.

Its my sister's graduation and we have no idea where to celebrate128514, then my dad thought of Romulo's Cafè. Seeing from the outside, it is elegant and simple. A lot of high class cars were parked outside and we were assuming that the place is somewhat classy (price and menu wise). However, we were a bit disappointed. We didn't like their Kare-kare and Callos 128557. The place looks like a house renovated to become a restaurant.
Redeeming theirselves with their cakes!! Love the Dome chocolate cake and Blueberry cheesecake!! 128525.

Romulo's A heritage restaurant by a famous politician Carlos P. Romulo. The interiors of their restaurant is inspired by their home.
Romulo's serves famous Filipino dishes like kare2x, sinigang, crispy pata and a lot more. I love their signature mocktail called Cool as Cucumber which consists of lime juice, cucumber and mint leaves. 127865Perfect for this hot weather.

Can't believe that this is my first review of Romulo. We always take visitors from other countries here to try good Filipino food. We always order their boneless crispy pata and general's chicken. What I like in this resto is the baby pusit but always out of stock. You have to call in advance to order this dish.

Except for occasional dirty plates and utensils in which irritates me most plus there's no improvement whatsoever despite repeated complains we keep coming back for the taste of Romulo's specialty dish. I like to order their crunchy pork leg, squid, gising-gising and lengua among others. Disappointing dirty utensils yes, I just hope the food is prepared clean nonetheless. 4 stars for the food only.

I always love Romulo's. Food is great and service is awesome. However, they do not have a high chair. Tsk tsk Their food is a bit expensive i think they can invest in 2-3 high chairs at least.

MLB goes out for dinner. Can't remember all that we ordered, I think Pomelo Salad, Tito Greg's Karekare, Molo Soup and a glass of Margarita to complete my meal. 128513 Everything was okay for me.

Good Filipino food. (Pic is boneless crispy pata). Just hope they ditch the Lipton Tea-there are so many better alternatives.

The wonders of Tomas Morato and Timog always lie in each of their corners. One of which is a small house in the corner of Sct. Dr. Lazcano and Sct. Tuazon - Romulo's Cafe.

A heritage of the late diplomat Carlos P. Romulo, Romulo Cafe provides a fine dining experience that serves Filipino dishes inspired by its own ancestry. This is proven by their menu that is named after some members of their kin such as Lola Virginia's Chicken Relleno and their ever famous Tito Greg's Kare-Kare.

Ate here on Father's day with the family. I was quite impressed on how they pay homage to history through their walls. It is a good read while waiting for your orders. The feast was served and upon my first bite, I instantly fell in love with Romulo's.

The Flying Tilapia is a joy to eat. Its perfect fry adds up to the the palatableness of the dish. It is also a perfect match for the three sauces that come with it: chili-garlic, honey-bagoong and soy vinegar (which I liked most). The Crispy Pork Binagoongan is also very delicious with the right blend of tomatoes and spices and bagoong. Finally, Tito Greg's Kare-Kare did not disappoint at all! It has the perfect thickness and creaminess of its sauce which you would always like with your kare-kare. Gambas was also served but because of my allergy with shrimps, I did not get to taste it however my sister was impressed with its taste.

Definitely I will go back to this place to try out other dishes. However, downside of it is that I find the menu too pricey for only a small serving. For lookers out there you really might wanna check this place out, waiters are good looking by the way! 128076
