Welcome to the "Little Boracay of Mindanao".

Gumasa in Glan, Sarangani is known locally for its powdery white sand beaches and clear blue waters that go on for miles. The sunset here is also a sight to behold.

One of the resorts that was developed in the area is Rosal Beach Resort, which is privately owned by the Adarna family of doctors in General Santos City.

The beachfront has been cleared of rocks, corals and seaweed, so it's very clean. They also have a medium-sized garden and children's playground near the entrance. The pathway going to the cottages is also very beautiful, as there are flowers blooming from the trellises.

The place also has open cottages, closed cottages (which vary in size), and an apartelle. They have a huge shower area and a number of comfort rooms, which are all well-maintained. They also have a cooking area with sinks and grills. There's also a cafeteria and a mini convenience store.

The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Some are frequently on patrol as security personnel, others as lifeguards. The maintenance staff are always on duty to ensure the cleanliness of the beach.

My friends and I stayed in the third biggest cottage available, the Palmera. It has two floors: the first has a CR, kitchen and dining area; the second houses the sleeping quarter, a CR, and a balcony overlooking the sea. The sleeping quarter has seven beds, is fully air conditioned and can accommodate up to 15 people.

The beachfront is also very wide, so it's never cramped. You can sunbathe, build sandcastles, play sports and other activities. And besides swimming at sea, you can rest at the floating cottage, go kayaking or even skimboarding. And of course, with the picturesque landscapes, who wouldn't want to take pictures?

This place is a paradise in Sarangani!

I was fortunate to have stayed at this place for free, thanks to my friend, the daughter of the owner. You can inquire about their rates by giving them a call, or emailing them at <> .
