We were very hungry and a big group so this restaurant was the right place for us. It's a turo- turo style resto but with not much organization. There was no sign for the queue and only one order taker seen.

Food was ok- bulalo meat was tough, cabbage were big and tough. Kare kare was all tripe and cabbages that were big and tough too. Kalderetang kambing had a smell ("lansa"), ginataang gulay had no shrimp but quite yummy nevertheless. Kamatis with salted egg was ok (i dont think anyone can mess this dish up!), but unfortunately the crispy pata was poor. Wasnt crispy at all and meat was tough.

You have to check your bill when you pay. They charged us gulay w shrimp when there was none. The price difference was big.

Overall resto is noisy, toilet is not clean.

I went here with family for dinner last Friday and we really wanted to have some Bulalo but that'll just have to wait till the next time we're here cause it was Good Friday. We ended up getting all seafood dishes and the dish that I enjoyed the most was the grilled tuna belly. My lolo also got some dried squid deep friend and I believe it's worth a try! I was hesitant to try it at first but it gets pretty addicting! 128539

Food Specialty: Filipino Food
Price: Php 2500.00
Persons: 4 Persons

Aside from the photo we also ordered longganisa for out niece and nephew and menudo.

The serving is ok.
The tuna belly and bbq are huge and just these two caused Php1,100.00 already.

What I dont like about this place is the taste. Nothing specials and it was sad because we could have paid the same with other restaus in Nuvali/Sta.Rosa and get great tasting food.

Oh well, will definitely not come back here 128532

I thought this is a really high end resto, turned out to be class B.

Karends (carenderia) type. We ordered bulalo, pork adobo, ampalaya, tawilis, ukoy. 10 years in service, i heard they were popular of their bulalo. But for me nothing more than a super tender meat... And the marrow is missing! (What's the point of bulalo?!)

The place was really big... So it was popular before nuvali and solenad opened.

The ampalaya really tasted good (bitter and very earthy in flavor)..

Make sure you get your shiny shimmering adobo lips after eating their adobo. Not so tender pork.. Fat portions are always tasting good.

Tawilis.. Hmm.. I get to enjoy this for the forst time.. I didn't feel the bones of the tawilis while eating eat... Boneless???

Ukoy goes well with their ensalada (tomatoes, onions)

Service was not remarkable enough for me.
Not much excitement to go back here.

Loved the speed of service, and the quality of their specialty food! Their bulalo is deserving if the travel you'll have to go through to get there. They also had grilled tuna (in the photo) that I loved so much! All in all, it was a great pinoy family experience in Rose & Grace. :)

All this food and only three of us. Hurray for my mum's first week after hospital - puro bawal lol.

Rose and Grace is one of the most famous bulalo houses in the Southern Tagalog area. And as seen in the picture, they offer more than just bulalo. The chicharon and lechon kawali are good - no maanta taste from the oil. The bagoong accompnying the green mango salad is good too. They do not disappoint.

Place was ok. The food was ok. Price? Ok. See, thats the thing about this place, it's just normal in every sense. Nothing fancy, its a typical bus drop-off watering hole where food is freshly cooked and steaming hot. It serves filipino lutong bahay (home cooked meals).

Had the chance to go back to Rose and Grace yesterday before raiding the shops of Nuvali. 12852210084

We arrived well before lunch time so we had the whole left wing to ourselves for about an hour, then other customers started arriving, just when we were about to finish.

Rose and Grace is famous for their authentic Bulalo. I already posted a photo of it on my previous review so this time, featured on my photo is their Paksiw. 128523

There were six of us. We ordered a bowl of their Bulalo and Tinolang Isda, then two servings each of Paksiw, Pinakbet and Mango ensalada. Then, I think we got 8 servings of rice.

Again, their rice servings were more than enough. A cup of rice looked like it was scooped with a medium sized soup bowl. 128563 But hey, who's complaining? 128516

The bulalo tasted great, as usual! I didn't get to taste the ensalada but everybody else seemed to enjoy it, especially with the bagoong. The Tinolang isda was fresh and well cooked and so was the Pinakbet. The Paksiw was excellent! Tender pork meat with a bit of fat, just how we like it. We kept it away from my mum, ofcourse. 9786

After that early hearty lunch meal we were all happy and ready to hit the shops of Nuvali! 128513

I've only been there twice and the place is always full when we get there, but the servers are quick to clear up tables and attend to customers. 128522
The restaurant is well lit and has a casual setting. Since the place is usually full, you can't really expect it to be quiet and private but there is enough space between the tables for customers to move around comfortably.
Their Bulalo is good. The beef is tender and the meat breaks up easily. I also liked the broth. All in all I think they won't let you down if you went there craving for some authentic bulalo. 128077 Although my personal favorite is their grilled tuna belly. 128513
I would recommend it especially if you came from shopping in Nuvali and all you want is to sit comfortably and eat a warm and hearty meal. 128518128077128077

Hands down, one of the best places in. The bulalo is second only to LZM's. The barbeque, the sinigang na bangus are really good. Shame I will not be able to try everything they've prepared today.

Rose and Grace Restaurant is a local favorite here in Sta. Rosa. I wouldn't have known it even existed if fate hadn't stepped in. Our "Kalamansi Cluster" were on the way to Los Banos with some foreign guests and our president suggested this restaurant for lunch and as a meeting place.

When I arrived there was so much food on our table for 20 that I proceeded to dig into their famous bulalo, grilled tuna panga, BBQ, prawns, and lumpiang shanghai.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to choose what I wanted from the menu but I still enjoyed the grub. Special mention to the lumpiang shanghai. Its one of my favorite fried foods and I'm always on the look out for great lumpiang shanghai.

I know their bulalo is supposed to be their specialty but it was normal to me. Their BBQ is on the sweet side which I don't like but the others at the table devoured it so that goes to show its a favorite here as well.

For an affordable price, the food was great. We only paid Php 3800 to feed about 15 people + tons of left overs. Not bad at all.
