A tell-tale sign that the food is very good is when you see people lining outside the restaurant. Take in case, Rose Cafe. They specialize in chicken mami (noodles in chicken broth) and guisado (a varied version of pancit).

Though a very small restaurant, it will seat plenty of people. Seating is a first come, first serve basis. Tables are of a picnic table style. When one leaves their seat, the next customer in line will fill that empty spot. It will be rare to sit next to your friends. That makes this restaurant unique. Also, once they're out of their specialized dishes, you'll have to wait for the next day in hopes your tastebuds could get a taste.

My favorite dish in Rose Cafe is their chicken mami. By the taste, it seems that the broth has been simmering for hours. With the addition to their special soy sauce, it brings out more flavor of the broth. I'm not too sure if they make their own soy sauce, but I can tell you is that it's not too salty and it compliments the broth perfectly.

My suggestion is to get there early in order to obtains a seat. Because once it reaches noon, it will be a wait. Also, you'll have to not mind if you sit next to a perfect stranger. Hey, you might not know, you'll probably meet a new friend!

Baguio's best pansit. All original. The guisado and mami are heaven. This is truly a must try for those who will be visiting Baguio.
