I love for the following reasons:
1. It’s strategically located, BF Homes!
2. Their food is the BOMB!! Great food for its price range!! At first I was slightly intinidated with the interiors and the menu because it looked pricey, but upon turning the pages of the menu, it made me wanna order everything on the menu! I mean it. Everything looks so appealing and delicious!

We ordered Shrimp Newburg and their Juicy Ribs with Homemade Sriracha and Jamaican Jerk sauce! Plus the onion rings, and it was all sooooo freakin’ good! Soooo good! Why have I just known this now, where have I been eating all this time?!? LOL!

Kidding aside, the food is really really great! Two thumbs up!
3. Their staff is very accomodating in a way that is not annoying! Special mention to our server, Andrey! :)

Will definitely be back! With recommendations to friends!

Ordered a Mint Julep which is supposed to look like the photo on the left. I actually got some brownish water in a wine glass with lots of ice and barely any liquor. My friends got Sangria which tasted more like Virgin Long Island Iced Teas at 300 per glass. What a rip off. See my expression in the next photo.

Met with Jay M for a night cap at Rue Bourbon last night. I wanted to try their big ass caramel beer again but since I’m watching my calorie intake I settled with Rose Mary Royale. Its infused rosemary vodka, cherry and cucumber syrup, coco rhum and lemon lime soda. The collaboration on this concoction was not favored by my taste buds. Prolly because I’m not a fan of cherry flavored drinks.

Their menu is extensive and inspired by southern cuisine. We only ordered spicy seafood gambas with chorizo. Another miss from Rue Bourbon. I didn’t like the chorizo taste enveloping the dish. IMO, the chorizo masked the mussels and shrimp’s character.

Hmm.. At least I had fun with their playlist . Busta Rhymes, Amerie, Kaskade and Bonnie Bailey. All from the time when I still enjoy the banging beats. I also liked the crowd. Most are from their mid-20’s wearing shirt, short and sneakers.

I’ll be back for a decent booze and prolly try one of their desserts. The cast iron baked brownie and butterscotch looked heavenly.

Dont ever try this dish - Seafood Gambas with Chorizo. This was the worst Gambas i have ever tasted. Just remove the Chorizo and it'll probably taste decent.

Already had nachos for that day but that didn't stop me from grabbing another one! Introducing Rue Bourbon's Sisig Nachos! 🌮 Yes, sisig. 128513 There were fats here and there but flavor was just spot on. A lil spicy which was really good to pair with their drinks. 128522

Didn't enjoy the flavored beers here since they were too sweet but I liked this sisig nachos. So good! Super perfect for caft beers. Had the calamares too and it was too salty, again, best for drinking sesh. Lol.
