I love the ambiance, ordered Fish and Chips, Six Cheese Pizza, Rosemary Royale Cocktail and Caramel Beer (sorry no picture of the beer) .

All are in big servings. Medyo pricey, but worth it naman. 127867128077🏻

It’s my friend’s birthday and she celebrated it at Rue Bourbon. She reserved the 3rd floor for private space. It’s also consumable. Head’s up wasn’t able to take note of the name and price of food.

I didn’t like the sisig, it’s was too tough to eat. Nachos was a good pica pica and it had a lot of toppings. Coffee was ok.

The ambiance was nice. But it gets crazy later at night. Lola na ako.

My friend Jbjoz is known for being the Ultimate Chocolate Lady of all times, give her chocolate and she will devour everything in seconds-- fact!

So we went to Rue for after dinner booze loading with the gang. Jbjoz, not really a fan of Alcohol loading, ordered Rue's Lava Cake.

Upon eating it, she called my attention and asked, lava cake should have oozing chocolate in the middle right? And it should be warm.. I said yes and tried a piece as well. It was stone cold. No oozing in the middle and completely & utterly--shame.

She called the attention of the server and asked if she can have it re-heated. Server said they do not heat the Lava cake. Jbjoz called my attention again, (hate it when I can't just escape this one-- I hate confrontations like this, especially if I know that I'm talking to a not so-well informed server).

Jbjoz was like-- she's a chef and Lava cakes should be heated right? -- I just nodded. The server got the plate and disappeared. Went back and said: We cannot heat it coz the ice cream will melt.

Seriously, pre. Please try using some of your brain cells-- sayang nman e. 🙄

Jbjoz patiently tried explaining that the ice cream on top should be removed. Then have the cake heated then you can now put the ice cream back-- right??

Server left and back again: Sorry we do not really heat Lava cakes. 128530 By this time Jb already gave up on the lava cake idea and just said: maybe you should just rename the item on the menu so people won't expect to eat Lava cake while this is clearly not a Lava cake--

Again. Shame.

Enjoyed the flavored beers, we had watermelon wheat and cucumber, there are other flavors to choose from as well. We also ordered the enticing sisig nachos and seafood pasta.128076

Saturday night drinkup with friends here at Rue Bourbon!!!

Although I'm still suffering from throat infection and almost has no voice that night, I still pushed myself to grab a drink and have a good time's the weekend!

Insert Neon Trees song here! 127926127926127926

We arrived around 930pm and the place was packed! Luckily, we got a table inside without waiting half of our lives!

We got our own glasses of flavored beer - I tried their most popular ever, Caramel beer. I got the pabebe glass first just to try it out. Others try the Apple and Toasted Almond while the rest went for the Caramel one. The crew told us that one glass is equivalent to a bottle, and the Big Arse is equivalent to 3 bottles of beer. So that's 1,500ml of beer for 300 bucks! Nuh bad!!! 128077🏼

We also had some food just to pair with our drinks. We got Calamari N' Fries and the Bacon & Beef Potatoes. Both were good but the serving was a bit small, imo. Also, the Bacon & Beef Potatoes simply reminds me of giniling na pinasusyal dahil sa bacon bits and cheese! 128514

After I finish my glass, I decided to get a Big Arse of Caramel beer. Well, it's like a sweetened version of some local beers but with a smoother flavor! My friend who tried the Apple commented that it's like an upscaled version of San Mig Light's Apple beer. My friend who had the Toasted Almond just said, "Lasang almond!". K! Very accurate! Lol.

The place has some nice music playing - ranging from pop remix to classic rock remixes. The whole place looks like a pub with some nice seats and clean bathroom! Parking here could be an issue so you'll surely park your car on the streets.
