Rufo's Famous Tapa is one of our go-to places whenever we are hungry, especially at times when we are avoing fastfood meals. My fave dish is Longganisa. For me, it's the best version I have tasted, including home-cooked ones. There's just something different with the way they cook and prepare theirs.

Meals are priced around PHP 75 to PHP 120 (solo). Aside from breakfast and lunch, it's also a place where you can chill with a beer.

Major plus is that they are open 24/7. So cravings get to be served any time of the day.

I just discovered that Rufo's in now at Araneta Center in Telus Building. It is open 24/7, this is good to those who are working in call centers in Araneta, new place to hang out.

I love my tapa dry dip in vinegar but Rufo's taught me that tapa can be saucy, juicy and great tasting too!

I was wandering around the area looking for a place to eat since most places were closed on account of the typhoon earlier in the day. I saw that Rufo's was open so I decided to go over and had every intention of eating tapsilog. When I was given the menu, I saw that they had new offerings and given that I can eat sinigang everyday, I decided to try their sinigang na bangus. The secret to good sinigang is in the broth and Rufo's sinigang had the right blend of spiciness and sourness which was perfect for a post-typhoon meal. Definitely something na babalik-balikan!

Rufo's famous soup-y tapa is now in Cubao! If you like your tapa to be a bit on the sweet side with lots of gravy, then this is the one for you. They have other new items like sinigang and pulutan. But the food is really nothing to rave about but the best part is they're open 24/7.
