I've been hearing about their famous tapa so when i saw one in mckinley, i had to try it. Well, not all that you hear are true or maybe people just have different taste and likes. Their tapa has too much sauce that it actually tasted more like beef stew than tapa. I prefer my tapa dry and tasty and where I can sometimes dip it in catsup or vinegar. I guess it depends on what suits your palate 128522. Anyway, the price was budget friendly, so maybe next time I should try on their other choices.

Rufo's never failed us to satisfy our cravings for SiLog with a very cheap price. For Php159.00 I got a Liempo served with rice, atchara and kropek and additional egg for Php15.00 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

I wish i could say more good things than bad. Well, i'll try. Food was okay, or should i say it's your typical eatery-around-the-corner-go-visit-when-you're-hungry type of dining place. The whole team decided to go here for a "biglaang yayaan" after shift thingy, and so we went. P300.00 for a bucket of local beer, SanMigLight, Pale, Red Horse, SanMig apple or lemon are the choices with free pulutan of either Dinakdakan ( that looks like "tirang ulam ng kinagabihan" that would fit inside a Gerber bottle ) or Dynamite ( your siling panigang with cheese and pork inside). As usual the Tapa did not surprise me as it was again, typical ( well i don't wanna say Carinderia but it's the closest that i can think of) na tapa. I must say the sizzling crispy chicken was great, their Porkchop meal looks the Cooking ng Ina ko, like literally. Services? The worse so far. Servers were inattentive, they don't even smile, looks like they hate being there but left with no choice. We were enjoying our beers when a server approached and gave us our bill. I was like, "you've got to be kidding me, we're just gettin' started". The server was very persistent in getting our payment without even explaining why. Then we said, " we have a couple of people joining us in a while, why the rush?" That's the time she explained that they need to close the sales for that shift. Man, what is so hard with explaining that? Poor customer service. ( sad face )

It was ok, the meat tenderness is fine but the tapa is too sweet.

Had Rufo's famous tapa for breakfast with the boyfriend. It was just recently when I started eating tapa, and this good. If you like saucy well-cooked tapa, with a sweet twist, you're at the right place.

I was so disappointed when I tried Rufo's Famous Tapa for the first time, as it tasted really awful. If you've read my 1st review, you already knew how disappointed I was back then. Yes - and it was like I'm never going back again - not unless it's free! Lol 128517

On my second time (sponsored 128519), it tasted a lot better. Check out my 2nd review about it.

And.. this time around, I'd rather say that definitely not all first impression lasts. I loved it! What's even more good is that you can actually have it at any time of the day and they're open for 24 hours!

*Burp*

I just ate Rufo's Famous Tapa for dinner.

Got to eat Rufo's Famous Tapa again earlier (for free 128513!). Unlike my previous review about this dish, this time I have learned to appreciate "their" tapa more. The sauce was less soupy, hence tastier. I can say that its quality has improved. 128077

Giving them an additional star for the good impression that had instilled in me after the feeding program. 128540

Sorry to all Rufo's fans out there.. But I just don't get why they're advertising their signature dish as "Famous" Tapa.. When I tried it, in my opinion, there's really nothing special. Even worse is that their tapa is not so tender nor tasty. Perhaps their tagline that says, "Sauce Pa Lang Ulam Na!" should rather be changed to, "Sauce Pa Lang Sabaw Na!" 128561

Where's your best Tapsilog??

Not saying this is my best but I just thought about it while I was eating this early this morning.

When it got served I immediately thought that it looked like pares instead of tapa because of the sauce. I've never seen tapa with so much sauce before.

Although the sauce added more taste to it, it didn't really hit me. I thought right away that the tapsilog at SEx tastes better hence my question of where you guys had your best tapsilog.

A thing that I didn't like is that this simple tapsilog took almost 30 minutes. I hate waiting longer than it takes for me to eat the food. Anyway that's just me.

Disappointed when i ate here, i was hoping for good fast Filipino food like sinangag express or like those typical local "-silog" places.

But no, rice was dry and not correctly cooked. Tapa and other stuff were really mediocre.

I've eaten in more affordable hole in the wall filipino places that taste better than this.

It's not the price, it's about value for money. And i saw no value here, good thing they had employees at least i know the money i paid help keep people employed haha

But aside from that, i don't recommend this place. :-(

My delivery today would have to be the worst delivery service i received from Rufo's.

That's the most sunog Bangus I've ever seen in my life! Omg.

And the iced tea tasted like ice water! I don't know if i should complain it. Parang ang babaw kasi if I complain about the drinks, pero no joke, it's not just "matabang" it's tasteless talaga!128557

We ordered sizzling pork sisig, chicharon, chopsuey. Everything are just normal. But if your a fan of tapa, their famous tapa is a must-try! Their tapa is soft and saucy. With matching fried sunny side up and garlic fried rice, you'll have you breakfast anytime of the day! Btw, they serve local beers and they are 24/7.
