One of our trusted spas in BF Paranaque. One hour of oil massage is heaven for aching muscles.

It's more expensive (P400/hr) than Nuat Thai and Sesitra because of the privacy and ambiance they offer. The place is also very clean and smells really nice. Another thing is that you won't be oily when you leave their spa because hot towels will be used to rub off the excess oils by the end of the session. Hindi mukhang basang sisiw ang peg!

What do we usually do when we want to get pampered or we want to de-stress?

I know, I know, most of you will say "Shopping!!!!" 128540

Me, whenever I feel like Sharon Cuneta (Pasan ko ang Daigdig 127760) and I feel like a human bubble wrap (with all those popping going on my back and my feet), I immediately call my friendly-neighborhood spa.

But I don't usually have a body massage, for me, a good foot rub or massage will do the trick and there's only one place that can do me a foot massage but miraculously makes me feel rejuvenated all over -- Ruyifang Massage and Reflexology.

I've been to a lot of spas to know which ones know what they're doing and which ones are just rubbing your feet until your nodes give up. 128529

Ruyifang so far is the best for me. Simply because they know what they're doing. They know the right points to push so your headache will leave you or your upset stomach stops pestering you. Yup, the operative word is reflexology: the process of applying appropriate pressure on specific areas on your feet, hands, ears, etc. It is believed to be connected to all your body parts for which when properly done will be very beneficial to your well-being.

Ruyifang has therapists properly trained by someone who goes out of the country and researches further studies about the art of massage and reflexology.

As soon as you enter their small spa, you'll be greeted by their warm receptionist, asked what you want done, and be offered with their hot rice tea to make you relax. Then after a few minutes (you won't wait long in the receiving area), you will be ushered inside to uour own room. Each room has atleast 2 huge single comfortable couches that transforms into beds with ottomans on each and a bucket of hot water where you'll sink your feet into to relax your nerves. The biggest room I've been into is a 3-seater room with ample space (not your usual cramped spas with hospital-like massage beds). Their wall divisions are solid, not drawn-out curtains. So you pretty much have good privacy. Each couch have a side lamp for that cozy feel.

As a regular customer, they more or less know what I and my partner want. I usually have the 60 min foot massage. When we get the full body and foot, we choose dry. When you choose dry, you don't need to undress, they can pretty much relieve you of your stress with your clothes kept on. But for relaxation's sake, you are to change to their proper massage attire -- satin shorts and robe. I'm not sure though if you'll be undressed if you choose oil massage. I've never tried it.

Anyhow, body massages are not their excellent point, it's good but you can find better body massage centers around BF. but when it comes to foot massages, this one takes home the grand prize. 128077

I normally would just go for the foot massage because this already relieves me of all the stress and tension and takes away all my nodes (lamig). The therapists are seasoned, you'll know it once they start rubbing your feet. They have sure strokes and each stroke will certainly make you say "oooowwww!!!" Or "aaahhhh" 128522128077

At the end of your massage, you have the option of ending it with a foot ventosa. They used to automatically include it in their routine, however, some people complained so they made it as an option. It's still free/included in your package should you decide to have one.

Everytime I'm done, it always feels like I'm floating. My feet's soft and not stressed as well as my whole body. 128077

They are a bit expensive than the others but It's alright because you get what you pay for. It's not bad also that they give you a free massage on your birthday, just don't forget to register your name and birthdate. 128521
