Cholesterol overload! Crisp thick flavorful pork skin with soft yummy meat. They only serve native pork. But beware of their waitresses they are a litlle bit rude. Place is small and unattractive so I suggest to have take outs. Still Bellychon is the best for me.

I'm always down for Lechon, always! I'm glad Sabroso Lechon knows how to maintain their quality when it comes to this sinful delicacy! Hands down to their delivery service & friendly staff that always pampers me with my usual requests (more skin & more fatty parts) haha! 5 #mindblowin stars for them! 127775127775127775127775127775128525

Lechon skin wasn't that crispy, though meat was tender but lacked flavor, imo. Aside from lechon, they also have steamed vegetables with bagoong.

Overall, still prefer Elar's!

The rainy drive from Taguig to E. Rodriguez was a pain in the butt. Good thing the 1/2 serving of lechon served to us was crispy, hot and soft. Oh my. Haven't had fresh lechon for months. The meat was tasty and fresh and tasted clean. It was more a Mindanao lechon than the famous Cebu version with so many spices. I like this more delicate version better with a bit more salt and lemongrass maybe. 1/2 serving was around P300 plus. Comes with some sarsa, but of course you don't need it. The bottle of vinegar with chili is all you need :) Cheaper than a plane fare. Wink.

I was craving for lechon so I did what any foodie would do. Research the top 10 lechon outlets in Manila. I found 2 which were reasonably near, being in quezon city to say the least. I chose Sabroso Lechon because this place was the nearest Lechon place from where I live.

Everybody wants to know about the lechon skin. Yes. It was crispy and only slightly salted. But as long as it isn't burnt I'm good. The meat had a very faint hint of lemongrass unlike your normal cebu lechon. I'm not entirely sure if this place claims to be like cebu lechon or just like your normal lydia's lechon because it kind of tasted like it was in the middle. You know how sometimes the lechon meat isn't that well-seasoned that you have to really eat it with the lechon sauce? This lechon is one of them. There was nothing spectacular about this lechon, but if you are like me, craving for lechon in the city, this is okay. I say okay because I've tasted way better lechon than this. And yeah, c&t's cebu lechon still tops my list.
