We stayed at Crystal Beach Resort and frankly, we enjoyed our meal here at Saktree more than the food stall at the resort.
Other than the physical heat emitted from a provincial area like Zambales, this place just gives you a warm feeling and coziness inside. One of it’s charm is this simple abode. The food we were served were good old simple spanish sardines pasta and chorizo burger and yet just hit the spot for us. There’s also the green triangles that bf loved so much, we ordered two! The food was as good as it can get, unpretentious and made with passion. It maybe even be better than expected. The banana dessert was so good, shared it with my sister and this makes me wish more now That I ordered two instead back then Coffee here is great here by the way & whole menu us Super friendly price too!
We met the owners, the half naked chef with an apron (who is one of the owner too) and the gf. They were all lovely to talk to. We had a better time dining because of them. Had a good time, a good laugh and food.
Definitely a place worth hitting up when in Zambales.

My last visit to liwliwa zamables just got better when we discovered this new cafe in the area. Sakktree is located infront of Good Karma Hostel which also house a skate park. The ambiance of the place is chill under the tree kind of vibe. Perfect place to hangout after hitting the waves.
Sarah one of the owner who we initially thought was a Korean gladly entertain and chit chat with our group. She told us Sakktree name was derived from Sakto but since the place is owned by three good friends they named it Sakktree. Haha.
For their menu this place gave liwliwa a breath of fresh air when eating since before Mommy Phoebe's Place was the only go to place and the go to food was bagnet. While Sakktree serves various healthy dishes at a very affordable price. Almost everything at less then a hundred. Here are some of the dish that we tried out.
TinaPasta (80PHP) - yummy pasta!!! Always a big fan of oil based pasta with nice hint of flavor from its ingredient. This is something that I can do at home but for 80pesos I'll take it!
Vegetable Triangle (60PHP) - this one is deep fried wanton wrapped blended Kang-kong Cheese. Another simple dish yet so yummy. Something you'll enjoy munching while having a coffee.
🥗Sunday Special - forgot how much it was but I think it was just around 120PHP. This one reminds me of those expensive healthy yogurt smoothies bowl. Their version is composed of cocoa oats topped with banana, avocado, granola and seeds. I love it and enjoy every bit of it and for its price wow this is a sure win!
Monkey Tail (30PHP) - Chocolate dipped frozen banana. Perfect dessert and for the hot weather.
Iced Brewed Coffee (55PHP) - to complete the chillax moment a cold ice coffee. NIce!
Overall perfect place for backpackers like me who want to enjoy food and don't worry about the budget.
