Chill place for barkada dates!

Very cozy place, with multicolored sofas and art paintings on the ceiling. They have variety of menu from sizzling to finger foods, to beer and coffees, to cocktails and hard drinks. It's budget wise and board games are also free for you to borrow!

It has also a smoking and non-smoking area. But I assure you that you'll exit the place smelling cigarettes. 9996 not unless you came in with a few customers :)

It's actually located in the building called 'The Camp' fronting Teachers Camp. A 3-story building where you can choose where to dine or chill. First floor, there you'll find 'Sala' and 'Just Another Good Damn Joint Sick' (Yes, that's the name and people just call it 'Joint'. This place is more of a drinking hub.

Second floor offers 'Ampersand', the disco type. And third is 'Hardin', this one's my fave because it is an open area. Literally, a garden-themed bar/resto. Practically for barkada because tables are consumable for 500-1500..or i guess it depends on holidays or weekends. Plus, there's a live band. Just be prepared for your jackets cause the weather's gonna be bitting!

Food was okay, but the service was so bad. We got the sizzling sisig, which was a big portion for the price. Fish and chips, which was okay. Glazed fried chicken was pretty good.

But let me tell you about the service. Place wasn't full - maybe 4-5 tables occupied, but it took almost an hour to get all orders out. Waitress wasn't apologetic when we followed up. When food finally arrived, no utensils accompanied it. Had to stand and go to the servers' area to get them to bring us utensils. Lastly, they weren't able to take one of our orders, and when we tried still adding it, response was that we needed to wait another 25-30 mins. No apologies at all, waitress kept reiterating that we didn't order it (implying that it was our mistake?) Not sure if they were short-staffed because it was New Years Day, but an apologetic attitude would have been nice and would surely have lessened our frustration.

That said, and in the spirit of being fair, the place had a really good ambiance. Nice set-up, great concept. Wish they hired better waitstaff.

Food was nothing special ... We got pork steak and pork chop of some sort ... Not worth mentioning ... But friendly , smiling crew...

Love the interior of the room... Not the chic type to expect but more on the colorful , cozy feel ... Like a home away from home thing... Big, spacious ... Good place to hang out ... Lots & lots of couch around, a bookshelves & tons of framed artworks on the ceiling ... Cool concept ...

Ratings for the place... If for food ... I'll gv a 2 star maybe or 3 just not to be mean 128541

This place deserves five stars for the ambience and their interiors.
Their ceiling is covered with framed paintings ranging from a distorted Bob Marley to Kermit the Frog.
Place is very colorful and they even have a bookshelf! Yay!

And to the not so okay part of Sala, service was verrrry slow, entertaining interiors could only buy you so much time.
Food was so-so. Prices were average.

Plus one whole star for the interiors! :>

Very cozy, relaxing ambience, ganda nung mga paintings sa ceiling. Literally 'Sala' as in Living Room ang peg. Okay na sana lahat, yung foods lang eh di ganun kasarap and ang tagal ng serving time. Perfect for relaxation.
