This was from my first visit in this place last July when it just opened. I have always wanted to try out this franchise from Singapore in Manila for a long time but had no chances before this. So when they finally opened their doors in Cebu, and just so timely as it was my last week in the island then, I immediately visited and even brought with me a couple of friends who ended up loving the place too.
I had the “Oh Crab La” as I’ve read so many good things about it and I completely agree that it’s a bestseller. All the ingredients on that salad creation is very thought of, and works so well with the Singaporean Chilli Crab dressing. I liked that even as the vegetables were already dressed with the sauce, they were still crispy and very fresh. In spite what a lot of sceptic meat eaters think, their salads are actually very filling. I had mine as a wrap and I really liked it! I think I will always have my Salad Stop! as a wrap any day.
I like the look of the place as well, very bright and simple. The ingredients on their open kitchens are so colorful so you’re very sure of the freshness. The ambiance of the place is pretty much your grab and go type, but still pleasant enough to invite guests to stay and sit through their meal and enjoy it.
All in all, this was my first visit in SS and it was a start of although a pricey habit, definitely a weekly meal worth saving for. Healthy food doesn’t have to be bland or what not. I can definitely attest to that.
