I don't normally eat salad after workout because... meat is life! Well... that's my way of beefing up aside from doing lifting and pulls! But one time, I decided to just try it out and pretend like my Vegan friends! 128556

So I went to this branch that's about to close that night, but they still let me in. Yay! Maybe they thought I was about to pass out since I'm reaaally hungry that very moment. Blame it on the full body workout I made like an hour ago! 128517

So as a noob, the crew introduced me to some of their classics like the Cobb salad, Greek, and Nicoise! Just by looking at the menu I almost thought it's pricey (300 bucks for a salad, and 290 bucks for a wrap), but I have no way out -it's either I take it and get full, or leave it and start dying of hunger outside. So my heart told me to just go for the Cobb salad only because of the grilled chicken! 128514

While waiting for my salad, I noticed how spacious and vibrant their place was. Bright lights, posters and wall arts with everything vegetables.. and yeah, makes me wonder how my Vegan friends can live a day just by eating veggies. Well... that's just my thought during that very moment while looking at the wall arts!

And when salad was served.. Holy Guacamole! This is a really huge plate!!! I immediately took a snap and started eating it! I actually liked it although it was way too overwhelming for me as I know myself as a person who prefer meat and fruits more than veggies. Well, I eat veggies if I had a chance (though I crave for 'em often, weeiirddd!!!), but am not a hardcore gulay eater; maybe just an advanced eater where (or when) okra, bittermelon, and radish aren't included on the list.

So yeah. The serving is reeeally generous! I really thought it was worth the price although I wish there are more grilled chicken on it! 128517 It's actually good for sharing; not sure with the wraps, but it might be, yeah. Will surely try that out on my next visit here...but not so soon, I guess.

We decided to have something healthy for dinner and since we were around BGC, we went for Salad Stop.

I ordered the Hail Ceasar Wrap for P250 and my friend ordered the Man-Go Wild Salad for P260.
The serving for me is generous. I was actually full just eating half of my wrap. Normally, I can take a whole plate down, it was flavorful and satisfying. 9786

I love how they have a huge variety to choose from. You can create your own salad or simply hand pick from their menu. Their greens are always fresh and crisps. 128076

I would like to try their smoothies next time. I must say, if you're looking for a healthier option especially when you're on the go, then this should be one on your list. 🙂

Salad Stop offers muesli cups. This is heaven in a cup. Strawberry, banana, yogurt, other berries, and some yogurt make life so good. It's also for Php150. That's sulit already for something good and clean. 128513

Despite my lack of interest in blah healthy food, I love munching on crisp greens. I make sure to hoard lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and the like whenever I visit Baguio as enjoying salad here in Manila can be very expensive. Most restaurants serve salads with outrageous price tags that make you ask if there's gold in it. I tend to veer away from ordering overpriced salad but I gave in last Friday when my colleagues went to...

SaladStop!

I have read a lot of great reviews about this place but the PHP250-PHP350 per bowl price seems to be too steep for lunch especially when I'm used to just spending... practically nothing as I bring packed lunch. But since it was payday Friday, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to treat myself a nice and healthy meal.

I got myself a bowl of Big Bird (PHP350) with Ranch dressing.

Serving size was huge! The bowl was filled to the rim with Romaine lettuce, smoked turkey, avocado, celery, green apples, and red grapes. It was definitely good for sharing or you could split it to two meals. I opted to do the latter.

Instead of mixing the dressing with the salad, I simply dipped the greens in the ranch dressing.

It was love at first bite. I loved the play of flavors and textures among the crisp lettuce, slightly salty smoked turkey, smooth avocado cubes, refreshing celery, sweet grapes and slightly tangy green apples. But what I loved best was that they were far from being called stingy with smoked turkey.

I packed the remaining half to go and had it for breakfast the next day. And the salad was still as fresh as yesterday.

I made sure to keep the nice SaladStop! plastic container to keep my homemade salads just as fresh.

I’ll definitely be back to try the other signature salads and wraps. 128518

Tried the Nicoise Salad Wrap today (Php 250) and it was pretty good! I tried not to get the same old DIY order and went with a wrap version - my first time!

I replaced the cherry tomatoes and olives with broccoli and asparagus. Kept the lemon and olive oil vinaigrette plus the tuna, romaine, and egg. Pretty good!

It looks small but it's super filling! The only con is that it's super hard to eat because it's tough to put this huge wrap inside your mouth haha. If you're a messy eater like me, you'll have a lot of veggie pieces falling out. Be ready to prepare your plate/bowl to catch them all. 128517

Oh Crab Lah will always have a special place in my heart. It is so good with the right amount of spicy that I'd never grow tired of eating over and over. I also liked that this salad bowl had a generous amount of crabsticks, di tinipid! The dressing was also too good to be forgotten!!! I initially thought that the salad bowl lacked the dressing so I asked for more dressing 128517 i ended up wasting the extra dressing bec the salad already had the right amt of dressing, ooops! 128517 the salad also had a huge serving that's already good for 2! My P260 has gone a long way filling 2 bellies and making it happy at the same time! I got really full even if I shared it with a friend 💯

I also tried the wrap version of this before and I didn't like it as much as I liked the salad version. To all calorie conscious peeps, it might be worth to try the salad than the wrap because it obviously has less calories than the wrap 128521

#thursDate with hubby, we tried Salad Stop as we just wanted something light. Serving was big so me and my husband decided to just order Oh Crab Lah!wrap (romaine lettuce, vermicelli noodles, crab sticks, cherry tomatoes, onions with singaporean chili crab sauce) it was a great choice. We asked to cut it in half. Spent only Php250 for this. :) bang for the buck!

My first review of this branch was like a drunk post. There was so much going on last night and I hit "Submit" prematurely, then totally forgot about it. Huhu Gwen I. can that be deleted? Sorryyyyyy.

Roy Lambert T. said has been wanting to try Salad Stop! but only got the chance to do so yesterday since we were in the area. As we entered, I saw a poster saying they also have quesadilla, but only during selected times of the day. I ordered the Salmon Quesadilla while Roy had the Iron "Wo" Man salad. The quesadilla was okay; a bit weird for me since I'm not used to quesadilla having greens in it. The salad was good. I liked the pumpkin, yellow raisins, and the raspberry vinaigrette in it. The mix of their flavors was refreshing.

This Salad Stop!, I think, is bigger compared to their Makati and Greenhills outlets. I'm not sure though if it gets packed the way I've seen their Makati branch. Although it's self-service, the staff who take the orders are very pleasant.

My Oplan Lose Weight thing which started last year made me appreciate eating greens, specifically salads more. I can't believe I'm able to appreciate salads better now. Wuw! #pahealthy

Salad Stop, finally after a long time of longing, I got to try you. 128514 because we were looking for some snack before our 6:30pm Pound burger session 128518 arrived quite early at 5pm #earlybirds

I got the Iron Wo-Man which I really liked! Baby spinach, roasted pumpkin, diced feta cheese, yellow raisins, toasted almonds, in their raspberry vinaigrette. What a wonderful mix of awesome ingredients! I can't say anything wrong about it. 128525

We also tried the Salmon Quesadilla. Light and interesting mix of greens. It was okay 128077🏻

I have to come back to try more of their salads! An easy 5 star. 128512

If you want to eat something guilt free, try Salad stop.. It's not your typical salad bar.. Try their Oh Crab Lah if you want something spicy with a twist.. You can also go for the Cobb salad and Man-go wild..

One dinner time when I was in the mood to be a healthy foodie (128513), a friend and I had dinner here. The place was suprisingly not full for such timing, so it was a good place to eat and chat.

There were a lot of salad variations in the menu, and customers may choose between actual salad or wrap. I liked the fact that the calorie count for each meal was shown in the menu, but was surprised that each order was at 600 to 800 calories 128563 (At least for the wraps. The salad option had less calories).

I ordered the Jai Ho wrap while my friend ordered the Cobb Salad wrap. The veggies were absolutely fresh and serving size was huge. In fact, one wrap was too much to eat in one seating--I had the rest of my wrap the next day for lunch. Still tasted quite good 128522 In that sense, PHP250 is not too much to pay for.

Will definitely be back!128077🏼

So I finally had a proper meal here and I gotta say, I loved it!

Never thought I'd say this about salad but the Oh Crab Lah was really good 128525 I was even kind of doubtful 128513 It had all sorts of stuff including vermicelli noodles and a spicy Chili Crab Sauce that I wouldn't normally like but it actually works. Even the croutons taste good 128523 The serving portion was also big, I wasn't able to finish it 128563

I would probably remove the onions next time though, but I'd like to try the other salads, their Acai Banana Bread and assorted cookies. 128077🏼

Might be a little pricey at P250 for a salad, but the fresh ingredients & interesting flavors are totally worth it 128522

Thing is, I did not get a salad because they were calorific! I was kinda surprised, goes to show you salad does not always mean low cal. Trying to watch my calorie intake lately as the holiday eating is creeping up on me 128514 I guess this would be good if you're just trying to consume less carbs.

Their popular Oh Crab Lah! has 660 calories for the salad, 833 cals for the wrap. Their lowest calorie salads are the Go Geisha! with 394 cals and Greek Yogurt with 354 cals. Since I only wanted a snack and not a meal, I ended up getting their Greek Yogurt with the granola. It had honey at the bottom and you can choose to mix it up or have the yogurt without it.

The Greek Yogurt was pretty good, I thought it would be too tart but it wasn't. The granola provided crunch & texture.

Nice place to hang out for a bit as it's bright, airy, and spacious.

Seriously, long have I dreamed & wish for a salad joint to happen and thank god it finally did! I love that I have the option to eat healthier.. though I probably will still not choose to 128514, at least may option 🤔 lol.

So we ordered the geisha bowl & caesar wrap. I was actually expecting a typical bad kind of salad which is drenched in dressing and with bad quality of veggies and I was so happy to prove myself wrong. Everything was so fresh and with just the right amount of dressing, which is how I like it. The wrap was insanely good too, really tasted healthy & still flavorful.

Whhyy can't you open somewhere nearer to me so I can be a healthy goat soon! 128514128557128514 Wish they expand soon!!!

We were supposed to go to Crystal Jade one afternoon but it was still closed. Didn't want Earth Kitchen that time so we walked towards the mall and spotted Salad Stop! Been seeing the reviews and IG posts of Carla M so I decided to give it a try.

I'm a huge fan of salad and I enjoyed Juju Eats a lot so I was excited to try this. Hubby, the carnivore, had some reservations but since he's always supportive of what I want, he gave in. I checked their menu and got myself an order of Oh Crab Lah in a wrap while hubby got Sunshine Manila in a bowl. Then I checked what I can add and decided to throw in some bacon 128518 hubby thought it was a GREAT idea so he got 2 orders of extra bacon for his bowl 🤗

Oh Crab Lah was oh la la! So freakin' good! Didn't feel like I was eating salad at all! Embraced by a warm wrap, Oh Crab La had generous heaping of crab sticks, crisp greens, some other veggies, vermicelli, egg and their signature crab dressing. The extra bacon added some saltiness and it made my wrap super delicious! I munched and munched and asked hubby to get another one to go. Another thing I liked about this was the subtle kick of chili.

Sunshine Manila, on the other hand, was citrusy. It had crisp greens, tuna flakes, brown rice, cherry tomatoes with Tamarind Citrus dressing. Loved the addition of the crispy lumpia wrapper that added some crunch. Again, the addition of bacon gave it just the right saltiness and of course made it more delish!

Loved the ambiance of the spacious store. Well lit and really neat. Will definitely go back to try more of their salad creations. Also excited to customize more next time 9786️ happy happy belly!
