No need to say something about this place. I just loved everything about it. 128538128538128538

My new fave!

Ahi Ono is one of two seasonal salads and not having baby spinach available probably improved the dish 128523

Arugula, carrots, mushrooms, and seared tuna on a bed of a healthy helping of adlai (grain/rice alternative) served with ginger dressing was super delicious! I hope they make it a permanent fixture on their menu 🤞🏻

A wise indian guru once said "you are what you eat", might very well be true since when i started looking into my diet for the past few weeks, i felt better than ever. Lol. Maybe that was too cliche. But a few months back, i cant see myself visiting this shop, partly because i have this preconception that goin healthy means more expensive in this city and i think its partly true. But as long as your eating good quality food, an expensive meal is okay.

I think ive tried all the variants of wraps here since im having it every workday, i can attest that all ingredients here are fresh and of good quality. That said they serve loadful of ingredients that would make 300 each wrap worth it.

Well i can only hope that they continie with the same quality and freshness of ingredients.

I had this for lunch yesterday. As per usual, I enjoyed my meal very very much! I had the Oh! Crab La! wrap and it was great. 12857110084️ It was the right kind of spicy I could very well tolerate. The kani and cherry tomatoes and croutons worked so well together, and of course the Singaporean Chili Crab Dressing gave it so much flavor. I really love this salad wrap, even if I have it twice in the same day, I really wouldn’t mind.

I really liked that they allow for their wraps to be served with half of the portion as dine in and the other half to go. 128568

I also had the Strawberry Banana Muesli and it was fantastic! I liked the balance of the flavors of the strawberry and banana. It was so refreshing and had just the right sweetness. It was quite a big serving as well. 128571

I’m really impressed how even though they were packed over lunch, everything came out fast and perfectly. 128568

I will definitely come back and soon! And I’d do regularly even if their price is quite high, I’d say it’s worth the splurge. I usually reward myself with a nice meal after a great work week as pat in the back. 12857110084

Yay because I was able to “influence” another officemate to have lunch here with me. 128129🏻128129🏻

My order: OH CRAB LAH (wrap) because this is the best-est salad here. Agree? OHH YES!!! 🤗💯 I really really love the singaporean chili crab dressing! 128155 I am not a fan of croutons and vermicelli so I would always ask them to replace it with something else.. most of the time w avocado (but not in season.. boo!!!!) so instead I had mangoes and broccoli (they forgot to remove the croutons 128517). Shared this with Jane and she loved this especially the dressing. She kept saying “Ruthie, ang sarap nito!”. 9786

Jane’s order: BIG BIRD (salad). This was just okay. Not a fan of the dressing. I forgot to tell her to ask them to separate the dressing. Oh well, next time. The supposedly “smoked” turkey doesn’t tastes like one. The dressing was too much. Didn’t like the celery so we should avoid celery next time. 128517 The grapes and apple were both sweet and we liked that they added a lot. 128523

PS: After a couple of days, she went back to have more of the OH CRAB LAH! Haha, masarap nga kasi! 128523128521

First time eating at Salad Stop! and I loved it :)

I'd heard about it from my sister for when she lived in Singapore and mentioned that it was opening a branch here in BGC.

The place was packed (lunchtime) and I was impressed with the speedy service, efficient and somewhat impersonal servers (nothing bad, they were being professional)... I get it - they're busy :)

Got the Go Geisha wrap: fresh veggies like edamame, cabbages, carrots, soba noodles, yummy dressing, and the baked salmon made all the difference. I'm wondering now though what it tastes like with tuna...

They also had display shelves full of healthy snacks and smoothies they advertise to the hilt. But back to the salads - I'm hoping to try the Hail Caesar next time (I've seen some good reviews here).

Absolutely will be coming back! Definitely a plus for those of us trying to lose weight or are watching what we eat. Time for healthy living and it starts here.

Salad Stop!!!!! Can't believe I only got to try it lastnight! I had the Hail Caesar and it was hella good even if they ran out of bacon bits. I got cranberries as a replacement and I didn't expect it to go so well with the salad. And I loved how they perfectly coat the salad with the dressing! What a treat!

Yay or nay?

HMMMM.

Nyay?

I don't know. 128528

1st Layer. Chia Seed pudding. Soaked in Soy and Coconut Milk. I liked that it was not too sweet. But was too thick. Maybe because it was soaked a bit longer than usual (i.e., Le Jardin Cafe's and Wildflour's).

2nd Layer. Mango syrup:sauce/puree with sweetened banana, tiny bits of pomelo and strawberries. Let my friend try this and they liked it but for me, IT WAS WAY TOO SWEET. So sweet I asked them to just get the sauce and leave the pudding. Also, would have loved this if they used fresh fruits instead. Or just use banana + granola. 128542

For 150 pesos, I don't think this is worth it. I'd rather get Le Jardin Cafe's Chia Bowl which is just 180 pesos. Huhu, sorry Salad Stop. Huhu this one's not for me. 128542128557

Yoooo I could eat here every week! Got my usual Hail Caesar with basil pesto dressing instead of the caesar and extra baked salmon! My friend got the tuna san. Didn't look as appetizing as mine but he said he liked it. 128540

"Forced" the officemate to eat salad with me! 128518🤗

He ordered TUNA SAN while I ordered my fave, OH CRAB LAH! As expected, I enjoyed and loved my salad!! I'm too happy again! 128155 My officemate, on the other hand, was not that happy with his salad. He liked it but bitin. The tuna was too small daw. Hahaha so we went to Mad Marks for ice cream! Bawi ang salad! 128514

Service was good here. Servers were all nice and oh, another trivia slash tip, you can ask for as many breadsticks as you want! Wag lang abuso, oki? 128521128521128521

Salad Stop for lunch because must eat better and healthier. And also, was feeling down so I need to eat something that will make me happy. Hence, Salad Stop and Jamba Juice for lunch. 9786️🥗127865I

I usually get the Cobb Salad or the Oh Crab Lah (the best! 128155), but this time I decided to try the HAIL CEASAR - romaine, parmesan, croutons, egg, bacon bits, classic ceasar dressing [Wrap - 260; Salad - 250].

The salad was good, veggies were crisp and fresh. Generous salad dressing and add ons/toppings. But I don't think I'll order this again. Also, I forgot to ask them to separate the dressing. 128542 I still love the Oh Crab Lah (the best kasi yung dressing!!). 128525128525

This is actually a good salad option for those who are not really salad fans, a good salad introduction. 128521

PS: You can ask for extra bread sticks FOR FREE! Yas, free! 128521128077🏼

I LOVE SALAD STOP. Seriously. It never disappoints and always, always, delivers. In terms of taste, ambience and most importantly, satisfaction! It gets you full without you feeling bloated. My favorite to order is the Hail Caesar except I change the dressing to basil pesto instead of the classic caesar dressing. You get to ask for extra dressing too! (It's free) Crossing my fingers that they open a brach in McKinley soon.

Sometimes management simply doesn’t give an ear. I have been a visitor of other branches and my request for extra spice has ALWAYS been in vain. Why only serve Tabasco sauce when that primarily alters taste. It is also unnatural with preservatives and additives. Isn’t that a conflict to what they believe in? I simply ask for chili flakes or powder which are good for you. Yes, natural. It is good for immune system, digestion and increases metabolism.

Enough of the rant. I am still a fan of their fresh salad or wraps. On this trip, my friend and I tried their create your own version. It allows you to choose up to 8 toppings with some ingredients warranting an additional charge. The spinach for example adds up Php 110, chicken Php 50, edamame, Php 30, avocado Php 30 and so on. The typical cost ranges from Php 240-350. Ours was Php 560! Quite alarming. 🙂 We discovered though that you can have salad and wrap when you do this.

We also had the Seafood Chowder. Skip this. It tasted like run down hospital food. It has no character. Maybe they should have charged more to make it better. A bowl cost only Php 100.

Another experiment was their Yellow Mellow. It has passion fruit, mango and pineapple. It was okay. It could have been better if they did not combine potential sweet and sour fruits together. Maybe a banana component could have minimize that.

Nice bfast place to go to after your morning jog around BGC. Tried their Summer Fling salad, which was mixed with quinoa & roasted chicken. Wished their dressing could have been tastier, though. A bit pricey for a salad, but one serving is enough to share 9786

Salad Stop! is top-of-mind when it comes to ridiculously delicious salads. You can make your own but they have "Signatures" which you can still mix and match.

In photo is their Man-Go Wild but I changed the dressing to Japanese Miso. Super good!128154128154128154

If you could only eat at one restaurant everyday, which one would it be? Someone asked me this question before I was able to try Salad Stop!. I gave a different answer then, but I think I have to go with Salad Stop! now.

Eating wide awake-- that is their philosophy. They deem to ensure that we are putting the healthiest, best quality food in our bodies. I'm very guilty of eating lots of junk and fried food as well as sweets. So, I really appreciate that there are now restaurants that cater to the health conscious and promoting a healthy lifestyle. It is true what they say that prevention is always better than cure.

There are a lot of different pre-made salads to choose from; you can even swap out some ingredients if you are so inclined. Building your own salad is also possible. No need to be limited by the pre-made ones. Personally, my go-to salad is their Cobb Salad. I swap out the egg and avocado for mangoes and grapes. I also like their Big Bird salad, but I also swap the avocado this time for corn. I have also tried their Oh Crab La, but I'm not a fan of kani and the chili crab dressing. Even if there are a lot of calories per salad, remember that this comes from good and easily digestible sources. Fries may have the same amount of calories but they are not packed with vitamins, fiber or proteins. Hence, empty calories that our body has no use for. Except as building blocks for fat.

I know that P250-320 seems like a lot for a salad, but think about all the benefits this provides for your body. So swap out the pizza/burger for a salad, at least some of the time!128515

P.S.
This place was our obsession for a few weeks... Both GH and BGC branches.10084

I don't normally eat salad after workout because... meat is life! Well... that's my way of beefing up aside from doing lifting and pulls! But one time, I decided to just try it out and pretend like my Vegan friends! 128556

So I went to this branch that's about to close that night, but they still let me in. Yay! Maybe they thought I was about to pass out since I'm reaaally hungry that very moment. Blame it on the full body workout I made like an hour ago! 128517

So as a noob, the crew introduced me to some of their classics like the Cobb salad, Greek, and Nicoise! Just by looking at the menu I almost thought it's pricey (300 bucks for a salad, and 290 bucks for a wrap), but I have no way out -it's either I take it and get full, or leave it and start dying of hunger outside. So my heart told me to just go for the Cobb salad only because of the grilled chicken! 128514

While waiting for my salad, I noticed how spacious and vibrant their place was. Bright lights, posters and wall arts with everything vegetables.. and yeah, makes me wonder how my Vegan friends can live a day just by eating veggies. Well... that's just my thought during that very moment while looking at the wall arts!

And when salad was served.. Holy Guacamole! This is a really huge plate!!! I immediately took a snap and started eating it! I actually liked it although it was way too overwhelming for me as I know myself as a person who prefer meat and fruits more than veggies. Well, I eat veggies if I had a chance (though I crave for 'em often, weeiirddd!!!), but am not a hardcore gulay eater; maybe just an advanced eater where (or when) okra, bittermelon, and radish aren't included on the list.

So yeah. The serving is reeeally generous! I really thought it was worth the price although I wish there are more grilled chicken on it! 128517 It's actually good for sharing; not sure with the wraps, but it might be, yeah. Will surely try that out on my next visit here...but not so soon, I guess.
