Mom had lots of stories of our grandpa always buying stuff from this particular bakery (not the original location anymore) so we had to drop by and buy some nostalgia. Their hopia and other pastries are good, no wonder why people flock here.

If you love hopia, you gotta try this- salazar's special hopia! It's so gooood 9786️ this one is monggo because that's the only type of hopia i eat. The outer layer is flaky and the filling is sweet and smooth. It also has nuts and seeds in it.

It goes for 45Php each. I think that's a pretty decent price since one hopia is as big as my hand and it's quite filling when you finish one whole piece. I tried to avoid eating it everyday but i failed. Finished one box by myself in under 4 days. Ohhh, the calories.

We usually stop by here whenever we're in the area! Got asado roll, chicken roll, chicken pie, tikoy, tikoy rolls and almond jelly! Hayy taste of childhood 128077128077 my mom and dad usually buy breads here and would give us "pasalubong" when we were still kids. 128077128077128077

Try the asado rolls and chicken rolls! I promise you won't be disappointed because the filling is packed with meat! You won't feel that tinipid feeling 128514 and the almond jelly is just to die for!!

I queued up for this my fav. Besides my precious hopia there are also other Chinese pastry attractions such as ampao, peanuts, Chinese delis and variety of hopias like baboy the dreaded mongo for arthritic individuals plus the chinese dates the salted kiamoy etc...wish I would rate 5 but the queuing made me second thoughts 128513

I came here for pork buns to bring home to my Mom. I bought one each cause they have different flavors to see which one i'll come back for in the future. I had an asado roll, pork and pickle roll and a chicken roll. All of them were good, but the Asado roll was the best! 128077

Got some more stuff for "pasalubong" for my parents here at Salazar bakery. They have lots of varieties of treats here such as Tikoy, mooncake, different varieties of hopia and mamon and a lot lot more.

I got the Hopia with "something" and salted egg and oh boy, this was just delicious! Not too sweet and everything inside gets along with each other in your mouth. It was really good! Too bad I only got 2 packs of it, I kinda regret that though and badly wish I got 5 more. Lol. My mom seems to like it as well. She even ate most of it and nothing's left for my dad and lola. Hahaha. 128517

They're almond jelly is very good! You may purchase it at a cheaper price if you don't take the plastic container. 128522
