Fewer choices than the other branches and the parking was limited.

I always love Sambokojin, especially because they have added more to their offerings. I just hope this branch could make kani kuri just like in Eastwood!

We were there as early as 5pm because we didn't have a reservation. I still loved everything they served - prawns, salmon, mushroom wrapped in beef, kani wrapped in bacon, squid and a whole lot more. I also love that they now have the bottomless soda, fruit juices and fruit shakes for only 90!

It's easier to get a reservation here since it's a stand alone resto but they don't make my kani kuri here 128553

Always at peace when I'm in my element. Jap food FTW! The venue is kinda small compared to the one in Eastwood though. But heck! The staff are accommodating and they gave me loads of Shake sashimi and a lot of Ebi Tempura!

Food - 11088110881108811088 food was all good. I'm not quite a fan of japanese/korean but I loved it all!! I just find it quite 'nakakaumay'
Ambiance - 11088110881108811088 good lighting and not too crowded
Service - 1108811088110881108811088 fast and attentive crew
Price - 11088110881108811088 costly but worth it. Hello, that's a buffet right? 128522

Somehow, it like the Eastwood branch better. It has more food options. 128077

I love Japanese foods and I love buffets.

Hubby my son and i are craving for a good Japanese foods and one if our friend once said before that Sambo kojin is a great place for Japanese Buffet. I immediately search for the place and we opted to dine at their Edsa branch.

We arrived around 8 pm and food are already limited but the server told us that they are refilling so its OK and so we go straight to their fresh and marinated foods for grilling. I am a fan if shrimps and they give me 2 kinds on in a foil pealed and with spices and butter YUM! really really good 127775127775127775127775127775 and the one that is just pealed and not seasoned this one hubby's preference.

Their Japanese selections are wide indeed but quality wise it didn't pass on my liking. Their California maki is not firm and didn't taste the mango at all. I have to ask for mayo since i an used to have it with mayo on top. So 127775127775 for this

Their beef for grilling is 127775127775127775127775127775 we love all of them... Fresh, juicy, tender and seasoned... I think my son had more than 1000 grams of it 128079128079128079 sulit na on what we paid.

The cooked food are mostly Korean and Japanese and all are so and so... Give them OK 127775127775127775

The downfall of this Buffet place is their dessert. It is limited and tasteless. I have a sweet tooth and i bake and it is such a disappointment serving sich kind of sweet goodies. 127775 for dessert.

It is just priced well. It is worth on what you paid for. It is more than SULIT for my son since he is a carnivorous.

Over all rating is 127775127775127775127775 for the freshness of seafoods and meats for grilling.

It was monday and less crowded so we really enjoyed our dinner. I love the simple elegance of their black, white, and red interior. The assigned waitingstaff to our table was very attentive. He also showed us how to mix dipping sauces ( I wasnt really paying attention because I was already making a mental note of what to get first).

I went gaga over shrimp, lobster, beef and everything wrapped in bacon. My eldest attacked the sushi and sashimi bars. And my youngest drooled over desserts. So I started grilling and at the same time munching on a plate of appetizers of dilis, kimchi, bean sprouts and potato marbles. I also requested for kamameshi rice and a bowl of sukiyaki for my youngest. Kamemeshi is available upon request. There were cooked meals that we didnt even bother to try. We did sample the foiled shrimp, veggies and fish miso --and theyre good too! The dessert has limited selection of cakes, ice cream, cream puffs, fresh fruits, and shaved iced desserts. The only thing that stood out was the creme brulee. Well, you did not go here for the dessert, you went here for the yakiniku. Value for money is 4/5.

Been to the place several times already, my favorite buffet restaurant! am glad with the improvements.

this is the first time that I made something crazy out of my usual plain vanilla ice cream. Maaaan! crushed grahams makes miracles and with the added kiwi's sourness it was like eating a creamy froyo! cool! my favorite dessert na to! 128523

So a couple of weeks back, my little brother graduated from uni and decided to have his graduation dinner at Sambo Kojin. Even if we had a reservation, we made sure to come early just to make sure everything was okay.

Our seats (we were a group of about 16) were put at the far end of the restaurant, near the kitchen, and we were seated right after we noted our reservation.

The servers were really nice and we had this one server, RJ i think, who was especially diligent in making sure we were all happy and had all our orders and so on. Even though we were quite a huge crowd, he made sure our glasses were filled and plates were taken away.

For food, I made sure to go for the sushi. I also loved how there were so many meat choices for grilling. Was a little sad though that the tonkatsu table was always out of food, and since our food was at the far end, I could never catch them refilling the station in time.

Only two things got me down during my experience here...
One, the sight of a roach. I know restaurants, especially places like this with buffet and grill, can't avoid roaches and the like...but still...ew.
Second, there was this other server (whose name i cant remember), it felt like he was ignoring me. I remember at least two times that i would raise my hand and he'd see me, i motioned for a refill for my iced tea and he asked for me to wait, and...he never came to refill my glass. There was even a time that I asked for water refill, he saw me and asked me to wait again (albeit the fact that the water pitcher was right beside him), and a couple of minutes later my cousin asked for a new glass of water, and he got serviced ahead of me by this waiter...who in turn forgot my refill.

The thing that made me happy right before i left was getting handed a stamp card that was already filled (1stamp per diner, 10stamps to a card). I can exchange that card for a free buffet meal!

Oh buffets, you gotta love them!!! :)
Also, little brother got to eat for free since they had a graduation promo..

Our balikbayan friends treated us here. We are a fan of yakimix so we are eager to try this new resto. I loved the tempura, sushi, chap chae. For d grilling part, my all the fave is the bacon with mushroom. I did try one with aluminum foil. It was a delight! Would like to come back again.

Btw, minus 1 star coz the service of drinks was bad. I repeated my daughter's order of ice tea 5 times before it was given. Even my friend's order of coke light was repeatedly reminded.

It was packed when we got there but we were thankfully seated since we were only a party of 6. There were plenty of dishes to choose from. You could cook your own but you could also have some cooked dishes. There was plenty of tempura but you had to be witty or patient since they run out fast. Plenty of sushi also. But the dessert was disappointing there was some icecream, cakes, and a make your own halo-halo but that was it. Eww. Service was alright. Is it worth it? Well if you're really into korean/ japanese food yeah! This would be a good place to try.
