So my little brother just graduated junior high school and we decided to celebrate where ever he wants. He was scrolling on his facebook news feed when he saw this restaurant page that has many likes and good feedbacks and so he decided he wants to eat there. This restaurant is Sambo Kojin. We ate at the 3rd Level, MEGA ATRIUM, SM Megamall branch. We ate on a Sunday so operating hours were much longer starting from 10:15 am until 9:30 pm.

As stated on their website, Sambo Kojin takes the lead in satisfying Japanese and Korean grill diners not only with its top grade US Beef and premium seafood main features, superior grilling and food safety technology, complete newly-cooked Japanese and Korean culinary favorites but by bringing in the authentic features and origin of Japanese yakiniku houses. From the kitchen God, to your table, Sambo Kojin creates a dining experience to be relished, repeated and remembered.

Upon arriving at Sambo Kojin you have to wait to be seated first and honestly I like how systematic they are. Best part of the dining experience was you get to cook your own food right in front of you. We cooked some beef, shrimp packs, squid packs and many more! Recently they just included an all you can drink juice or fruit shake on their price and also some new dishes too! Since it was summer the all you can dribk was worth it on my part. All in all service was great because there were a lot of waiters to happily get what you requested and deliver the food you ordered. They also had this promo wherein the graduate could eat for free as long as there were two paying adults. So it was definitely worth it. Glad to have experience this at Sambo Kojin! Will surely be back for more! 10084

I didn't get much nicer pictures because it was a late breakfast and lunch, we were too hungry and my girlfriends and me has too much to catch up after a year of not seeing each other.

Wow I love it here! This is now my favorite among his rivals. Although, choices are not as many as other buffet, some of it is not even needed anyway and are always left unnoticed like the bread and tapas section. Here for me all the stations are worth a pinch or more hehe and delicious and special! You can go and have unlimited grill of meat, veggies and seafood, ramen, hot and cold soba, sushis, gyozas, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, different varieties of tonkatsu, salad bar/kimchi bar, delicious cakes and yoghurt, including green tea ice cream and pudding. They almost have everything you can eat in a Japanese and Korean restaurant and street food.

From their add from the entrance door they are now serving lechon that they call in a different name that is so tasty and crispy! Another new on the menu is their Angus roast beef that is very tasty. They even gladly shared to me the ingredients and how to make it.

It is also reasonably priced at 849 on weekends and 649 on a weekday lunch. But be warned this buffet is perfect for those who love Japanese and Korean food, they have very limited Filipino and western food options.

My only complaint is most of their male staff are inattentive and masungit. Oh as for the beverages, don't expect too much, they only serve fresh fruits shakes, sodas, lemonades and iced teas and no beer and wine. I am not sure if they have sake since they serve Japanese food.

I am excited to come back! 128156

My favorite buffet place ever! I’ve had a chance to dine here again last month, and ohh boy, we we’re so lucky because Sambokojin just announced and introduced their new food section, the premium meat carvings which is awesome! 128561128512 They are the first branch to have these meat selections. They now have Buta Hara Rosuto (roast pork belly), Hitsugi Rosuto (roast leg of lamb) and Gyuniku Rosuto (roast beef). I’ve tried all of them and the presentation was perfect. It was roasted and cooked impeccably. The juiciness of the meat was maintained and it was served in a generous portions. My favorite is the Gyuniku Rosuto.9786

And since Sambokojin added some new dishes, they’ve also included their fruit shakes, juices and sodas in their buffet at no extra cost!128521

As always I still enjoyed my salmon sashimi and ate a lot of it haha. The bacon asparagus wrap and bacon cheese wrap is still as fresh and tasty as before. As for the desserts, the chocolate mousse wins my heart and tummy! Ice cream is a good option too!

Love love love! I love to eat and I love Sambokojin sooo much, worth every peso! 128076

The service was amazing, we had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated. We paid about P800 for our meal. I thought it was by far the best buffet that I've experienced in Manila, better than Vikings better than buffet 101, A little bit better than Dads. This will be our new go to buffet restaurant.

They've got a wide variety of choices on the buffet table (Mainly, Korean and Japanese), and they serve it with utmost quality.

I just had an issue with the service team, they just weren't paying that much attention to the guests.

You won't believe this but this is my first time dining in at Sambokojin. Mainly because I only liked Yakimix for buffet. 128514

I told the receptionist that its my family's first time to be there so she toured us around first and showed their buffet spread. The place is really big and comfy. And luckily, there's no waiting list so we were accommodated when my parents agreed that we eat there for dinner.

What I loved about this buffet are:
1. Food were divided in sections that aren't cramped as compared to Yakimix. Food were also labeled accordingly, and also states which country the dish is from which is good.
2. Staff are FRIENDLY and anticipates what you need; I was having a hard time using the chopsticks so the staff offered me a fork.
3. Its cheap! Only Php 849.00 per head, inclusive of drinks already (Juices, Shakes, and Sodas).
4. No service charge. 128514 128077🏽128077🏽128077🏽
5. Their desserts... I can't even explain my happiness especially when I learned that there was a CREPE STATION. But I wish they add more flavors as they only offer Blueberry and Mango flavors. But its okay, I loved it!!

I recommend this if you have a birthday celebration coming up as the celebrant gets to eat for free as long as he's accompanied by 2 full-paying guests. One of their upcoming promos is for the graduation season, March, so the graduate gets to eat for free also until two weeks after graduation. 128077🏽

5 stars for their desserts and matcha ice cream! Ahh... Sarap. I like their choco fountain next to matcha. 128525 Very good strategy, because after you binge on pork, beef, seafood, you'll crave for something sweet or "pampatanggal umay". 127846
We havent tried the korean dishes (kasi we're too shy to ask how to eat this and that..haha) but we can always come back.

Ansarapppp! I haven't tasted all. But lahat ng natikman ko are masarrappp! The Ramen is flavorful, the hipon are really hipon, haha. The cakes are masarap. Yun lang masasabi ko kase mga 6 dishes lang kinain ko. Hahaha. Oh, masarap din ang Korean fried chicken nila. Worth ang pag spend ko ng time dito for my birthday! Hehe. Could have been 5 stars kung di nakakalito ang unlimited drinks na add on pa pala. Di kasi pinaliwanag. Bigla nalang nag alok ng flavor. Parang lahat ng staff treated us like ilang beses na kami dun eh it was my first time and 2nd time ng kasama ko. And parang common nalang ang may birthday. Hahaha. But again, the food are great! So babalik pa ko siguro, pag may nag birthday ulit. Hehehehe.

WOOT WOOT! Today, me and my friends experienced food coma for only Php 374.50! 128562

We were lucky enough to have called early and have a table reserved good for 5 for only Php 374.50 per person from the regular price of Php 749. I think this is only my 3rd time pigging out in Sambo Kojin, and I must say that i'm addicted to their bacon wrapped asparagus128525! Haha!

The catch for this discounted price offer is that you're only given 2 hours to stay and eat whatever you want9200. So if ever you feel that you still want to consume more souls128123... i mean food, to satisfy the fat kid inside you128055, and you still have extra cash128184 to pay for the regular price instead of the promo one... then by all means stay for as long as you want and eat until that little voice in your head pleads for you to stop🚫.

This promo is for Sambo Kojin's 5th anniversary that will run just for today. 127881🖖
