And I am full! 128055

It's been almost two years since I last ate here. Not really much of a buffet gal. Their selection did improve as they have a carving station now. The meat selections were pretty decent. Food here was okay too. And yes, unlimited drinks! 127865

Its my first time to try sambokojin and I really enjoyed it!

All my japanese favorites are here! sashimi, katsu, ramen, soba, takoyaki, tepanyaki, sukiyaki, and more!!

I was also surprised to see a carving station! They serve lamb, Beef and pork Bellychon 128514128523

The dessert was good too! Love the matcha ice cream on my waffle cone 128513

Also They were very good at refilling their food, given that the house is full 128077 good job!

March means BIRTHDAY MONTH! 10084️ (Yes, yes. Maverick Christopher P and I were born on the same month) so what better way to celebrate than stuffing ourselves silly with all these good food? 128539

Sambo is probably the ONLY buffet that will allow you to avail of their birthday promo with just one full-paying customer. So we took that advantage and ate our hearts out.

The rules are: You can avail of the birthday promo 3 days before and after your birthdate and on the birthdate itself. Yes, you can eat there for 7 days straight and it wouldn't be a problem. 128514

What I love about Sambo is their friendly male crew and how attentive they are. (Sorry, but most of their female crew is just so snooty, I can't even with them) 128530

Tips for the First Timers:

You can actually have your shrimps skinned before cooking them.

Don't eat rice! It'll spoil your appetite.

Order the cucumber lemonade, it's amazing!

Finally after planning for months, we were able to try out Sambo Kojin. The first time I tried it, a very sweet lady treated me to take out. So it really sick with me, good Japanese and Korean food from this place.

Upon entering the place, I found it very cozy. You can definitely say class A. You are escorted to your seat, where you will see the big circle in the middle cooking pot. Being a big fan of anime, this was a big win for me. Cooking in it was definitely an experience.

They had a lot of offerings. Something to keep in mind if you are not familiar, don't be shy to ask. What food needs to be cooked and what is ready to be eaten. Desert section could be improved thou.

Their tempura was perfect, always filled up to the brim. Unlike other buffet restaurants. Thanks to chef Jay.

Can't wait to go back, still alot of food I missed tasting.

Celebrated my birthday here and I loved everything except their service. Seeing their staff ignoring most of the customers that were trying to get their assistance was displeasing and unprofessional. Hope the management can do something about this.

Love this branch! I've only been to this one and the one along West Ave, QC. Not to be biased, but eat-all-you-can buffet branches in the north are crowded tenfold. It's more spacious here and there wasn't even a line outside considering it was a Saturday. I also loved the service! No difficulty flagging down a waiter for drink refill and they even give you fruits without having to ask.

Also love the consistent quality (except for the salmon, my mom said the 11am batch of salmon was more fresh than the 2pm batch). And katsuuuu!! For someone like me who can live on katsu alone, this place is heaven! Ever since I tried this place I keep forgetting that Yakimix exists.

This is not my first time eating at Sambo Kojin but this would be my first review about it. We went here for my brother's birthday since like most of the huge buffet restos, they offer free from fees for the birthday celebrants well except they are accompanied by one full paying adult.

I've always liked Sambo Kojin because of their wide and unlimited variants of Korean and Japanese cuisine. Why I am loving them now is because they expanded their selection! Now they have included Japanese and Korean pancakes, Yakitori and Takoyaki sections. They have also widened their varieties of sushi and sashimi (i love the presentation too!) and as well as they have added more types of korean side dishes. Their desserts have also improved especially with the cake. I fell in love with the chocolate cake with strawberry toppings upon seeing it and grabbed a huge portion before everyone sees it.

This buffet place has never disappointed me and had impressed me more with their expanded collection of gastronomic experience.

Ate here with my sisters and I found out that they offer a treat for those who have a birthday, which I loved (a person who has his birthday is free 3 days before or after the birth date as long as he was with atleast a friend) because the person even gets a song and a cake from the servers! Hahaha

Not really a fan of this buffet because I'm not very keen with the type of setting where the tables are arranged so close to each other. Not to mention that the line was so long (we had to wait for almost 2 hours just to get a table although considering that it was on a weekend, I thought, okay fine.) Although the girl who was assigned in front of the restaurant to take care of the list was annoying, she was frowning at us the whole time that I almost snapped at her. By the time we got inside, we were seated right in the middle (where there were so many kids roaming around and everybody was talking so loud) and were so hungry that I forgot to snap a picture of the food that we got 128514 I'm glad that their special beef tasted good and that their salmon sashimi were fresh. However, I wish that there were more dessert choices and that they anticipated how many people were going to eat there. They stopped taking out desserts by the time we went to the dessert bar and so I only got to try two mini slices of cakes.

We happen to spent our super-mini-HS-Christmas-reunion here.

We got there at around 3pm and we departed maybe on or before 9pm. Super sulit right? Nakailang customers na ung parallel table, ganon kame katagal.128513128513
Me & my bff organized our mini get-together so we went there early, its nice that we got seated right away.

So many array of choices, sushi, sashimi, tempura, seafoods, desserts and of course the to-grill meats/seafoods/veggies.

Those that stand out for me were there of course those bacon-covered-things-that-we-grilled and of course the green tea ice cream 128154128154128154. I heard that they used big scoop ice cream so #MatchaBeenLove.

I enjoyed being involved in the cooking process so I volunteer as the griller(please correct my grammar128514) and it adds to the food experience.

Also, one of the waiters volunteered to give us an okonomiyaki and it was tasty and just right.

We get-eat-get-grill-eat-wait for others to come that I was super uber full. Ambigat ng feeling but then sooo satisfied.

Super fun and happy moment when we reminisce some events in HS.

128073Just one thing, the drinks other than ice tea was not included with the buffet rate.128531

Eat-all-you-can Japanese and Korean dishes. Some served on the buffet spread, others pre-seasoned for you to cook on your table stove. It's an ideal family dining activity which Filipinos usually go for. Especially on weekends. There are hits and misses, but Sambo Kojin is well worth every penny you'll spend. My top 3 sets I suggest you raid would be the Maki, Tempura, and (if you're one of those dessert-first diners) Ice Cream sections.
