It feels so good to be back in this area, and not just to drop my sister off to school! 128522

A lot has changed since I was here, especially the restaurants. When I craved for Korean barbeque, I remembered this place and invited my sister for lunch.

The restaurant opens at 12nn every Sunday, and of course we were there around 12:15pm 128518 They just opened and was still preparing the place when we sat down.

We ordered their Unli 2, which includes both their pork and beef meats for P530 per person. This is also inclusive of the side dishes (and soup, which isn't in the pictures) They used to have the unlimited Korean barbeque every weekends and holidays only, but to my surprise, the buffet menu now states EVERYDAY UNLIMITED KOREAN BARBEQUE!!! 128561 Another thing that changed in their offering is the inclusion of the unlimited rice! Back then you'd have to pay for the orders of rice separately! Of course they also have their leftover policy of P50 per person.

The pricing of their unlimited barbeque is actually cheap, if you really think about it. It's quite the same with what other Korean restaurants offer, the only difference is the variety of meat to choose from. Other places only have either pork or beef, while this one has 9 choices.

We had the dae-pae (Samgyupsal), beef samgup and two orders of the yangnyum beef. If we ordered all of these and the rice outside the unlimited promo, it would have cost us more. The samgyupsal was the first to be served. After we finished the first plate, that's the time they served the next plate and so on. Our favorites are the beef samgyup and the yangnyum samgyup. The latter is also beef except that it had that sweet and a little spicy seasoning. I think too much of this would be so nakakaumay.

Their service was off this time. The servers were not so friendly and quick to attend to the tables. I'm not sure if they were just undermanned, but the security guard even helped already and it still wasn't great.

This will continue to be part of my go-to places when craving for Korean barbeque, primarily because of the unlimited promo and the cheap price that comes with it, although there are lots of Korean barbeque places that I haven't tried yet. We'll see 128522

This place is one of the hidden gems of Taft! I've shared countless meals with friends here and
enjoyed each one of them.

The place is usually packed so dapat willing to wait ka; Sundays are no exception. Also, wala silang parking, Kapitan Tikong is a narrow street lang. Maraming cars/jeepney ang dumadaan here going to Singalong, so better park along Leon Guinto or Dagonoy St. before going here.

We usually order a platter of beef samgyupsal and another platter of pork. Enough na yun for a group of 3. The green leafy vegetable you use for wrapping and all the side dishes are unlimited.
In my opinion, there is no need to order rice kasi distracted ka grilling the meat, pag lagay ng side dish at pagwrap ng food and syempre sa pagkain, hindi na napapasin yung rice. yung other food, havent tried talaga since samgyupsal is enough na for me. Haha. Anyway, they also have a variety of korean ice cream here for dessert too but no bingsu ha!

What i don't like about this place is their wash area and comfort room because its not well maintained. Walang soap and mahina pa yung water.
What we do instead is we bring our own wet wipes and alcohol to clean our hands before eating and clean the grease from our hands after eating naman.

Notwithstanding this dilemma, I'd still go back here again and again and again. Go Korea, Go! 🇰🇷

Okay, another resto I've been eyeing around Taft! Finally got to try it on our couple's night! Yes, we should do this more often guys! 128514128514

If you ever crave for Korean dining for less than 500 php, you should try Samgyupsalamat! Sheena said that during weekdays, they have a promo of unlimited meat + side dishes! Since we went there on a Saturday, the only unlimited is their side dish.

This was my first time eating Korean food and I really loved the experience! You'll be the one to cook your own food! Yay. The boyfriend did all the cooking tho. (WAY TO GO MR HRM! Haha)

Since we were eight, we selected four meats and shared everything.

From the pork menu, we tried: moksal and gochujang samgyupsal. And from their beef menu, we had: beef bolgogi and beef samgyupsal.

I loved the beef samgyupsal because it tasted like bacon! However, their good for two serving is only for me! Hahaha. It's so bitin.

The unlimited side dish were good as well! Especially the kimchi, ugh! My first time to try kimchi and I'm glad it's with them because I loved it. The soup was good too! Soup's not included in the unlimited offer tho. When I come back I'll make sure it's on a weekday so I can have all the beef samgyupsal I want!!128514

I am not actually into Korean dishes. It was just my cousin who was insisting me to visit the place. And yes! No regrets! this place was awesome. Aside from having a cheap and affordable price, you will get everything unlimited. The food was really good, as well as the place. Starting from the miso soup, different kinds of kimchi, and grilled porks. Will definitely visit the place again and will surely bring my friends with me. Kudos to the owner! 🍽127860127861

We tried Samgyupsalamat's Makati branch yesterday since my friend and I are craving for unlimited samgyupsal. And oh boy oh boy, their Makati branch is Meat Haven!!! 128525 we we're served several kinds of meat (pork belly, beef, galbi, marinated pork, pork belly with salt and pepper, etc! I already forgot what the others are called, last thing I remember is we ate all of it including the refills we requested hahaha). For just less than P500/person, you will have unlimited sidedish, rice and meat refill! 10084️ plus the place is really nice and cozy as well and they have super accommodating staffs! (And let me reiterate that every meat they served us is so tender and juicy after grilling it! Ahhhh I wanna go back ASAP 12858410084️)

Definitely 127775127775127775127775127775!

The restaurant that introduced me, and made me hooked and downright obsessed with Korean food. I've been here countless times! Very cute place, they renovated the interior now. And I think this is one of the cheapest Korean restaurants around (but then, differences in the prices of Korean food aren't that vast). Service is good. The place is also somewhat hidden, located along a narrow street perpendicular Leon Guinto. You really have to look for it as the logo's kinda small. Must try!

A walking distance from where we live! We tried this one rainy night when we're craving for something Korean. We ordered Unli 2 from their menu. Unlimited side dishes, meat and rice. Their Kimchi is somewhat sweet and we are used to a salt-sour kind of kimchi. Overall, the food and service is good!

Korean restaurant tucked in the streets of Taft.
First heard about this restaurant to be know for having unlimited everything. They serve meat for frying that comes with unlimited side dishes (kimchi, miso soup, and a number of vegetables). However, this promo is only available during weekends.
They require a minimum of 2 orders that comes with unlimited side dishes.

1. Free refills of side dishes. This is charged extra in other korean food places. Side dishes were absolutely delicious.
2. Unlimited meat. For 420 pesos, you can eat three kinds of samgyupsal. Just make sure you go there a couple of hours before closing (11 pm) so you can take your time while eating. The unli meat promo runs only on weekend, I guess. The greens were fresh and were not like the ones you could get at markets before stalls close. As fresh as it gets.
3. Free denjang chigae! You have to buy it separately in other restaurants so hey, not bad. Oh, and even if it's free, it still tastes great.
4. The place has the korean food place feel like the ones you see in drama series.

P450 for five different kinds of meat to be grilled in the middle plus four vegetable platters and soup! Best part is that it's unlimited so you can try all the meats once again. Favorite one is in the picture, tastes like bacon. The rest is the usual pork, one plain and one marinaded in sweet sauce. Beef bulgogi was nice though. Vegetables were fresh and a good balance to the food. Quite filling and worth it.

Note that the unlimited meat is only on Saturdays and for a limited time only, I believe.

If you're craving some korean fix but you're in a budget, you could try Samgyupsalamat in Taft. Quite budget-friendly and generous servings are the factor that why Samgyupsalamat differs from other korean bbq restaurants.

They serve various and unli side dishes such as kimchi, radish, onion sprouts (?) which is my favorite, etc. As for the meat, it is good however the slices are thin, not the usual samgyupsal I had before. We also ordered other meat which i forgot the names haha but those have thicker slices of pork. We also tried out other korean comfort food such as the rabokki and the kalbitang. The rabokki is okay, i guess because it has a few rice and fish cakes unlike in kkachi bunshik in Makati. The Kalbitang is also good just without the spicy taste.

Also, if you're a fan of korean stuff/media, you could watch your favorite k-idols since they play korean music shows replays on their tv. Place is good, a hole in the wall but the service is just meh. Anyway, Samgyupsalamat is really a good place to satisfy your korean comfort food cravings or if you're in for some fangirling!

Korean food is not something that the husband and I usually go for but after reading good reviews of Samgyupsalamat, we decided to make it a destination during one of our Foodie Saturday trips. We're sure glad we did as their food is awesome!

We came in during the late lunch/early dinner hours and were lucky to find parking space right in front of the restaurant. The place itself was not difficult to find as it is literally right in front of you after turning the corner on Leon Guinto toward Kapitan Tikong St.

As it was a weekend, they were offering their "unlimeted" (that's how it was spelled on the menu, true story) meat sets which are priced at Php 420 per head (all pork) and Php 450 per head (pork and beef) and included refillable servings of sides, rice and iced tea.

Since it was our first visit, we opted for the pork and beef set which consisted of sliced pork belly, pork belly slabs, pork neck bone steak, beef bulgogi and beef short ribs. They were all tender and well-seasoned, with the delicious sides complementing the tasty barbecued meat quite well. Speaking of sides, we were served the obligatory kimchi, pickled carrots and horseradish (my favorite among all), baby potatoes cooked in a delicious broth, sliced white onions drenched in a sweet and tangy sauce, scallions and bean sprouts tossed in a spicy dressing, iceberg and romaine lettuce and a miso-like soup with tofu and cucumber (you can tell I don't eat much Korean food as I don't even know what they're called!). Despite being refillable, they were served in generous portions. In fact, I would've been happy just eating the sides with steamed rice - they are THAT tasty.

Service was prompt and efficient - I was fully prepared that I'd be cooking our "unlimeted" meats but was pleasantly surprised when the servers would visit our table to check on our food and lend a hand with the grilling. The place itself doesn't have much of an ambiance, save for a few quirky murals on the walls. It's pretty spartan and clean which doesn't really affect the dining experience. I'd skip going to the bathroom here though.

All in all, we had a great time at Samgyupsalamat. Delicious food and generous portions at affordable prices - you definitely get value for your money.

Ahhhh korean food = heaven! For just about 400php, you can already avail their unli-meat experience. Take note that this promo is only available during weekends and holidays. Minus one star cause the server told us that we can't avail the unli-meat package (after waiting for almost an hour just to get seated).128575 My friend insisted and asked why. The server didn't answer his question though! He suddenly agreed to serve us with our unli-meat. Pretty weird.
