We were very lucky we found Busuanga's best kept secret! We decided to book 2 nights from our 8-day Coron-Busuanga vacation. This was actually my first time to use Airbnb. So glad we chose this place.
If you want to reach this place and you are coming from Coron town, you may contact their recommended van driver Kuya Rexlie. But in our case, we decided to take the bus since we were not in a hurry. The bus costs Php 50 only.
When we reached Sanctuaria, Nikki welcomed us and offered some juice. Good thing because we walked around 5-10 minutes from our drop off point. The place was very beautiful! The view from Buhay Bar was so good I want to live in that place forever (how I wish). By the way, Buhay is their good and wise dog. He can also guide you to a nearby waterfalls called Concepcion Waterfalls.
They also offer food and even asked you if you want something from their available ingredients. You may also cook in their kitchen. It's like you are living in a jungle. With the greens around you and everything.
Right after the sunset on our first day, we were surprised by the bats! It's an experience worth remembering. I haven't seen so much bats flying in the sky. I usually saw them just hanging inside the caves. 🙂 That's a first for me.
On our last night, we asked them if we could have a bonfire. They were all very nice they allowed us and prepared the fire pit with woods. Thank you! Too much memories with Sanctuaria we don't want to go home. Well recommended place, great people, amazing view and many activities to do. If you want some nice, quiet and peaceful place to stay, Sanctuaria Treehouses is the best place for you!

In need of a relaxing, worry-free, stress-free place? This is the place to be ️
Place is secluded like it felt we were on our own island. Surrounded by mangroves and a beautiful view, local and foreigners find this place paradise ️
What I really like the place was the accomodating owner who welcomed and treated us, guests, as friends. Brian, the owner, was really super nice. He had this nice place wherein guests can stay in a tree house, surrounded by family of geckos (per hut), situated on top of a hill. Group or solo backpackers can come to this place and enjoy some quiet time, a retreat place or even go on kayaking 🏼 with friends.
We felt at close with nature during our stay and lots of free time to explore the outsides of the resort.
In total, the area has 2 tree houses (6-8persons) and a hobbit room (3-4persons). Each room consists of beds with mosquito nets, sockets and electric fan. Whereas the bathroom are built separated from the house and is used by every guests. There are 3 stoned built bathrooms outside the hut, towels are provided for use and guests may use any of the 3 bathrooms. (Not convenient though if you need to go during the night).
Pros: Peaceful, quiet, secluded & serves delicious meals (180-280php range); Diving/island hopping activities may also be arranged
-Tricycle fare going in and out the resort is expensive and scarce
-Not so many activities available (saktong hang-out)
-Resort is more appealing for foreigners traveling
-Geckos are everywhere
-Mosquitos (bug repellent is a must have)
Sanctuaria Treehouse is not the usual resort. Everything is very basic and no fancy services or amenities. But if you need to do some soul searching or a break from the busy city life -- this is the place to visit.
