Sandbox By Alviera

A great place to experience breath-taking rides and Activities. They have the Giant Swing (One of the Best), Free Fall (Two Thumbs up), Wall Climbing, Rappelling, ATV (Which is very affordable) a Roller Coaster Zipline (I love) and many more. You have to go in group to be able to enjoy the activities and ofcourse, for pictures and documentation. 128540

The adventure seeker in me was glad we went to Sandbox. It was far from Manila, and we got lost. But hey we made it in time to try most of the activities. We availed of the Package A for PhP750 which includes entrance fee, giant swing, aerial walk, free fall, rappel wall, wall climbing and roller coaster zipline. Lines weren't too long on the day we were there, lucky for us.

So, I thought I was fit enough for the wall climbing but I struggled on it. The staff was nice enough to let me try few times until I finally gave up. But that was my first time ever to try wall climbing. After the wall climbing was the rapelling, which I did a bit badly. I actually did it a bit faster than I had to, and went straight below the ground. Oh, I was safe and unhurt.

I enjoyed the aerial walk which I did with my friends. Each of the obstacles provided certain level of difficulty which we passed with flying colors.

I chickened out on the free fall, but did the roller coaster zipline. Yuhhh, it was a roller coaster feeling, that was a first in my experience.

It is a great adventure to share with friends. Pay this one a visit, and you'll terribly enjoy it. Promise!

Adventure time!! If you love trying out new activities and don't mind having fun under the sun then you should try this place!

We left at 6am and arrived here at 8:30am. So we waited 30 minutes in the parking because they open at 9am. All rates and guidelines are in the photos I uploaded above.

A gigantic sandbox for kids and kids-at-heart! I won't spoil much about every activity we did here, but I really did enjoy everything here! I would love to go back and experience swinging 10 meters above the ground with their Giant Swing and challenge myself again with the Aerial Walk. Its an obstacle course elevated on air. This will test how brave and determined you are 128514 You have to finish this aerial obstacle all by yourself. Switching the smart harness from one rope to another. There are facilitators around the activity area and they'll instruct you on how to use the Smart harness. Because after that, you're on your own. But if you're having trouble, again, there are facilitators who will tell you some techniques on how to cross one obstacle to another. I can say that this Aerial Walk was the most challenging one from all the activities we tried. I'm proud to say that I was able to finish all those without falling! Whew! 128517

There are more attractions to try like the roller coaster zipline, free fall, wall climb, archery, rappel wall, ATV, and minigolf. There are also slides scattered for kids.

The facilitators are really nice, talkative, funny and approachable especially the facilitators on the Aerial Walk. There are also photographers roaming around on each attraction, taking photos of you. You can buy it on their booth. You can also ask them to take a photo of you using your own camera 128522

Bring sunblock, cap and umbrella! Wear comfortable clothes 128077🏼 If you feel hungry, there's a store near the entrance that sells sandwiches, sodas, etc. And I'm happy to tell you that their foods' not overpriced 128514

You got to check the P.E.A.C.E Kamp inside Alviera. It is a place where you could explore and interact with our brother and sister Aetas :-) It was an overwhelming experience.

I love this place! I gave a rating of 5 WITH reservations because it was crowded during the weekend because of a field trip. Of course it can't be helped that some people opted to squeeze in front of you because their friends reserved a slot for them.

Moving on, I loved their roller coaster zipline. It was much more frightening than expected because at the beginning you climb a small ledge, then jump to start the 'ride'. I really enjoyed the obstacle course and I feel pretty strong after it. Haha

I highly recommend this place to my friends. Its really worth the trip to Porac.

My friends and I decided to go to Sandbox for our weekend trip. It was a level-up from riding the attractions at SM By the Bay Amusement Park, which we often do. Haha! 128514We took a bus (Victory Liner) from Cubao going to Dau Terminal. The fare costs Php 139 and travel time was approx. 2 hours. We arrived at Dau Bus Terminal at 9:00 am. At the terminal, there is a van that will take you straight to Sandbox. The driver charged us Php 100 each.

We arrived at Sandbox at around 9:15 am. It’s located in the middle of nowhere. Lol! 128556 But you can see a nice view of clouds and mountains around it. The place and the “sandbox” sign, which I saw on pictures from the internet, were smaller than I expected.

Here are some tips:
Tip 1: Do not bring your own food and drinks. They will ask you to leave them before entering. However, there is a mini snack bar which serves delicious and affordable burger! I tried the pizza burger which costs Php 45 pesos and it was soo tasty!
Tip 2: Wear comfortable clothes and rubber shoes. No slippers allowed. Apply sunblock!
Tip 3: Gadgets are not allowed during the activities. If you have a GoPro, they won’t allow you to bring it unless it is mounted on your body. They won’t allow bringing GoPro in a pole even if it has strap. My friends and I took turns in taking videos/picture to capture the moments. Haha!

There are different packages for different activities. We bought Package A which costs Php 650 and includes Giant Swing, Aerial Walk, Free Fall, Rappel Climbing, Wall Climbing, and Roller Coaster Zip-line. We wanted to try all the main attractions so we chose that package.

From the entrance gate, the first attraction is the Giant Swing. It is said to be the country’s tallest swing and I enjoyed it so much! They have 2 swings and each swing can accommodate 2 guests at a time. It’s a more extreme version of EK’s Anchor’s Away. Grabe, intense!! But super fun!! 128516

After the Giant Swing, we went to the Adventure Tower where there are different activities such as Roller Coaster Zipline, wall climbing, rappel climbing, and free fall. We tried the Roller Coaster Zipline and it was fun! It was my first ever zip-line experience and it was exhilarating! However, it caused discomfort on my thighs. It stayed true to its name. Parang roller coaster!

Next, we tried free fall. The staff-in-charge told me to take a deep breath, look at the mountains and take one big step. I followed and didn’t look down! Haha! It was a fast drop and I landed on a foam. After that, we tried rappel climbing. I was more nervous here that in free fall because I need to use effort in order to go down properly/safely. But then, I was able to follow what the kuya said and landed properly 128514) The last activity we tried in the Adventure Tower was wall climbing. This requires gooood body coordination. Fellas with pasmado hands will have a hard time here. 128556I did not reach the top 128514haha but I still had fun trying to climb 128514

The last activity that we tried was the Aerial Walk. It was the highlight of our Sandbox experience. Lambitin to the max! Haha! It is a multi-leveled elevated obstacle course with high ropes, bridges and ziplines. It was so challenging and fun at the same time!!

During the activities, there were staff who takes pictures especially during the aerial walk. After finishing all the activities we went to the photo booth to see our pictures. We had a good laugh when we saw our pictures while riding the giant swing. Grabe, parang mga na-possess! Haha! The staff charged us 1,500 for hard and soft copy of our pictures. We paid 250 each for 4 printed pictures and soft copy of all pictures of us that they took.

After that we rode a tricycle going to Angeles, Pampanga to find a place to eat. The driver charged us Php 120 each. From Angeles, we rode a jeep going to Dau Bus Terminal.

Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience! It was fulfilling to complete all the activities 128077🏻 The place is nice and the staff are accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this place for adventure and thrill- seekers! 128512

It was solid fun. Good for team building!

Enjoyed the Giant Swing! It was an unexpected drop!! And the naiiwan-na-kaluluwa feeling is 128076🏼128076🏼128076🏼128076🏼128076🏼128518128518.

Aerial Walk is a must!! Ang lakas din ng loob ko to finish the course and it's windy that day, got tanned though.

But, their snack bar ran out of food so were like a bit hungry, no available cold drinks. They have a corkage for the food bought outside Sandbox. Hope, they will improve their forecast of their snacks. Haha.

PS Bring Sunblock!, wear long sleeves or a sleeveless, also wear like a spandex shorts or sweatpants. BRING WATER!! WEAR RUBBER SHOES!! haha so many edit. 128076🏼128076🏼128076🏼

Nice place. Gets too hot though and not that much roofing. Also only limited number of guests can be accomodated. You need to get there ealier. Also not for people who are afraid of heights.

If you like some outdoor fun, this is a nice place in Porac to go to. They have nice outdoor activities like Wall Climbing, Roller Coaster Zip Line, Mini Golf, Archery, a Giant Swing, Air Walk, etc.

We got there at about 4pm already, so since they close at 5pm, there were only 3 activities that may be tried. I only tried 2, the Giant Swing and the Roller Coaster Zip Line.

There was quite a long queue at the Giant Swing since only one swing works, took us about 30 minutes waiting. The swing was a cool experience! The kuya operator didn't bring us so high before we were released to swing but i I really thought we reached the highest limit. Cant help but scream when we were dropped to swing! Fun experience!

The Roller Coaster Zipline was more enjoyable for me. There were moments when you're just swinging by, then you'll have a sudden drop at some points! Fun!

There were other attractions I wanted to try when I go back.

What is amazing for me is the fact that, i think almost all if not all, their facilities don't need electric power to operate! 128077128077

If we went here on a weekday, I would have given this 4 stars. Weekends highlight the flaws of this place. We expected a big crowd since it's a Saturday so we went early. As advised by many, it's best to arrive before 9am because they have a cutoff. They don't allow too many people to enter because there are only about 10 (or less) rides/activities. Most are aerial so if you're on the heavy side, you'll be limited to archery and mini golf (which happened to my boyfriend who's a bit chunky and almost 6 feet tall). But they offer packages for those who are under the max weight limit (which I forgot to ask). The most expensive package is worth Php 650 and I think the lowest is around Php 300.

The queueing system sucks from the ticket booth to the rides. And it's upsetting since it's super hot (40 degrees feels) and they're lacking in equipment. On the rollercoaster zipline, there were so many people and only a few helmets. So what happens is a helmet gets passed on from one sweaty guy to another. Good thing I'm not that "maselan" because man that helmet was dripping wet and don't even ask me about the smell. 128531

It's literally a giant sandbox so don't expect a fancy theme park. I think it's not even fully developed yet. It was a fair experience for a first-timer but not coming back anytime soon. I would rather go to EK over and over. This isn't the place for impatient people with low tolerance of heat. 128514

Other tips? Don't die of heat stroke. Drink plenty of water and bring an umbrella. 128077

Been here twice and it was really fun. You can finish almost everything in an hour and 30 mins not that expensive too if you get the packages.

This is my second time to go to Sandbox. I can't give any review on the rides because I have never tried one. I'm scared of rides. But I atleast I got to try the Aerial Walk. It was really challenging! I wasn't able to finish it. It will take you around 30 to 45 minutes to finish this activity. I just wish there would be more big tents and maybe big umbrellas because the place is really hot. Talk about heatstroke.

Note: Not everyone is allowed to ride their attractions since all are powered by gravity. If you're on the heavy side, they'd ask you to try archery and mini golf instead.

The photo is the screaming part we, I mean, I had. The Giant Swing. This place is fun! Superb! Tiring but it gets better and better. Activities are soooo thrilling. A great getaway for barkadas/colleagues/schoolmates, even families but there's , like, only one place to buy food so. Btw, sunblock, leggings, and rubber shoes. YKWTD.
