Its been a long time since my last review. Acads always come in the way hahahha. Okay, was treated by my friend here and it wasn't that bad but it's a bit pricey though, they're quality food but the taste is average for me.

In our recent visit to Island Cove due to a dear friend's wedding, our accommodation included breakfast for two adults. Since there were three of us, we needed to pay extra for one but they were kind enough not to charge my eldest daughter. Since my youngest is a little more than 1 year, she was automatically free of charge.

Sangley Point Restaurant was the breakfast buffet venue. It was kinda hot because the area was open air - no AC. But that was okay. They have a good selection of food in the buffet, nothing grand but good. They have an assortment of rice - steamed, garlic, fried and kimchi rice! The usual Pinoy Breakfast staples were there too - tocino, longganisa and tapa. They have an egg station where you can have your egg anyway you want - hard or soft boiled, scrambled, sunny side or even omelette. They have sausages, ham (freshly carved out of a huge slab, pretty good with fat trimmings and sweetness), bacon (waaaay too greasy but people still wanted a piece or two), pancakes, waffles and french toast. Then they also have a selection of viand like adobo, Spanish Sardines, etc.

If you are into soup, they've got you covered too. Arroz Caldo, Mami or Champorado - whatever you fancy. It was also the first time that I saw some dilis as an optional topping into your Champorado.

To wash down all the food that you stuffed your face with, you can have coffee, hot chocolate or fruit juice. Then for dessert, you can choose from their assortment of fruits.

Wanting a light breakfast? Go get some salad and fresh greens. They have a salad station where you can make your own from their selection of salad ingredients and dressing. If not, they also have a bread section and a breakfast cereals section.

Overall, food was okay. It's your typical hit or miss in terms of taste.

This is another restaurant inside Island Cove in Cavite...totally awesome and perfect mix of menu items...Passion and quality of ingredients are the main factors of this restaurant and the best part of it...VALUE FOR MONEY! Ribs and Chicken are to die for, and their selection of fresh pasta dishes. Way to go!
